Nigerian crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky has reacted after a man claimed to get an ailment after drawing a tattoo of him.

The man claimed that a strange ailment took over him as a result of complications from the tattoo of Bobrisky he inked on his arm.

Recall, in March 2021, he tattooed Bobrisky’s face on his arm and expressed his love for the crossdresser.

Reacting to this, Bobrisky went live on Instagram to make it clear that he has no hand in whatever happens to the boy because he never forced anyone to make a tattoo of him.

Recalls Gistlover.com.ng earlier reported that a young fan of popular crossdresser, Bobrisky, who inked a tattoo of him has cried out for help online over a year after the viral act.

He revealed that he is suffering from a strange ailment as a result of complications from the tattoo of Bobrisky he drew on his arm.

The young man who looked really ill then burst into tears while making the appeal.

Famous Nigerian singer-songwriter, Temilade Openiyi, professionally known as Tems has revisited struggles. She revealed that there was a time in her life she stole food to survive.

Tems spoke while being interviewed by GQ magazine as she revealed that she used to visit an aunt to get food which she would then take home.

She stated this while recounting her past struggles, adding that she was very broke and hopeless during that period.

She said;

“There were times when I was not just broke; I was broke and hopeless. I used to steal food. I used to go to my aunty’s house just so she could give me food to take home.
“I just felt like, What is the point of me existing right now? You have to remember those times. Because that person does not exist anymore.”

A Kaduna-based journalist, John Femi Adi, has offered to donate his kidney to Senator Ike Ekweremadu’s ailing daughter, Sonia.
Adi, a former Secretary of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), in a Facebook post on Friday, September 16, expressed his intention to donate his kidney to Sonia.
He says he is obeying God’s instruction to love one’s neighbor by offering to give Sonia his kidney.

This comes after Sonia Chinonso Ekweremadu, one of the daughters of Senator Ike Ekweremadu, took to social media to publicly beg for a kidney donor.
The 25-year-old explained that she had to drop out of her postgraduate studies in 2019 because she was diagnosed with a rare kidney disease known as FSGS Nephrotic Syndrome.
According to Sonia, her family has battled to save her life and this led to her parents facing charges directly connected to her illness.
She then begged Nigerians to come to her aid.
“I, Sonia Ekweremadu, hereby appeal to the general public to come to my aid and save my life. I am appealing to anybody to whom it may please to assist me willingly with a kidney donation in the name of God.” She wrote in part.

Shortly after the 2013 blog went viral, I left the Country.
It was hard to do anything.
Biodun himself said if I told, my life would be destroyed. I believed him. Perhaps that belief propelled me down the aisle.
They say behind every anger is fear.
My seemingly great anger was laced with greater fear.
I knew life would not be the same again and I didn’t know what else to do.
Some friends turned on me, Mother said I was a seductress and wanted to bring the man of god, down.
I couldn’t imagine the shame the people who loved me felt but I can remember the silence.
I remember the shame, guilt and uncertainty that covered me like a blanket. What was I going to do with my destroyed life?
Get married. Start a family and focus there.
For someone who didn’t have marriage plans before that time, I suspected it was a wrong move but I figured I could handle it.
After marriage, I didn’t know how to integrate the new human that was suddenly my new family.
I saw him as a stranger. Kind of like how I perceived Father in Mother’s eyes. Father didn’t feel like her family which only confused the family that they built for me.
It was as though Mother and her children were the family and Father was the bringer of things…
It took a while to notice I had created the same dynamic in my own family. My kids felt like my family and their dad felt like the stranger that sleeps in the house sometimes.
Then there was the growing resentment toward the stranger. I don’t even remember why but I remember that there was always something hanging in my mind about him. Plus, when he did things that I thought were wrong, forgiveness was not an option.
I’d move out and start thinking of a divorce. It was as though if I got into the marriage to satisfy something but had no plans of building or working on it.
As my children came, my focus shifted more. I became a stay-at-home mum and did my best with keeping house matters and the little humans moving.
Anytime I complain about my partner, I hear, ‘go and work.’ Mother said he was going to leave my stay-at-home ass for a working woman one day. She said I’d soon be below his level (whatever that means)
As much as I tried to act like her talk didn’t bother me, the words haunted me many times when I’d be in the kitchen making a meal or when I’m up at 2am tending to a newborn.
The gossip blogs continued to drag the blog story wherever Ese Walter was mentioned, despite Ese Walter marrying husband and birthing babies.
The marriage wasn’t what I thought it would be. I was a single-married woman and if I complained, it was, ’at least you have your children to focus on.’
I didn’t get married to an adult man to now focus on small children.
I tried though. I focused on the little people, I learned about the early development of the brain, I learned about regulating one’s nervous system, I examined why I shout, why I doubt myself and how to manage my wounds so I don’t bleed on my children.
The marriage didn’t survive. It was actually dead from the start and finally went under. Sometimes I’d crawl back to make peace and try to be wife. I would decide not to check phones, don’t ask too many questions about why he wasn’t home or where he went….Just be a loving wife and ignore those inner longings and questions. But it was hard to pretend not to feel when I am familiar with my emotions and have been since I was little.
When I left the last time, it was with no money, no plans and three children.
Life was going to bury us or I was going to win…

Update on the Mrs. Amarachi Okechi, the widow that was publicly tortured in the Umueghu community of Abia state after she was branded a witch, has fully recovered and been discharged from the hospital.

