You must be irredeemably f oolish to come here and be asking s tupid questions. You must think this is romance section.

Instead of making a fo ool of yourself, why not use Google to read up about the project - its history and funding and whatnot.

You are dim wit for asking what the minimum wage is? Lol... How old are you? 12? If your frontal lobe is underdeveloped, why not just read and move on, instead of forcing some kindergarten level arguments?

Son, you come here to argue with facts and figures, not to ask silly questions as your own myopic way of banter and public discuss.

Get the f out of here, mf! You coksocker!
Your comment clearly reeks of childishness, all I did was ask simple questions n you are here ranting like a dog on heat. Dumb heads will just come hear and spew trash cos you know how to type ? You think it’s all about typing ? You have to make sense of anything you type kiddo cos nairaland is a place filled with knowledgeable persons. Although we have dumb heads like you as well….For your info I don’t argue with intellectual green horns like you cos it’s a disservice to me. Only attention I give to olodos like you is ask questions that will knock your dumb head off balance and that’s exactly what happened to you….

Bunch of jokers. Nigeria really spoilt her people silly with subsidies; so much they are tuned out of reality.

It's only in Nigeria that people wants all the solid infrastructures and the goodies that comes with it without paying a dime. Even tax, most don't pay. Before the fuel subsidy was removed, most were moving about with the faux reality that they are rich and earning enough. The removal shattered that reality completely. And na them dey say rubbish the previous years about the government not doing anything for them.

Fuel and dollar subsidy was removed everyone started crying.

Without toll, how do people expect the project to come to reality? The funniest thing is that most people championing this narrative have traveled outside the country and seen how infrastructure work in "sane climes".

Another issue is illiteracy. Many don't even understand the project, its importance, and what it stands to offer us all regard savings on travelling expenses, economic boost, and repping the nation on the global stage.

The costal highway will reduce the travel time from Lagos to Ilaje, Ondo State to just 45 minutes (that's just for one out of the many lanes that will cut across the South West, South East, and South South). Anyone who thinks the #3k toll gate is too expensive should use the alternative routes. It's that simple. Moreover, the minister Umahi said the 3k is just the average, meaning small vehicles could pay like 1.5k and heavy duty trucks pay 5k. So wtf is the buzz all about?

Like I've said, the country pampered the people too much with subsidizations. Too much.

You all complain of a simple toll on the greatest infrastructural development this nation has ever seen but will pay through your noses by acquiring loans and selling generational properties just to get visa to the "saner climes". You will get there to become 4th class citizens and pay through your noses all the days of your lives to their governments in form of taxes, bills, etc - literally slaving away daily so you don't get thrown out of your houses.

People think a 700km costal highway is one of those roads within their housing estates. A super highway that will have a train lane in the middle for that matter. Una never ready.
In all of this rubbish you just posted I have two questions to ask you
1… whose money are they using to build this so called super highway?
2… How much is the minimum wage in this so called countries that pay so much bills n taxes compared to Nigeria?….

People just emotionally blow it out of proportion. There was never a time where they said they would demolish all his property along that axis. If you have the proof, bring that.
Oga keep quiet , it was very clear from the tone of the letter sent to him from lasg. They told him to vacate the entire premises within 7 days cos his property was in the right of way of the road project…

Isn’t it possible to connect or build a road that will link the south east from the coastal road ? Perhaps from in-between delta n rivers?

I want to be able to drive from Lagos to the East on the Coastal road without having to go through Benin and others.

That’s what I want.

Expecting Tinubu and his gang of criminals to do a project without chopping inside is like expecting a lion not to eat the goat placed under its care; and that would be the height of foolery.
Please explain how the coastal road would help you drive from Lagos to the east directly. I thought the road only connects sw n ss

US owes china staggering amount of money 859.4 billion dollars.

US owes other countries as well.

Total US debt is 34 Trillion Dollars.

Countries don't owe like individuals. If I owe you 100 naira for instance and you you are to.pay me 500 naira, you will end up paying me 400 naira because you would gave deducted your the 100 naira owes to you.

Countries don't operate that way.

America owes no country a dime…..
What a lot of ppl call debt is actually called US TREASURY…. It’s kinda like a bond or shares. America being stupendously rich and having a unique economy allows qualified countries to invest in their economy. This is how china, Japan Canada etc were able to invest in the American economy and then America is said to be indebted to those countries, Not that America borrowed any money from those countries. America did those countries a Favour by allowing them invest in their economy.

The funny thing is that, the present day is Israel is not even the same Israel in the Bible.
