Not so bro. Yes the Brits rigged the election to favour the north but the igbos held control of the civil service, the military, the private sector, etc. The rigged election only gave the north large seats in parliament but the top shots in all sectors of Nigeria were held by igbos.
The Nzeogwu coup and civil war defeat finally gave the north everything. So in essence, the Nzeogwu coup was the greatest folly of igbos not the British. Awolowo exploited that civil war defeat to empower the yorubas, by robbing igbos of their bank savings and investments. The indigenization policy also followed , etc. While the yorubas took over the economy and civil service, the north took full control of the military and with that ruled nigeria for over 30yrs.

Am not one to digest other peoples views or narratives but the british favouring the north, though true, did not cause the dysfunctional the Nigeria of today. The failed Nzeogwu coup did.

But though igbos lost everything, Nigeria gained.
The coup Nzeogwu plotted was the best thing that ever happened to Nigeria. That coup pre-empted the jihad which Ahmadu bello was to continue after the British left.

Nzeogwu got intelligence that Ahmadu Bello was stocking weapons and preparing to continue the jihad and conquer the entire south. Hence, he acted fast with that coup. And that saved all other parts of Nigeria. If not for the jihad, Nzeogwu would have taken more time to plan the coup and make it more successful but he needed to act fast. He did, and it achieved its primary aim of stopping Ahmadu Bello but its secondary aim of clearing all politicians failed.

The jihad and corruption is the reason Nzeogwu coup targeted both military leaders and political leaders- a fact which the North and West never understood.

So yes, Nzeogwu is our greatest saviour. Think like this, we either had an islamized & conquered Nigeria Or a dysfunctional Nigeria of today.

Obviously, I prefer the latter because future generations would correct it. But a conquest of all Nigeria is irreversible. Thanks to Nzeogwu.

Thanks for learning.

Thanks for taking the time to teach man. But am I the only one who’s tired of the north ruling.

They did not give the north power, yorubas did.

Yorubas did also, but the system was already rigged to give the north power, they were assigned a greater land mass as compared to the East and west. The early Parliament House had more northerners as compared to other areas, one thing I know is that Yorubas are just people who are easy to manipulate. And they’ve been fine with that their whole life. Every time a norther assumes power, he ensures he puts his people first so he’d be able to loot well later, the same can’t be said about yoruba and Igbos, as they always look to fill their pockets first.

in that case king Solomon and king David are on this team and league, same as king Cesar, Queen Victoria, Alafin of Oyo, Awujale , Lagelu of Ibadan and his warriors, Kosoko of Eko

Atleast Dan Fodio and his men mostly commited palace coup, and avoided full blown war the above listed people fought war for the spoils and gains of war killing and maiming whoever was on their way, some even claim their God had promised other peoples ancestorial land to them

Hypocrisy is calling one terrorist and the other Colonialist or Prophet of God

macroevolution is completely unscientific, you can't test it. it is simply an interpretation of similarities between organism. if rav4 2018 looks like rav4 2016 it doesn't need evolution, a creator is a better interpretation. secondly, where did the molecules that formed the first genetic material come from? what brought about the beginning of the universe?

the dinosaurs were obviously captured at the sixth day of creation, many erroneously think they the Bible needs to mention the animals like goat, dog etc. moreover there are accounts of animals we know are dinosaurs although the word dinosaurs were only coined less than 200 years.

Job 40:17
He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together.

a cedar is a tree. so that verse is saying the tail of that creature is as long as a tree. this is clearly the description of a dinosaur

Job 41 also gives more explicit description of this creature: armored plates on its body impregnable by arrows

yes incest is wrong because the genes of man had been greatly tarnished by due to the death caused by Adam's sin. Incest is the only way they could multiply. Incest wasn't a bad thing then.

also explain to me the relationship between length of life and evolution

I like the way you choose your words, will definitely take me sometime to reply you on that. But first isn’t a sin a sin? When did the definition of sin change? Cause if incest is a sin rn? Why wasn’t it then?

so how did life come about

You might find this funny based on your believe but the idea of life is purely scientific, years and years of evolution. If the Bible or Quran covered the creation of man. And earth. How come dinosaurs and other beast were never mentioned? How did life go from Adam and Eve to Cain and his other siblings to what we have now without incest? That’s why the idea of man is scientific due to evolution and that’s why we don’t live as long as those of old did.

What's your concept of God

Without purpose, humans are believed to be useless or dead while yet living, as there’d be chaos and lawlessness. The idea of religion and A God was then created to instill fear. And the greatest way to control a man, is fear. God is fear. Even though to some of us. The idea of paradise and a God, doesn’t exist. When you die, two things could happen.
One: Absolutely Nothing
Two: You see, what you believe in. As believe is strength and strength is power.

You have no other country to claim by blood but Nigeria, deal with that

Lol.. do you even know how the name of the country you claim by blood came about? Do you even know your own personal family tree? Am pretty sure you're either a northerner or a muslim yoruba who have forgotten his history The same way kwara people forgot how they once had everything till they gave it all to the fulanis. this is not religious bigotry. it's just the truth of how fulanis used religion to dominate the state. And most of those that could die for Buhari are religiously aligned with him, instead of them to see things for what they are.

lol, Please, don't talk about protecting integrity with blood. You have no integrity to protect as a Nigerian, that's just the basic truth. we are like chickens that lay egg not for our benefit. All your hard work as nigerian is paying off to some wealthy family. so what integrity is there. open your eyes mate.

Nigeria is just a country filled with boys who still suck from their mothers and call themselves men. No action, Even when they are been robbed off their rights. imagine a country that's still borrowing money for economy and could still provide about #5 billion naira for its senators vehicle from an empty pocket.

Nigerians are simply puccies.
