The current grid infrastructure is crying for help, but APC is too busy with stomach infrastructure schemes to give it needed attention.

The report is saying over $1.4billion loan for infrastructure was disbursed within that 10-year window period o.

It's only in Nigeria that u will see government spend billions in dollars on refinery TAM and the refinery will refuse to work; we will spend billions of dollars on electricity infrastructure and power grid keeps collapsing.

If you ask for answers, they will call u wailer.

In Awka, the cult killings are happening in broad daylight, inside the state capital. Many have stopped attending Egwu IMO Awka cultural festival because they have turned it into cult festival.

It happened in broad daylight too in most of the places I mentioned.

Search for NaijaConfra on Telegram, u will see gory pictures of cultism-related killings all over the country. You will shudder.

It was in the afternoon they cut one guy head and placed his severed head on Ijoko bridge for people to see

The government should be hard on those musicians too because they promote it alot

Just the way they banned miracle on live TV during the time of Obasanjo, they can ban musicians from using cultism suggestive words, slangs, handshakes and gestures. It's so crazy that 14, 15 and 16 year olds have been joining cults from secondary school sef nowadays.

You go see them parade 20 year old cultist and he go dey tell reporters say he don dey do cult for 5 years. shocked How?

join cult because of a cultist oppression is the most stupid thing I've ever seen.. in my uni days, soldiers.. I repeat, soldiers will follow you for free šŸ†“ without you paying a dime if you reoort to any of them thay a cultist obtained you, they will follow you, if they catch that cultist, they eill rough handle him, a d thereafter they will never fĆŗck with you again. Not to talk of when you hold small money you re ready to spare..

People join cult because of youthful exuberance, show offs and peer pressure..

Although some people join because of oppression from cultist but it's the most lamest excuse I've ever seen for one to join cult

I agree with you on the bolded 100%. Joining a cult group because of oppression is the dumbest excuse anyone can give for joining a cult.

One stupid guy that I watched his interview after he was arrested in Ogun state, he claimed he joined cult because middlemen were always running away with his yahoo money knowing he can't do them anything as a jew. So he joined cult to forstall that.

Unfortunately for him, he didn't even spend more than few months as member before a killing happened and the police anti-cultism group went on arrest spree. Na so dem arrest the weyrey without enjoying any benefits from the cult grin

They can kill themselves but using civilians as collateral damage is what I don't like.
From the link I post I checked further and one of the members said only 2 out of the 11 people killed were actual cultists, so 9 people were unfortunate to be in the wrong place at the wrong time

One thing I respect wike for was taming cultism in PH, I wish all state governors can follow his footsteps.
Ogun and Edo is becoming something else, I doubt 80% of their youths will stay up to 45 years alive

I think federal government needs to help the state government. Let them pass law that criminalizes all these celebrities promoting cultism in their music audio and videos. Some youth join different cult groups simply because of how entertainers glamorizes cultism and how some of them use it to oppress others in the industry.

For example someone like Yhemolee attended OAU where cultism was almost non existent. He became a celebrity and was still flexing till it was alleged one other guy who is also Gee slapped him at an event over an altercation because that one belongs to a cult group. That was what made him to enter bush to belong after escaping cultism all through higher institution. embarassed. I never see that kind mumu reasoning before in my life.

There's a cultism endemic spreading like wild fire in this country and most people are not aware.

There have series of bloody cult clashes in Edo state earlier this year, there have been killings and counting of scores in Abeokuta, Ogun state, there have been recent bloody cult clashes in Benue state, there was a recent cult shootings at IMSU. Even recently there was cult clash between Iyana Ipaja boys and Agege boys. In that Lekki axis too, those boys have been killing themselves like fowl.

I even read recently of a cult shooting in Nasarawa state.

If you follow naijaconfra on Twitter, u will see constant updates about cult clashes. Their Telegram channel is filled with gory pictures and videos of cultists' dismembered bodies ; you would even see video of cultists beheading rival members on camera.

Even though different state police commands formed anti-cultism units, those ones usually abandon their jobs of arresting cultists and be focusing on extorting any young person they a cost on the road. Although some of the anti-cultism units too have arrested wanted criminals.

I watched the interview of one of the cultists they arrested recently, the guy was the one that killed one rival member at Ijoko, Ogun State and hung the guy's head on Ijoko bridge in broad daylight. When he was arrested, he claimed he beheaded the guy because he killed his own younger brother who was a number one. That's how they keep killing each other till there nobody left to remember scores

there are many subsets of education you know.

Formal and academic education have lots of advantages, so does other of it's subsets like informal education ,skills, self learning, etc..

What I'm against is the fear factor you guys tends to put in the mind of people making them believe this formal education is the el dorado of it all.

Tomorrow, if that person graduates and refuse to find a job, he'd start blaming people who had told him otherwise..

The "you will regret it" phrase sounds more like a threat than an advice

It is not a threat but an advice . Some of us know senior men who have been unable to move ahead because of educational qualification barrier .

Some of us have friends who currently regret they didnā€™t see their academic program through because we see openings we wished we can recommend them but they do not have the qualification .

We simply donā€™t want him to be in such awkward position in the future . We are talking from naija point of view and not abroad where educational qualification doesnā€™t really matter in the grand scheme of things in the labour market .

In naija , even if u make money without education , u will still be encouraged to take educational qualification in the future when it will be harder for you. Education open ur path to a world of unlimited opportunities . Even when u want to relocate from this country , emigrating as an educated person sets u apart from those emigrating as unskilled labour .

