Good morning guys. I've searched for Bureau de change (BDCs) in Ilorin online but I didn't get any contact or location where I can go and change USD to naira. If you know any BDC or someone I can call, I will appreciate if you can direct me to them. Thank you for your response! |

gentlesil: Payoneer charges 2% per withdrawal but at the end of the it's still better than the 360 / $ rate from bank. You can get about 450 - 470 / $ with BDC. |

gentlesil: Create Payoneer and add it to your Upwork. Send the form from Payoneer to your dorm account. Go to bank and withdraw your USD then look for a BDC and exchange it for a higher rate. 1 Like |

Coolabbie: Oops, I don't have Payoneer card. I'll just stick with my other method for now. |

Coolabbie: The verification is something else. I'm tired of turning my head around already. However, how do you link your Payoneer to the app? Do you need to have a Payoneer card? |

Coolabbie: Thanks for the information. It's their rate for me. Kuda bank is easy and fast but the rate is just 370-372 there about. I'll try it and see what rate they'll give me. |

Hello guys, I trust you're all doing good. Please I have a quick question for Upwork freelancers. Do you think it's better to focus on a particular niche as a new seller on Upwork or be a general writer until you can find a niche that has the most sales? I realized that setting my profile as "science and medical writer" seems to be limiting the type of jobs they are suggesting to me. So, I'm thinking if I should just go for a "general writer" profile to be able to send proposals for more jobs. I will appreciate your suggestions. Thank you! |

fitz101: Amen, thank you. I'm glad I could help. It's just so unfortunate that the exchange rate is low compared to what you could have gotten from exchangers. However, you have peace of mind knowing that your money is safe. |

Hello everyone. Please I'm in need of an affordable accommodation in Ilorin. Preferably, a single room self-con between 70k to 90k. I am a freelancer and I work online. What I need is a place with good network and regular power supply (minimum of 6 - 12 hours). I was at Ilorin this last December and I was shown houses around Adewole, Agric, Agbooba, but the problem is that most of those houses were too old and expensive for their price. I received unwelcoming look from some agents who were trying to know what exactly I do for a living so I also want to avoid places where they'll start looking at me like an internet fraudster. Some people suggested I look for houses around Ganmo/Amoyo axis that there is steady electricity there. I am also thinking of Tanke since it's close to UniLorin and I believe there should be houses there and since it's a student area, less people would try to pry into my private life. I don't live in Ilorin so I need reliable information or agent that will show me what I need so that I can just travel down and inspect the house and pay. In case you didn't read the long thing I wrote up there, this is the summary; I am a freelancer and I need accommodation in Ilorin. I need steady power supply at least 6 - 12 hours everyday. My budget is between 70k - 90k. Thank you all in advance for your responses... |

Good afternoon here. Has anyone tried to withdraw from payoneer to their regular bank account recently? I tried to do that and UBA created another account for me automatically where the fund was deposited. I went to the bank to complain and they told me it's because of CBN's new policy. That Naira accounts can only receive Naira and to receive USD i must have USD account. I'll still have to go back to the bank this week to update the new account that was created automatically before I can withdraw my money. Just this week, I also found out that Kuda bank allows you to connect directly to Payoneer and you can even withdraw at anytime and I tried withdrawing as little as $5 in the evening on Saturday and I was credited in less than 2 minutes. However, the rate of both Kuda bank and regular bank account is lesser than what you may get from exchangers here. But those of us that don't have "MAP" option on Payoneer will have to stick to this method to get our money out. Happy Sunday to y'all. 4 Likes |

Good morning my good people. Please I need help here. I sent money from Payoneer to my bank account last week Wednesday, 25th November, and up till this moment, the money has not entered my bank account. The mail they sent to me is that it would be deposited within 2 business days. Has anyone experienced such a delay before? Is it normal? Should I contact Payoneer or my bank customer care? Thank you! |
