The IELTS speaking component is freaking subjective AF! The guy who interviewed me must be some crackk..head nuii.sance, how else do you explain the ret.aard scoring me 6.5 in speaking The point here is this, if you are fortunate enough to have your speaking test conducted by a white person you'd prob'ly score better than when these Nigerian examiners score you. If they didn't score me 7.0 overall band score, them for sabi better crase for that IELTS office, I would have given them a damn dressing down before i ask for a remark of the speaking part after taking the PTE test. Awon Oloriburuku IELTS.

I am gonna say it here, any academically average Nigerian who scores below 7.0 in speaking should be flogged <----- At least, that was my earlier position before that jerr.k scored me 6.5 in speaking. For the records, here is my IELTS test report; LISTENING- 7.0 READING-8.0 WRITING-7.0 SPEAKING-6.5, OVERALL BAND SCORE-7.0. I needed 6.5 on all components tho for the programme.

Lol you might meet the girl if its the same fair I attended in abuja.she's really a fun person and she was so proud of Bond I think she's a student.she said something like Bond university is a private school and that all money goes to the school.that's one of the factors why its expensive.UC is my second choice that's why I attend their invitation. But its RMIT uni that's my first choice, they are soooo slow chai!!!I never see.

Ooh, RMIT, That's excellent ma'am! A top rated institution. I presume the slow response to your application must be attributed to the volume of applications such Universities receive annually. UC tight too but as for me, i think Goldcoast is just where ma mental compass bn pointing to all year long n I wanna take a shot at bn a Bondie lol that's what their students r called. On a second thought, RMIT still a worthy place to consider for me too if the Goldcoast adrenaline in ma system drops a notch tho. Lol.

LMAO!!!who is in Bond university?the representative from that school is just too funny.I attended one euducation fair.canberra uni invited me.after discussing with uc,I was like let me check out bond university stand.some corpers were asking the bond representative questions about she was oh,this person attended our school, the owner of ferrari attended our school too.so it came to fees.she was like this course is so so amount.one of the corpers was like please convert it to naira.the representative picked up her caculator.she was like 8million for a course the way the corpers shouted EH!she was like what, that she does not know about Nigerian currency.A nigerian representative came to help her.what I like was the way she represented the school,in a fun way.even though the fees is expensive lols

Lol. Still seriously considering Bond for another Masters Programme tho. They run a trimester system just like that of The US. I would be at an Edufair session tomorrow at Ekó Hotel here in Lagos. Gonna be meeting the Representative of the Institution too. The school is located in Goldcoast, that is the city I wanna stay just cuz of the BeachSide life places like Surfers Paradise offers and the multicultural setting of queensland. See ehn...I'm outta Naija in Spirit already ooooo. I believe Bond gonna be a great experience tho but I tell you fo' Real, the school fees is damn EXPENSIVE! Maybe the fact that they got the lowest Lecturer-Student ratio (1:10) in Australia could just be one of ma core reasons of choosing bond over other Universities.

Lol @ corpers who shouted "EH". Lol. Bond, during ma research was summarily termed an "Elitist" institution by most students in Australia, now tell me why the average Naija peep won't scream "Choooooi".

Ok, Fine.
Do u know the Sultan of Sokoto?
He is a Muslim ruler and by virtue of his Ancestral Heritage- the Head of all Muslims in Nigeria. The position of a monarch in the pre-colonial era wielded higher influence and authority which has diminished over time in the post-Colonial era.

The absolute power over life and death once at the dispose of these monarchs ain't existing anymore but the TRADITIONS of the PEOPLE Must be held in TRUST by a CUSTODIAN, the CUSTODIANS of these traditions are the Traditional Rulers, the functions they perform can NEVER be performed by any GOVERNMENT DEMOCRATICALLY Elected official, be it the President, the Governor or Local Government Chairmen of their Jurisdictions.

Even OBJ for all his presidential powers remained a core traditional title holder in his Owu Egba domain as a BALOGUN. Maitama Sule, one of the few living men of the pre-Colonial Nigeria is still a high ranking traditional title holder in the City of Kano till date.

We may forgo some things in Life, not the very basis of our own cultural heritage, our customs and Tradition bequeathed us by our forebears! The relinquishing of our customs and tradition owing to "Change" in times doesn't only smirk of irresponsibility but also an indication of total willingness to lose our core values to foster an existence of people without roots and Culture.

Have u ever asked yourself why the Brits are yet to do away with their monarchy? It is simply because, it is their common source of pride wherever they go. In United Kingdom, people complain so much about Prince Charles as being a leech, who does nothing only to be feeding on tax payers money. Same goes for Andrew who receives regular press bashings for his incessant charter of private jets with Tax payers money and the rest of the Royals over there receives same insults on a daily basis by the "anti-monarchy elements but ask them in United Kingdom. "ARE THEY READY TO ABOLISH THE MONARCHY" The answer U'd get is a resounding NO!

Let's hold dear that which we still have left of our cultural heritage, The Oba, King Erediauwa is a core figure in the History of Nigeria as a Custodian of the great Benin Empire which once held sway in this present day Nigeria and extends far as to some West African Nations in its prime.

Wow! What an excellent write up!
