Guys, kindly advice me on a fast and affordable internet service provider to use based on your recent/current experience. Mine is killing me; after expending about 6k in less than a week, i've just headed to a cyber cafe. For a newbie who has not made a dime, i need to think fast for my work to be sustained.

thanks, waiting.

You have to write some exams to be able to bid on some projects. You can just put it 250. The employer will discuss with you on how many articles is required and at what rate. Watch out for the prices fixed by other freelancers and place yours in-between the range.

Oh, when i tried to bid, i was actually prompted to take the US English level 1 exam which i did. Now i understand, thanks ladywriter. ok, guess i would understand the bidding thing more as i move on.

hi guys. what's a qualified project on freelancer please? And I must admit that I am a bit confused about project pricing.I'm about to bid on a project that the employer is awarding at 250 -750 and all in the project description is articles. How many? how long? So, how really can i fix a price when i do not have the specifications? I see this is the norm on freelancer. somebody pls enlighten me.

Glory be to the name of the Lord. The Lord bless us with our first car (because there will be many) from online earnings (majorly from FL). I am sharing this to encourage each and everyone of you to keep on moving, no matter the obstacle on your path. My secrets? Hmmm! It is first of all God, Hardwork, diligence and ability to keep learning new skills. For you to make it big online, you must be ready to learn new skills. A big chunk of my income comes from Internet and Market research. Ready to pick my brains in these areas - Market research, Internet research, e-book and report writing etc. Get in touch.

Ladywriter, hearty congratulations to your family on your newly acquired 'gigantious automobile'(lol). Surely, the Almighty is enriching you in folds as you bless others. 'Brethren', this has become one big church o, with the constant sharing of 'testimonies!'

I am working on my accounts on both fiver and freelancer - trying to create gigs on fiver and write some necessary exams on freelancer. Once again, God bless you ladywriter and all for inspiration. A big congratulations again!

USING THE INTERNET TO SELL.

Selling online can be fun because the sales are done almost automatically but have a serious problem of trust from the buyers (customers).

There are different platforms you can use to sell your imported products fast on the internet if used effectively.

They are as follows:

KONGA.COM
selling on Konga is great because they have gone far to earn customer’s trust so leveraging on it will be a good move in order to get your goods out of your house or store.

To start selling on Konga just follow the instruction from this link http:///sell to register and start listing you’re your goods ASAP.

KAYMU.COM
To be honest I have not really used this site to sell before but I created an account sometime ago but never used it because I had other options that was yielding results.

You can go ahead and try it out, it is the same process with kings.com just that you will have be the one to ship products to the customers when they buy on like KONGA.COM

Don’t be discouraged you can try it out!

DEALDEY.COM
This site too is amazing just as KONGA.COM because it also got much traffic of people who has trusted the site enough to buy from it.

All you need to do is go to the site, register and start listing your products on it and then grab your seat to watch your sales popping in as long as you are selling what people want to buy.

Incase you don’t know how to find out what people want to buy you can go and read this thread to discover the formula.

Remember OLX is a FREE Classified Ads Platform.

1.TAKE PICTURES.
Take your time to take enough photos of the product you are selling as this will not only show them how the products looks like but also how to use the product and that you also have in stock what you are selling.

2. WRITE FULL DETAILS.
Write full details of the product or goods you are selling. Also Brief on how to use it. Like an instruction on how to use what you are selling.

3. TESTIMONIALS.
This will go along way to clear doubts especially if the product you are selling is a new product entirely.

Just a few from satisfied customers will do.

Make sure you get their permission first ooo

@samplanner if u feel underpaid on a job, just follow your heart and leave it. On the long run such jobs will only tie u down and prevent you from getting better ones and rising in your career. writing rates differ widely. You will get better ones, let the stingy india guy go. He will get other interests sure, but you define what you want for yourself.

I also saw this. the pros can say if it counts:

"Note that the minimum withdrawal is $30 and your first withdrawal will be delayed for 15 days for security purposes."

https://www.freelancer.com/community/articles/successful-freelancing-with-freelancer-com

ladywriter:
For people who plan to withdraw for Xmas or New year - I read it today on freelancer.com that there will be no processing from 21st to 28th of December. That means you cannot withdraw funds for one week. So, you have today (Sunday 14th) and Wednesday(17th) to make withdrawals before the new year.

ok, thanks.

I dont think it's a problem. When I wanted to verify myself, I sent them documents with my maiden name and explained to them that I was married. You may be asked to send your credentials when you add them as part of your
profile.

It is solvable so just focus your mind on making money grin

Hi all

I've been reading this loaded thread and trying to take action. I'm grateful indeed.

@ ladywriter and other married women especially: Are academic credentials required at any point? If so, are there any issues if you have your maiden name on your certificate and your current ID has your new surname? reply pls, thanks.

Business / I Need Supplier For Souvenir Items (unbranded) by boladale(f): 11:54am On Dec 27, 2013
Hi Nairalanders,

I want to go into sale of brandable items (household items) that can be used as party souvenirs: glass wares, aluminum/steel items, ceramic, plastic, fabric (e.g napkins, shopping bags, umbrellas etc.). I would appreciate contact from an intending supplier who can give me these items regularly at a good price. I cannot afford a cash-and-carry basis just yet but we can work out payment modalities.

If anyone can link me up with such a supplier I would be most grateful.