It would be recalled that Mrs. Okechi was tied and flogged after her late husband’s brother’s wife accused her of being a witch.

The youths in Umueghu, Amaegbuato community, Nkpa Bende LGA, Abia State, tied her up publicly for two days, after which the grown men in the community took turns flogging her with five strokes each all over her body.



She was later rescued and taken to a hospital for treatment, according to the wife of the Abia State Governor.

In a recent development, human rights activist, Harrison Gwamnishu, shared a new photo and video of Mrs. Amarachi Okezie looking all glammed up after her recovery.

Harrison revealed that he has taken Mrs. Okechi to his place in Asaba as she cannot return to her home in Abia due to the trauma she experienced.

Embattled Internet fraudster, Ramon Abbas alias ‘Hushpuppi’, has appealed for a lighter prison sentence because he’s been dutiful throughout his detention.

He made the appeal to the United States Judge Otis Wright, as he called for justice to be tempered with mercy during his sentencing later this month, Peoples Gazette reports.

Hushpuppi who was arrested in 2020 over multimillion dollar fraud, said he had become a changed person after being rated as one of the best in terms of cleaning activities in the Correctional facility.

According to Peoples Gazette, Ramon’s record which includes part of his memorandum countering sentencing recommendations of prosecutors, showed that he performed well and related well with other inmates.

It was also learnt that his report card for Central Valley workshop for prisoners showed he put up “very good” in attitude, quality of work, dependability and productivity between July 2021 when he enrolled and November 2021 when he completed work.

“He is currently working within his prison cleaning windows and showers—for which he has received great personal evaluations,” his counsel, Louis Shapiro wrote in the memorandum submitted on September 5.

Prosecution and defence have been arguing over the appropriate sentencing for Abbas, who was first arrested in Dubai in June 2020 and summarily transferred to the prison in the U.S. as his trial continued.

While the prosecution team led by assistant U.S. attorney Khaldoun Shobaki demanded 11 years in prison and $2.2 million in restitution and fines, Hushpuppi’s lawyer said his client had become a changed person in prison and should be handed a lighter sentence of about two years in prison.

Shapiro also said Abbas has three children, who are minors, in London, United State and Dubai to care for, as well as his ailing parents in Nigeria.

The judge is scheduled to hear the sentencing arguments of the prosecution and defence on September 21 before delivering his final judgement in the matter.

The court’s Director of Media Relations, Thom Mrozek, made this known on Friday in response to an email inquiry by Channels Television.

Since Hushpuppi’s conviction last year for alleged $1.1m fraud, the court has moved his sentence date at least three times. Hushpuppi was initially scheduled for sentencing on February 14 but it was moved to July 11 before it was against postponed for September 21 this year.

Asked exactly when 39-year-old Hushpuppi would be sentenced by the court, Mrozek said the suspect had long pleaded guilty last year and would be sentenced later this year. “Mr. Abbas is currently scheduled to be sentenced by a federal judge in Los Angeles on September 21,” he said.

3. Lola Margaret:

In 2017, the Yoruba Nollywood actress, film producer and director, got arrested in the USA for wired fraud.

Lola reportedly had suspicious sums of money deposited into her bank account and repeatedly withdrew the money, which attracted detectives’ attention.

Magret was released and deported back to Nigeria in 2018. Considering the gravity of her actions, the actress decided to relocate to Ibadan from Lagos, maintaining a low profile.

4. Uche Odoputa:

In 2007, the actor and movie producer was arrested at the international airport in Lagos, for ingesting 1.336kg of cocaine and sentenced to eight months in prison.

Giving reasons for his action, Uche said he was not getting any substantial movie roles, and could not afford to feed himself and his family.

5. Naira Marley: In May 2019, Naira Marley was arrested by men of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over internet fraud.

The arrest happened a day after his hit single ‘Am I a Yahoo boy’ dropped online. He was slammed with 11- count charges.

After spending days inside Ikoyi Prison, Naira Marley was arraigned in court and granted bail for N2 million with two sureties in like sum.

Chelsea football club has today appointed ex Brighton manager as the man that will replace Thomas Tuchel as the manager of the London club.

Chelsea Football Club has today parted company with Head Coach Thomas Tuchel. The report from the club official website read.

On behalf of everyone at Chelsea FC, the Club would like to place on record its gratitude to Thomas and his staff for all their efforts during their time with the Club. Thomas will rightly have a place in Chelsea’s history after winning the Champions League, the Super Cup and Club World Cup in his time here.
As the new ownership group reaches 100 days since taking over the Club, and as it continues its hard work to take the club forward, the new owners believe it is the right time to make this transition.
Chelsea’s coaching staff will take charge of the team for training and the preparation of our upcoming matches as the Club moves swiftly to appoint a new head coach.
There will be no further comment until a new head coach appointment is made.
