Ajuran:

Your school system has provided you a terrible education.
Says the Somali!

Ajuran:
If ethnic groups could be made up than why dont Black Americans who share the same origins make up an identity aside from having and belonging to a color?
They do have an identity. Aframs are an ethnic group. They have there own culture, history and many other things that they share.

Ajuran:
Yes ethnic groups are always changing. But they can't be made up over night and take hundreds of years.
Technically they can be made overnight. However they usually take a lot longer to become established.

Ajuran:

If ethnic groups are made up, then go make up an ethnic group from thin air.
Technically anybody can. Ethnic groups aren't set in stone and are constantly evolving.

Ajuran:
Somali ethnicity is not made up, we share the same blood, language, religion, culture, country, region, history, etc.
Still doesn't make you any less of a made up ethnic group. You believe that ethnic groups that have been more "established" are some how more legitimate than less established ones? It doesn't.

Somali is not a made up ethnicity, and our country is named after our ethnicity.
All ethnic groups are made up. All countries/state are made up. Please learn the definition of the term "Ethnic Group". I know that you're ret@rded but please at least try to do some basic level research!

@blackenichi
There is definitely a bantu look which is totally distinct from any other look in Africa.
That's partly true. However to say that the Congolese possess that "pure" Bantu look is ridiculous!

sonzo666:
And the bantus genetics have been shown to be significantly different from the west Africans or the horners genetics. So it doesn't make sense to say that bantus are genetically west Africans.
Bantus aren't genetically different from other West Africans. Many genetic studies have shown this. There's a anthrogenetic saying that goes Phenotype =/= Genotype. It means that physical features between different peoples doesn't always correlate to genetic relatedness.

sonzo666:
For sure,as Africans,we must have something in common. But to think that all Africans are the same is a fallacy.
I never said that all Africans are the same.

sonzo666:
Moreover,as I already put it,I don't fancy the mixed bantus at all: I find them neither attractive nor physically fit! When you try to melt together a Somali look with a bantu look, the result is a weak individual with a "rat" face ;DIs that to look good?
That's fine.

sonzo666:
Find me west Africans or east Africans who look like the bantus below:

congo:late jo

all these guys have the signature bantu face!
I can't find any.

sonzo666:

Bantus aren't west Africans!Dont claim what doesn't belong to you! grin
I said that Bantus are "genetically" West African.

sonzo666:
There is a classical bantu phenotype(the congo phenotype) and I can pick a Congolese person among any group of Africans.
One, there isn't a classic bantu phenotype. Second, Congolese bantus have varying levels of Central African pygmy genes so that in off itself will effect their looks. Thirdly, I'm sure you can pick a Congolese person from other Africans.

sonzo666:
If anything, mixing with so many other races ,has destroyed bantus uniqueness.

How so?

sonzo666:
By heavily mixing with cushites and nioltics, the eastern bantus (kikuyus,luyas,bugandas...) have lost a lot in terms of good genes. There is no genetic benefits for a bantu to mix with a Somali,a Fulani,a Nilotic....And this is mostly noticeable with men:The kikuyus men for example are ways weaker than the Congolese or the camerounese men.

Bullsh1t! Ugandans have produced some fine boxers from the continent. The Kenyan Rugby 7's team is mostly made up of Luhyas and Nilotic Luos and they have one of the best teams on the planet (in terms of rugby 7's). The Kikuyu have produce plenty of long distance runners outside of the Kalenjin. Also Nilotes love to wrestle and that has been passed on to the Luhya. While I agree that the Kikuyu aren't physical powerhouses because they quite a bit of Cushitic genes, they aren't slouches either.

sonzo666:
They cant even produce a decent footballer ;DThis is a result of mixing with masais, somalis, ethiopians
That's true. Cushitic admixed bantus (like the Kikuyu, Meru, Tanzania Bantus) aren't really built for football, boxing etc

sonzo666:
......And even in terms of beauty, the eastern bantus cant no longer produce splendid specimens like congo or cameroun people do.
Sorry but I beg to differ. Personally I think Cushitic admixed bantu women produce some of the most beautiful women in Africa. Women like Cynthia Masasi (Tanzanian bantu), Catherine Kamau (Kikuyu) Sheila Mwanyigha and Sheila Kwamboka (Kenyan Cushitic admixed bantus), Vanessa Mdee (Tanzanian bantu), Jocelyn Maro (Tanzanian bantu) are gorgeous. Those Cushitic genes help feminise their faces.

While Cameroonian women are stunning, I find Congolese women to be quite masculine looking. However Congolese men when they're good looking tend to be amongst the best looking men on the planet.

