Crime / Re: Teenager’s Manhood ‘vanishes’ After Handshake by blakky97(m): 5:59pm On Jul 30, 2015 |
KoloOyinbo: The topic here is someone lost his manhood through a procedure that cannot be accounted for by scientific methods and equipment. By your logic sir, would you dismiss this case as untrue if you were in the shoes of the police men? All the news of ritual killings in order to create wealth cannot possibly be false! Don't you think so? That it exists is my point. I'm neither celebrating nor explaining it. All I'm saying is; events EXIST that cannot be explained for by science. |
Crime / Re: Teenager’s Manhood ‘vanishes’ After Handshake by blakky97(m): 5:50pm On Jul 30, 2015 |
ChokolateBoss:I did not intend to celebrate the existence of juju by my post. Rather I wanted to point out the fact that to claim that 'events that cannot be grasped by human intelligence through scientific and conventional procedures' do not exist on the ground that one has not by himself witnessed them is faulty in logic. Talking about the great technological achievements through science does not discredit the truth behind strange happenings whether in the poor and primitive parts in the world or otherwise. Like I said; there is more to this life than meet our eyes. That we cannot test everything through scientific means does not mean we know everything that exists. The law recognises my assertion to a degree. If mr A claims self defence to the crime of killing his neighbour who he believed to attack him with a spiritual broom, if on the average, a sane person in that community believes the broom to be deadly and able to dispense death on people, the law takes account of the average understanding of the portents of that broom in the same society, not necessarily the scientific point of view, and holds mr A's claim of self defense as valid. I'm not a lawyer, I read this, so I stand to be corrected by more competent people in the field. |
Crime / Re: Teenager’s Manhood ‘vanishes’ After Handshake by blakky97(m): 2:49pm On Jul 30, 2015 |
ChokolateBoss:Boss! It's a clear fact that there is more to life than meet the eyes. I used to doubt many things in the past too because I had never witnessed them. I still doubt that a parrot can actually untill the day I see one talking. But the reality of it is; when I served in ijebu igbo, I understood that yes! Juju exists! And it works like magic! Only God: the owner of the seen and unseen can actually save and protect a man. Juju sir, is real! As real as it is that you have a surname! |

Family / How Marriage Affects Relationships With Close Friends by blakky97(m): 6:00pm On Jul 24, 2015 |
I've been thinking about this lately. If a man decides to date a girl with the intention of marrying her, what happens to his close female friends? Generally we may have a very close female friend who we know we can't get married to, but we probably knew before we met out spouses. Some are so close that we find inner comfort in confiding in them. They also confide in us, telling us their greatest secrets and having no limit to what we can discuss and iron out. I mean, they could even tell us what their bfs don't do right you know what I mean? So to the experienced ones here; when getting married, 1. Do you put constraints to such old friendship? 2. Seeing that some friends can simply not be replaced by your wife, does your wife feel jealous realising the confidence you have in another lady and how highly you hold her in esteem? 3. Do you have the pins of your spouse phones and password to know the content of the gists that you always see her smiling broadly and happily whenever she chats with her male friends? 4. Who is this lalasticlala and ishilove I always see people mentioning? Why are they so famous here? 5. Does your wife feel any sense of competition with your close female friend? Or would you rather they became close friends too even if your wife may not like her? 6 do you change numbers after marriage? I need experienced answers. |
