For the Judiciary, the most senior was appointed the CJN.

You can't blame our president for the Legislative choosing their candidates.

Leave the issue of Religion aside, and let us see the good that can come out of the candidates.
I am not Pro any party, but this issue of religion and tribe has become absurd, and if we the youths who are supposed to be the hope for a good Nigeria are thinking along the same lines, nothing will ever get better.

The Ohanaeze Ndigbo has called on Ndigbo to reactivate its local defence outfits in readiness against alleged threats by Miyetti Allah to invade the Southeast.

The group, in a communiqué by the President- General, Nnia Nwodo, said: “Ohanaeze Ndigbo has noted the assertion and denial of Miyetti Allah that the Southeast will soon boil. We are waiting for them.”

It directed Ndigbo to be vigilant and await “our next directives after consultations with our political and religious leaders, legislators, traditional rulers, town unions and affiliate organisations”.

The group frowned at “ongoing negotiations between the Federal Government and Miyetti Allah to give them a grant of N100 billion and queried: “Why these gun trotting militants are protected financially and insulated from criminal prosecution, while IPOB, an armless group of Igbo, is proscribed and categorised as dangerous to national security, bugs our imagination”.

The North-East Youth Wing of the All Progressive Congress (APC) has raised concerns about the “crass and ghetto mentality” of Adams Oshiohmole, the National Chairman of the party.

In a statement issued on Thursday by Abubakar Maigari, the secretary of the organisation, the youth wing said this behaviour could collapse the party.

They pointed out that the threat by Oshiomhole and Bola Tinubu, National Leader of the APC, to send away members of the National Assembly who opposed the imposition agenda is "appalling".

The APC Zonal Youth, Abuja chapter, noted that the leadership of the duo of Tinubu and Oshiomhole has created confusion and eventual loss of some states to the opposition in the 2019 elections.

The statement read: “Several members of the ruling party have been lost to the opposition since Oshiomhole became APC National Chairman on June 23, 2018, yet, the looming 9th National Assembly leadership election crisis may threaten the corporate existence of the ruling party.

On Tuesday, President Trump hosted Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey in the Oval Office for a closed-door meeting, during which the leader of the free world spent an inordinate amount of time complaining about lost Twitter followers, according to a source familiar with the conversation.

The Twitter chief, for his part, tried to reassure the president that the company’s staff merely wants his follower count to be as bot-free as possible.

A large percentage of the meeting, which included senior White House officials such as Trump’s social media director Dan Scavino, was spent addressing the subject of @realDonaldTrump’s follower count. The president stated his belief that he had lost some of his roughly 59 million followers in anti-Trump, anti-conservative Twitter purges, according to a source familiar with the meeting.

Dorsey, according to this knowledgeable source, had to explain to the president that like other Twitter users, @realDonaldTrump periodically loses followers when the site deletes fake or bot accounts. Dorsey even said he himself had lost followers as a result of Twitter’s efforts to delete fake accounts.

During this private gathering in the West Wing, Dorsey assured Trump that the company wants him, and everyone else on Twitter, to have only real followers, according to the source.

Trump also said he’s heard from other prominent conservatives about problems with Twitter, though he declined to name names.

“Trump has repeatedly griped to associates about how Obama has had more Twitter followers than he has, even though—by Trump’s own assessment—he is so much better at Twitter than Obama is.”

Muhamadu Buhari swore on oath and delivered affidavit to INEC claiming he attended Elementary School Daura and Mai Aduaa between 1948 and 1952. Now, Atiku informs the court that those schools were not in existence between 1948 and 1952 and therefore Muhamadu Buhari could not have attended either school. That’s a serious charge sounding in perjury punishable by 14 years imprisonment under the Penal Code, besides being punishable under the 1999 Constitution, if proved, by immediate disqualification with consequent voiding of all votes cast for Muhamadu Buhari at last month’s presidential
election, because a disqualified candidate is not entitled to be credited with any vote.

Muhammadu Buhari swore on oath that he attended Middle School Katsina between 1953 and 1956. But now Atiku deposes on court papers at the Election Tribunal that the middle school was also not in existence as at 1953 and up till 1956. This charge squarely makes out a case of serial forgery, if proved by archival materials in the possession of Atiku.

Finally, Muhammadu Buhari swore on oath he attended Katsina Provincial College between 1956 and 1961, which Atiku disclaims by asserting contrarily that the Katsina provinicial college was not built, founded, operational or even in existence between 1956 and 1961. If Atiku proves this serial fraud with conclusive evidence, Muhamadu Buhari will have no answer in rebuttal than throw in the towel and plead for leniency.