@BlackKenichi

Yep British colonial & antebellum US slavers learned from their own mistakes and those of the Caribbeans, and were very particular about the type of Africans being brought it and held large prejudice against Igbos, due to their tendency to favor suicide as opposed to a life of enslavement and Central African Bantus(Angolans/Kongolese) due to their penchant for maroonage, encoded message drumming, and fighting styles disguised as dancing, all of which led to the stono rebellion.
Indeed. However a lot of the slaves that that were imported to the Anglo Caribbean islands were Igbos and other SE Nigerians (also Cuba imported a lot of Igbo and Biafran slaves as well). Igbo slaves according to slavers had the highest runaway and suicide rate of African slaves. Kongo Kingdom slaves also had high runaway rates as well.

Supper:
The aftermath of which led to a ban on drums and other loud instruments and limitations on the imports of Angolans and a major shift towards the Upper West African Sahel/Sudanic regions(which were already in high number due to the rice agriculture).
That's true.

Supper:
Slaves from the port of Senegambia were always the majority in French Louisiana, though, and like the gullah-seminoles had close ties with "belligerent" native americans. These slaves participated in the Natchez revolt in Louisiana.
The Carolinas also imported a lot of Senegambian slaves as well. The Gullah on the other hand were mainly consisted of Sierra Leonean and Kongo Kingdom slaves (they also have the highest SSA genetic percentages in the USA). The Black Seminole maroons (America's true freedom fighters) were mostly escaped Gullah slaves who joined up with the Seminole Indians.

Oh yeah. I know both Mande and Fulanis both are very prideful people and don't back down easy. Fulanis have claim to be the last major SSA Empire still standing before European totalitarian colonialism as well as challenging and beating Saadi dynasty of the Morroccan empire, but Mande have claim to the Mali empire as well as the Mandingo wars which had the French shaking in their boots. So, as you can imagine a lot of pride & ego comes into play for both groups.

AAs are just proud to have ancestry from both groups. grin
It doesn't take much to scare the French!

KidStranglehold:
I swear the Fulani and Mandinka's are two of my most favorite African ethnic groups followed by the Tuaregs. Why the Tuaregs? Because they were basically the VIKINGS of Africa. Literally.
I can respect the Tuareg's warrior prowess but they are nasty, deceitful bunch of slavers.

KidStranglehold:
Next Angolans. IMO they are the toughest people of Africa. Basically the "Russians" of Africa.

1. Endured the worst of the Atlantic slave trade. With many slaves coming from that area. Almost depopulating the area.
2. Endured long civil wars and wars with the Portuguese before colonization.
3. Endured colonization.
4. Endured the war for independence.
5. Endured one of the most deadliest conflicts in Africa which lasted 23 years.

From pre-colonial all the way to their independence Angolans endured hell. But now they have one of the fastest growing economies in Africa. to me thats bad@ss...

Angolans are the Russians are Africa. Either them or the Zulu's.
The Russian are way overrated. However I agree with you about what you said about the Angolans. During the TSA era the Kongo Kingdom (Western Congo-Brazza, DRC and Northwestern Angola) sent the most amount of slaves. A lot of these slave were POW's from the numerous amounts civil wars in the Kongo Kingdom. According to the Euro slavers, Kongo Kingdom slaves were tough but prone to running away, becoming "maroons" and fighting back. One of the largest maroon settlements in the Americas was Palmares in Brazil. Many rebel slave leaders in the Americas were either from the Kongo Kingdom or the Gold Coast (Ghana).
Also the Zulu were tough but very inflexible.

Supper:

My vote for the toughest would be Zulus. lol Sorry, I just can't think of anyone that out grinds them in African history. Ashantis/akan would be close second.

But, Angolans even have competition from their neighbors in Congo. Don't forget the Kongo-Portuguese war. Though, Angolans did tear it up in the New World. But, so did ashantis/akan(Maroons in Jamaica).
As I said above. The slaves that caused the most trouble to the Euro slavers were from the Kongo Kingdom and Ghana. Ghanaian escaped slave used to reek havok in the Caribbean (including the Guianas). The toughest maroons goes to probably the Guianas. When the Guianas were ran by the Dutch they imported most of their slaves from the Kongo Kingdom and Ghana. Not very wise weren't they, the Dutch!? The Afro Surinamese and Guyanese are basically a mix of Congolese, Angolans and Ghanaians and their genes have served them well when it comes to sports like football and kickboxing.

Wow, you are really f*cking 5tupid! The Nilotic languages are a different branch of the Nilo-Saharan language family. While both the Nubian and Nilotic languages are both part of the same branch of Nilo-Saharan (Eastern Sudanic) that's where it ends.

Seriously stop talking about things that you know nothing about.
