The Osun State Governor, Gboyega Oyetola has unveiled wave city, the biggest greenhouse facility of its kind in the country, an agricultural real estate facility by Farmkonnect Nigeria.


The governor today unveiled the outstanding agribusiness facility at the project site located at Wasimi local government of Osun state.
The state governor who was represented by the state commissioner for agriculture, Mr. Adedayo Adewole lauded farmkonnect for bringing the agribusiness initiative to the state of Osun, confirming that the greenhouse facilities is one of its kind.


He said that the state is happy to have supported farmkonnect in making this a reality, adding that the establishment of the facility which is a confirmation to the governor promise to support and expand agriculture in the state, will help contribute immensely to the growth of the state’s economy, gainfully provide employment to the youths and also increase food security in Osun and other states within the southwest region and even beyond.
The founder, who doubles as a chief marketing officer of Farm konnect, retired naval commander, Azeez Oluwole explained that wave City is a network of Controlled Farming Agricultural facilities for the production of quality vegetables first for the local market and by extension the international market.


He said wave city which is Situated on a 5Million Square Meters farmland in Wasimi Area of Ayedire Local Government of Osun State, With over One Million Square Meters of greenhouses and net- houses which will run on pure hydroponic systems and other soil or soil-less farming technologies.


He disclosed that facility is planned to produce over 120,000 metric tonnes of fruits and leafy vegetables per annum, adding that the pivot product will not be limited tomatoes, chilies, peppers, garden eggs, cucumbers, lettuce., adding close to two thousand employment opportunities will also be provided when it becomes fully operational.
he said agriculture in recent time have gone pass the way it was practiced in the past, as prospective farmers can now have more yield and even earn huge with the use of smart technology, reiterating that wave city an Agricultural Real Estate will give prospective investors the level playing ground to collaborate towards large scale commercial agriculture, which would otherwise have been impossible for each of the individuals alone.


However, Mr. Azeez appreciated the present administration in the state of Osun led by Governor Gboyega Oyetola for his style of leadership and the massive support given to farmkonnect Nigeria in making Wave city a reality.
 In the same vein, he extended his gratitude to the state commissioner for agriculture, Mr. Adedayo Adewole for his open-door policy and his encouragement so far.
Also in attendance is Commissioner for youths and sports Hon Yemi Lawal appreciate farmkonnect for bringing this laudable project to Osun state which will create over 1000 jobs for the indigenes of the state.

The current state of the Nigerian economy, the high rate of poverty in the country and the pressure the youths have to go through in surviving each day has made Arosino conclude that music is why many Nigerians are not depressed.

Arosino, a famous musician, spoke with the press recently, about how Nigerian musicians have helped many youths stay happy and active through their lively songs, fun-filled and energetic music videos.

“Poverty is high in Nigeria, look at our economy, it’s growing at a very slow pace and everyone is struggling to make ends meet, but thank God for music”, says Arosino when asked about how he thinks music is keeping Nigerian youth together.

“To make it in Nigeria is not as easy as we all thought when we were much younger, adulthood has its challenges that Nigeria as a country isn’t helping. People who don’t have good financial support are many in Nigeria, they struggle every day to come outlook good, but deep inside of them, there’s sadness locked up while putting on fake smiles to cover it up”.

“What do you think would have happened if Nigerian musicians are not making happy, motivating, and even party songs? Many Nigerians would have been depressed because music keeps most people sane and active in this country”, the singer added.


Arosino also noted the government should applaud musicians for their direct and indirect contributions towards making Nigerians have stable mental health.

“I’m proud to say, Nigeria is blessed with incredible musicians of different genres, doing music to address different issues.

There are different songs to fit every situation, including songs that help people facing mental challenges to get better. The federal government needs to applaud us”, Arosino opined.

Arosino who has recently released amazing songs like ‘Rain’ and ‘Good Loving’ promised to keep feeding his fans with top-notch music that will stand the test of time.

The wait to see this movie is worth it after all.

Who would like this movie? The movie is for everyone. no age restrictions or parental guidance I guess. Thou it was played in Yoruba, it is subtitled in English for universal understanding.
