Please, house, I have an important question to ask.

I was contacted by a hospital in the UK for a job as a laboratory officer. They even linked me to the British embassy which has been sending me mails.

The embassy asked my employer in the UK to pay a visa reg fee of 1350 pounds for me and they paid and sent me the payslip to sent to the embassy.
The embassy now asked me to pay for a BTA of 500 pounds in naira through my Nigerian account and the money ll be issued to me through a travellers cheque when I come for my visa appointment.

They said they won't give me an appointment until I pay the money into their account.
I complained to my employer in the UK, but he sent me mail saying payment of BTA is my responsibility.
I don't know whether all these are genuine cos how can they waste 1350 pounds just like that? Please someone should advise me appropriately. No insults, pls.

Bro otilo, dont send them any money because it's a scam later they will request you to pay some certain amount into one account blabla.

Japa for your life embassy will not request any money from anyone. Follow the procedure in getting your cos then applying and paying your visa fees, book appointment with TLS and wait for the decision of your visa

Please I have a question ,

I got cos from a Temporary Worker in July, applied for visa at TLS VI in September 2022, I also did my biometric same day.

I was called for an interview in November 2022.
My problem now is that I'm yet to receive my visa since September till now .
UK embassy keeps saying that the application is awaiting decision .
And the COS will expire this April.

Has anyone experienced this before
What would likely happen to my application now
Please I need an urgent response

When did you collect the cos and applied for the Visa. Cos is valid for 4 months, seems you applied January ending or there about. Have you sent paid email once If not so send them paid email to them.

Attached is the response I received after sending the second paid mail

They have escalated it and you will receive an email from the escalation team in sheffield. By next week you should receive the decision. Most times when there's so much delays, means they are not clear with somethings about the application and the might request for an additional document or explaination on something or give you the visa.

Just be hopeful.

Congratulations your visa has been approved. If it was denial they would have sent you an email to that.
By tomorrow you should get a new mail.

Reply the email they sent you and tell them you are still waiting for their response. They will escalate it for you and within 7 days you will receive a reply either with additional documents or visa approval. They replied my wife for additional document / explaination because since Feb 8 they just sent NSF mail without additional document requested.

So after sending paid mail twice and replying to the email they said they would escalate it and got a reply yesterday.

I believe people that applied late January and early February are in this Shoes seems most of they staffs went on leave so they abdoned the application. All March applicant have gotten replies.

So be prepared to for your Visa or additional documents requested that's after the staffs must be escalated it.

I'm not judging but if I'm to go by ur write-up and what I could get from the internet regarding this issue, I'll say the fault is actually from his end.

The truth is that, even if u repair the tv and the underlying problem is still there ( from his end ), then he'll surely come back with the same complain.

I'll suggest the buyer should calm down ( if he's seeing this ). He should take ur option and call his technicians to figure where the problem is coming from.

The question is why is he always buying tv up and down?? He should recheck the wiring of his inverter or better still save up money and get brand new TV.

I dont agree with this. I didnt upload fake document and I have been encountering issue with Naric. My Undergraduate transcript was sent directly via email from my institution and they find fault. According to them, edges of the document is not visible enough. Edges oo!, every grades and course per year are clear and they insist on not proceeding till another one is sent. But the Institution is using veto power as well, claiming nothing was wrong with the transcript they sent.
Been on it back and forth for more than a month now. I guess people that paid for fast track are luckier compare to we that paid for standard.

Make a new application ask for refund of the old application. For new application try use 48hours fast track and you are good to go. These days anything UK requires you to spend more money to get what you want.
