Please I just got my redmi last week as I've not used the product before, but the guy that sold it to me bought it brand new last year July and he gave me the carton and the receipt of purchase. He now log out from one account there I think it's mi account and replace it with my own with my phone number...they sent the mi account number to my phone after he did factory reset and logout on his account,my question is hope I won't have any issues with this phone because of this though the guy said he had removed all his details there... The phone is redmi 9t 128g/4gram... The phone operates differently from techno or infinix that I've used to... Just love this phone but it used to consume too much data when using, anything I can do to that too? Thanks.

Concerning the phone consuming data, goto settings - Connection & Sharing - Data usage.
And Make sure you Restrict Background data for all Apps.. With this, It will not consume much data anymore

How many people are using the6/128 variant in Nigeria?

They are Few though, i was also told by the same merchant that the 6-128gig variant wasn't meant for the Nigerian Market which I believe him Because when I wanted to buy mine, I went to almost all the major phone stores in Abuja, from Banex to GSM Village etc, and I was told then that R9T doesn't come in 6-128gig.

Who knows what he might have tampered with trying to do your phone. You should have told him to remove the casing of the power IC.

I have noticed something with this 9T, is like the variants that have this deadboot are mostly 4-64gig. Am yet to see the 6-128gig have this issue.

Guys, I have a challenge with my Redmi 9t. I tried updating the phone after I saw an update to version 12.6.8 or whatever.


I updated and rebooted afterwards, as instructed.

I have been stuck on the MIUI page ever since after a 115mb update.

It's over 40 minutes, and my phone is still not coming up. What can I do about it?

Please, help. I can't afford to get another phone at the moment. I use the phone for work daily, too.
