All through my teenage, early adult life, relationships were something I never gave thoughts to. I loved once and I knew how emotionally messy I can be when I love. When I was writing my junior waec, a boy desperately fell in love with me. Pure unadulterated love. He asked for nothing in return. He fought my battles, coached me, built a solid foundation from which I was able to note genuine love from afar. He made me realize that a man can wait for you if he truly sees a future with you. That any man that asks you for sex in a place of proving how much you love him is a fraud. Kai, Igwebuike taught me plenty things oo. I owe him a lot but yadiba.

So, when Igwe’s parents refused us from being together because I had no father, I decided to lock my heart and face my studies. During these period, I met good, bad and the ugly men. Some I liked, some I just wanted their money, while some even wanted sex with. Well, university came and went. By now I’ve had many suitors, some I wanted to marry but they could not deal with my strong personality, some I didn’t want to marry but was almost pushed to and some I had mixed feelings for.

Immediately a girl is about 25, society begins to count years for her like life depends on getting married and breeding children.
Just like each of us, I wanted to be called Mrs sombori, ehen nụ. Ka akpọm nwunye mmadụ. Fortunately I met and passed 25 without getting married. So, in 2016 I met this my Ex. He was a sweet boy. A very caring handsome young dude bubbling with big dreams which I wanted to be a part of. His major weakness is that he is a Public P3nis. He swayed me off my feet that within 3 months I already said yes to his proposal. I left town for a few months job training, just to come back to lots of drama.

Initially when we started, I told him I am team no Sex before proper marriage, he thought he would use the engagement to get in between my legs, unfortunately it didn’t work for him. So we started having some petty arguments. During one of the arguments I threw his ring back at him and called it over. The next day, when I was stable, I went to his house, only to meet two girls half naked. I didn’t even say a word. I went to kitchen to prepare food, after which I took my bath, wore his shirt and came to the living room. By now it was already night and the girls were not even shaking body to go. I politely asked them to go that I have some things to discuss with my man and it is getting late. That they can come back next day to continue their gist.

Before I knew what was happening… These two young ladies descended on me, ha tirim don’t be silly. Ha kụrụ mụ ihe ka nwatakịrị. They made me understood that my Ex is not yet legally married to me and so they have equal rights as me to be in his house.

Prominent Nigerian singer David Adedeji Adeleke, better known by his stage name, Davido, has said that his upcoming single would become the biggest song in the country when it his released.

The singer who runs Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) made this known on Thursday during a joint interview with artistes signed to his label.
Speaking on Cool FM, Davido revealed that his upcoming single, which will be released on April 30, will be the “biggest song in the country.”
He said the song is called ‘Assurance’.

“I’m dropping a single on the 30th of April. It’s gonna be the biggest song in the country. It’s called ‘Assurance’,” he said on the programme.

The DMW boss alongside Yonda, Peruzzi, Fresh VDM who are other members of the record label were at the radio station to promote their new song titled ‘Aje’.

Nigerian singer, Wizkid has replied a fan who told him he has f*cked up via a tweet. This is coming just days after some other fans called him out for not performing in Coachella.

No fewer than twenty-five National Youth Service Corps’ members serving in Delta State are to repeat their service year, while nineteen others absconded out of a total of 2, 838 corps’ members of the 2017 Batch “A” stream 1.
The State Coordinator of the NYSC, Mr. Omotade Ayodele Benjamine, who made this known at the weekend in Asaba, said that three corps members out of the 2, 838 who passed out, served meritoriously, and were awarded with various awards. He, however, added that ”25 NYSC members failed the extant laws while 19 absconded from service”.

According to him: “While two out of the three selected corps members who belong to stream 1 received the chairman’s award, the other one got a cash reward”.
But the state governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, at the passing out ceremony in Cenotaph Asaba, said that corps members cannot be more needed than now in answering the question of unification, and the need for peace in Nigeria.
The governor explained that in opening a vista for cobwebling of ethnicity on Nigeria, it makes it a very potent unifying tool, and called on the corps’ members that in spite of the myriad security challenges, they should remain one.

There are indications that the professor at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Osun State, who was accused of demanding sex from a female student of the institution in return for marks, has allegedly gone into hiding.

The Punch reports that when it visited his office on Thursday, Pastor Richard Akindele, a professor of management and accounting in the varsity, was not around.
Speaking to one of the staff at his department, the lecturer said the man had been hiding since his leaked conversation with the female student went viral on the social media.
The lecturer, who sought anonymity, added that the professor was also not at his residence, adding that some members of his church had been going to his house to sympathise with his wife

He said, “The prof is not in the office. He has not been coming since his alleged conversation with a female student went viral. I don’t know where he is, but he has finished his sabbatical and has come back to the campus before this scandal broke out.”
Also speaking on the matter, the OAU Public Relations Officer, Abiodun Olanrewaju, said he could not tell if the lecturer had gone into hiding, adding that the committee investigating the matter had started sitting.
He said, “For now, the prof. has finished his sabbatical, but he has some accumulated leave. It is only his head of department that can say categorically if he has been coming to the office or not.

“I don’t know if he has gone into hiding because he is not a criminal. We are still investigating the allegations levelled against him. He has not been convicted and he is not before any court of competent jurisdiction.
“We have set machinery in motion to identify the characters in the audio tape. Obafemi Awolowo University is the best ICT university in Nigeria and we have the apparatus to determine the vanity or otherwise of the audio tape.
“If any student comes out to tell the university that certain things happened to them, the university will investigate it. As a university, we don’t rely on speculations, neither do we dwell on rumours. But if we receive a formal complaint from anybody, either student or worker, that has to do with harassment – whether sexual, political, social or religious – we will take it up. But there must be a complaint before we know what to do.

“The girl that recorded the audio, we are still working on her identity and when she comes forward, we will know. But it won’t be in the interest of members of the panel to pre-empt that. However, they have started sitting on the issue.”

He explained that the university would ensure that thorough investigation was done into the matter to convince the public that the institution did not cover immorality or any other anti-social behaviour.
The PRO said the university would make the findings of the committee public because it had nothing to hide.
