About the Company: Our Client is the founder and CEO of a high-end Asian fusion Restaurant, Short-let Apartment among other businesses within the hospitality and real estate sectors in Benin City, Edo State.

About the Role: The Executive Assistant will provide high-level administrative support to the CEO, and also help in managing calendars, making travel arrangements and preparing expense reports. The Executive Assistant needs to be resourceful, innovative, proactive and must be able to think independently to make decisions under pressure. To be successful in this role, you should be well-organized, have great time management skill, be able to act with minimum supervision. support.

Summary of Responsibilities:
• Conduct research on various topics, prepare reports, and present findings to the CEO.
• Draft and edit correspondence, presentations, and other communications as required.
• Manage special projects, including planning and coordinating events and initiatives.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and other departments.
• Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner.
• Manage executives’ calendars and set up meetings
• Make travel and accommodation arrangements
• Rack daily expenses and prepare weekly, monthly or quarterly reports
• Oversee the performance of other clerical staff
• Act as an office manager by keeping up with office supply inventory
• Take minutes during meetings.
• Screen and direct phone calls and distribute correspondence
• Organize and maintain the office filing system

Requirements and skills
• At least 1year prior experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant
• HND or University Degree in any field
• Must have Completed NYSC
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills
• Familiarity with office tools
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills

While priority will be given to candidates who reside in Benin City, candidates willing to relocate to Benin at their own cost post hire will also be considered.

The Role


We are looking for a personable, organized and self-motivated individual for the role of Office administrator to provide administrative support to our teams.
This role will also be responsible for keeping the office running as well as working with our HR team on HR projects.
Oversees general office operations and gives reports to the management
Coordinates appointments and schedules and manages staff calendars
Manages filing systems and office supplies, maintains IT infrastructure, and keeps inventory of orders
Oversees staff interactions and responds to their queries on office management issues
Monitors office management and designs innovative work systems
Works with the Human Resources team to update office policies and onboard new hires

Plans all in-house or off-site activities of the organization

Ability to use MS Office tools especially Excel & PowerPoint will be added advantage

1. She got married to GEJ, to be his wife and mother of his kids. Educational qualification was not one of his requirements! Fate,goodluck,patience and fortune brought them to the throne, you cant suddenly ask GEJ to dump her cos of the image of Nigeria!

2. The simple solution to this in my opinion is to get her an interpreter when she goes outside the country to make any speech or when she has to make a speech to international audience. She can even speak pidgin to us, as long as she communicates without all the wahala.lol

3. there are world leaders who cannot speak English very well, and when they have to make speeches, interpreters are used irrespective of which country they are in. UN meetings is a case in point.

4. Its the way it is, we dont like it but unless the office of the first lady is redefined or scrapped, first ladies will come who cannot speak english, will not be presentable or have the politically correct image we wish for. deal with it!

5. Otherwise,lets vote Buhari and we wont need the office of the first lady. !lol
