Macof I think that was more meant as whose peoples are we talking and what era? I think that's relevant to clarify in some talks, which nations we talking and where and in which time, it's not like asking that question is invalid or all dumb.
Foreign Affairs / Re: Matthew Ajibade Dies In US Police Custody (Photo) by BlackLeopard(m): 12:21pm On Jan 09, 2015
Yeahh, I'm seeing dat, true. (I think my misunderstanding was when in quoting; I tend to assume poster quoted, is the one talked to/about unless otherwise specified).

And yeahh seeing wanting proper investigation too. I don't think it's likely to happen because racists everywhere but it's owed.

In my book no matter what he did would put the blame off them, because none of this harsh detaining stuff would be happening if he were white, and I'm rather sure it won't console his family either, but I'm in total agreement that silence should be lifted and is on itself a disgrace. He didn't deserve to die and they don't /get/ to keep this quiet.

Of course Nigerians got bipolar too.
It's maybe just not called that. It's called different things, talked as bad character, thing like that, but don't mean it isn't present.
And it's not like it's something that only some nations' people get.

What kind of people are we breeding in naija? Why is ignorance so welcome in naija? A young man died and you say we shouldnt care about how he died? How insane are you?
You are disrespectful to yourself and Nigeria as a whole. This ignorant comment will make people wonder if all Nigerian youths behave this way. I hope you are not abroad sha, you will bring too much shame to our people.

You obviously dont know beyound your mothers kitchen.

Nahh bro, what I'm saying is that these details don't change there's a lost life that should be respected and issue that should be prevented with other younglings; that what he died of doesn't *devalue* his death. May be jus my experience talking to people about this, too often these discussions land straight in 'oh he didn't die of X problem as claimed and it's soomehow his fault / the whole story is fabricated just to get pity outta the public', and the like. What I was trying to get back to attention is that he's someone to be mourned over and details like that wouldn't change that fact, if that make sense.

If this was Nigeria and he broke an officers nose, what will happen?
I just want to know how he died sha before I conclude. For all we kniw, he may have had a heart attack.

How's it fricking matter how he died?
He's *dead*.
Quit being all disrespectful to a dead ill young man, you're not entitled to these details, have some decency.

Don't know why be focusing on what imported religion/mentality got to say to things that are the very roots who we be.

Beside say the Bible brings up even the kings needed to consult ancestors when war got bad.

I still don't kno why so many ppl think friendzone legit is a thing. Like, a lady decides bout her body, and It ain't about the guy who got dumped, sorry not into you isn't a personal insult let alone wronging.

Religion / Re: What Is Your Take/opinion On Christain Women Who Wear Trousers? by BlackLeopard(m): 5:50pm On Nov 23, 2014
I'm thinking it's really not wise to take recommendations based in culture of other time and place, and then try to apply it on rather changed times.
There are things in the Bible (and any other holy book) that are meant as universal, for all time, an all. (Ethics codes, such). Other are rather specific to specific people (Jewish ppl x gentiles. Christians x Jewish folk. So on.) and not necessarily applicable to 'all of humanity', merely certain ethnic & religious groups. And then there's sum of things the Bible doesn't explicitly talk about, becos it was important to that era but ain't such a big deal through the history's course.

Bible wasn't meant to speak on industrialist and post-industrialist issues... like trousers.

IMO that Deuteronomy verse speaks more of having respect of each other and their property, both sided, than talk about clothing recommendations.

I wonder where these wicked groups get membership despite losses they are suffering daily. Some people are saying they are not Nigerians but hired murderers from war torn neighboring and distant countries. Wherever they come from we must weed them out.

It's always easier to jus say 'them not from our states, they're so unlike us'.
Yeah, unlike, possibly. But necessarily foreigners? No not really.
They'd have far better chance doing that sort of crime in other places if they WERE from those places. No need be coming place like Nigeria.
Politics / Re: Military Recaptures Abadam & Kills Dozens Of Insurgents by BlackLeopard(m): 9:48pm On Oct 28, 2014
That's not shocking. That's what terrorist misogynist shits of their kind do all of the time. R*pe is rather easy weapon of war.

And it's unethical of people to prey on suffering of those poor women and children. They don't tell their stories for shock value.

Op is there any desert route from 9ja to dubai? I like adventure in a treking way
Am sure NLers will love to see how d desert(nature) looks like, instead of all this artificial planes.

You seriously ready for deserts just with the 'love of adventure'?
What's your background dealing with extreme temperature switches, dehydration, long term journeys, illnesses, and the like?
Not sayin that to be answered btw. Saying that I'd consider your condition first, not just love of adventure.
An it's concerns, I don't want to dissuade you from travel or pursuing dreams.
