The amazing moment when Little Phoenix (barely a day old) was taking to the pool by his father after he was delivered by a cesarean process. According to reports, The baby so tiny, fits easily into his father’s hands, still so young he has barely opened his eyes for more than a few minutes. But at one day old, Master Phoenix Charles Elwell, all pink and wrinkly, is taking happily to the water. Never mind that he still has a lot to learn before he can actually swim – or that he wouldn’t keep afloat without those helping hands, despite having a jolly good try. For Phoenix is the youngest child ever to be enrolled as a Water Baby in a national programme aimed at making swimming not just safe, but fun for all the family. He was born by caesarean section at 10.44am, a healthy 8lb 5oz. At 10.50am he got his first cuddle from his 30-year-old father Simon Elwell, dressed in a hospital gown as he held him proudly for a milestone snapshot.

Resveratrol has been credited with having protective effects against heart disease, cancer, Alzheimer's disease and a number of other conditions. Naturally present in red wine, red grapes and some berries, it is also available as a supplement.

However, a study now suggests it can lead to developmental abnormalities in the foetal pancreas. The study was carried out by the Division of Diabetes, Obesity and Metabolism and the Division of Reproductive and Development Science at Oregon Health and Science University in the United States.