Saliba's red card did more damage than a lot of fans think taking the Liverpool game into context.
I was looking forward to having Timber (if Tomi is not fit) at LB to neutralize Salah. But now we will be forced to play Calafiori which to me is very very risky. The other option is to play either Rice or Partey in defence which is a big No!

But some fans wanted the aged Partey to play CB or RB yesterday . The same Partey we all have been clamoring Arteta not to use in defence ever again. The way those Bournemouth fast and physical attackers go take rush am ehnā€¦..

Whether we like it or not, all the matches weā€™ve lost points this season have been due to our players getting red carded through indiscipline . The surest way to get us out of this mess is for the management team to talk to the players to avoid those red card incidents as much as they can. We need to show discipline , we cannot be swallowing red cards every match and expect 10 men to always triumph over 11 men. Thatā€™s like hoping for miracles. At game week 8 , we already have 3 red cards in 3 different matches .

Indiscipline will be our bane this season if we donā€™t watch it.

Our Fullbacks too are always copping useless yellow cards for wasting time taking rubbish throws. These are the areas we should be tackling Artetaā€™s team and not just be forming narratives in our head just to show we are not Artetaā€™s fan no matter what he does

I'm a christian but I don't support Israel because they are terrorists and don't deserve to exist as a sovereign country. Give us reasonable reasons why they don't deserve to exist as a sovereign country.

Remember in 1947 United nations voted that Israel exist and Palestine exist as separate nations but Palestine were the one's who believe otherwise. They chose to pursue annihilation of the Jews instead of establishing their own nation that can compete with Israel on all good fronts.

Since u said u are a Christian , one would expect an unbiased view from you since Christian are a tiny majority amongst the Jews and Arabs.

I agee with you on Zinny overall but in this game, Kiwior added absolutely nothing, if anything he was just as much of a burden defensively like Zinny would have and added nothing offensively, so what value did he bring? Arteta could have played a back 3 if he wasnā€™t bringing Zinny in.

The high line we are talking about is nothing new, I have seen it severally this season. Arteta pushes his luck with it and sets up our defenders to fail because it is ridiculously high. There is high line and there is Arteta high line. I mean, our defenders were playing at the center circle!

Remember the Bayern game in the UCL? It is this same very high line where he was trying to force the issue and Bayern punished us severely. I am recalling only the Bayern game because it was consequential. You donā€™t force a high line when you donā€™t have creative players to open your opponents.

We needed to play a balanced game, especially after going down. If we did, I believe we would have given ourselves a chance to steal the game in the final quarter or minutes of this game.

At our worst, either because of injuries to core players, change in tactics, caution (red card), we need to trust that Arteta can be the identifiable difference in securing all 3 point.

I agree the highline was terrible and our attacking players should be doing better.

I also think the 3 major changes of Merino starting, sterling starting and white replacing Timber on the RB position impacted negatively on our entire output as a team. Arteta takes the blame certainly for that.

I believe if Saliba was confident of Whites ability he ought not to have fouled Evanelson leading to his red card.

I just hope the team learnt their lessons and we bounce back with or without injury returnees' boost.

Also, instead of Kiwior, why not Zinny? Could we have played a back 3, keep the middle without losing our strength at the top? Why the hell were we playing that high? It cost us that Red card even though Saliba should have been smarter. Did we need 4CBs on a flat back line after the red? Merino was poor, he should have been taken off earlier than he did.

Local man is weak!

Baba, Zinchencko is worse defensively when compared to Kiwior. I don't like Kiwior as a player but he's still defensively stronger than Zinchencko.

I don't like the highline we played but I noticed we've always kept that kind of highline against bournemouth ; I don't know why.

I don't have problem with the defense but I have issues with the midfield trio. Merino should've been benched for Nwaneri to give room for creativity in the middle. Even though Odegaard and Merino are left footed players, there is a gulf of quality attacking-wise between them.

Coaching job no easy o cheesy

If he had drawn or stole a win....fans would applaud...
If he had risked not replacing the CB and ended up with a cricket score....fans would still drag him ....it's a risk that didn't pay up

They know these things, but anything to lash out at Arteta is always welcome ahead of objectivity.

Arteta has his balmes for not getting some things right leading to the loss, but bringing in a defender to fix the hole left by Saliba is not one of those mistakes. It was the most logical and natural thing to do.

We should be concerned about our players copping red card unnecessarily due to indiscipline issues. We should be worried that Arteta is not having a sit-down talk with these boys to make them see how those red cards can be the reason we might not lift a major trophy if they keep losing their cool.

It's always the most sensible thing to do when you're a man down with lots minutes to play. Take an attacker off and introduce a defender. Wenger did same with with Pires in 006, took the lead after the red and nearly won the UCL but of course, nearly does not kill a bird but the point still stands.

It's the issue with most fans, if arsenal attackers took their chances and then parked a trailer it's another three point but because the game is lost then you'll see different opinions.

Arteta did the right thing!

We have fans here who always wait for Arteta to make a mistake and then lash out at him.

Now the issue is that Arteta did not make a miskate with that sub like you rightly noted. If Arteta had decided not to take Sterling off and bring in a defender, it simply means one of our defenders will have to drop back to play as a CB.

Arteta who trains the players probably knows none of our current midfielder can play CB for over one hour of football. It's only logical to bring in a defender to have a chance at putting up any fight with 10 men.

Yes because we ended up conceding 2

And who says we won't concede more than 2 without a substitute CB? So u think having Sterling who didn't track back for most of the minutes he played would've made us score while Bournemouth will just forget we are one man down?

We lost simply because our players are undisciplined once again. I will definitely blame Arteta for not instilling discipline in his players but I won't blame him for the sub that made logical sense.
