Politics / The Fifty Year Old Beast by Chandeliers: 11:55pm On Jun 26, 2017
1967 and 2017 are exactly fifty (50) years apart from each other. In the case of Nigeria, a beast of inexorability and moral depravity born with the civil war has since thrived and is still being fed with hatred, selfishness and series of provocations…
Lately, sleeping hostilities are being awakened, tensions are gradually rising, ultimatums are being given, issued threats are on the brink of execution; all pointing to the same direction, war.
The question now is; can Nigeria survive another war? , having lost millions of lives in a two-and-a-half-year war fought at a period when weapons were still unsophisticated. It is only better imagined what would be lost just for the purpose of secession.
It is easier for a broomstick to be broken than the broom itself; this is just an illustration of the many glaring truths which we have all failed to acknowledge, the earlier we accept them, the better for us… my ‘fifty kobo’.

Hey guys... I'm still kinda confused about this whole stuff... I've not gotten any mail since my interview session with TM (though I sent an inquiry mail and there was no reply)... Is it possible that regret mails are usually not being sent after TM interview... Or I should keep the little hope I still have alive?...thanks

The interview in Ibadan is going to be two....when u pass d first panel interview, you will move on to the 'one -on-one interview '. So basically at Ibadan, the interview is two. And it will be held same day. When u pass the panel, u will b asked to wait for the one on one. And if otherwise, u will b asked to go.

The interview entails normal questions. Pls try to remember what u did in your school project, u might be asked. Put in your best. Bear in mind of any leadership role u have once attained. Questions like, why should I hire u? Why saro? Tell me what u know about us, your weakness and strength? What motivates u? Your 5years goals? What new idea will u bring to the company if i hire u? And stay abreast of recent news in nigeria particularly relating to Agriculture and the Nigeria's economy.

Saro is made up of intelligent people and the interviewers are quite intelligent. Put in your best and have a cheerful disposition. I wish u all d best.

Please have u been contacted since the interview...

For those of us that have before hand attended the oral interview... I contacted HR and she replied I should disregard the new mail...
For those yet to be interviewed orally, it's no big deal...defend your degree...answer directly...and don't fret...it's not tense
