GeneralDae: Lol... you guys do not waist a second to pull the "size card" in any discussions. This is not about size my bro. Far more bigger and wealthier nations than nigeria have descended into anarchy. Trust me... it is never my intention to denigrate nigeria because of its issues, I will never do that. But tell me, when in the history of nigeria has the extreme forms of insecurity, youth umemployment, high cost of living, kidnapping, banditory, highway robbery, high inflation, looting all occurring at the same time. In the past all these issues occur one after the other and they existed in lesser magnitude conpared to now. You can correct me if I am wrong. I just pray our (Ghana and Nigeria) leaders are guided to make the best decisions that serve the interest of the ordinary man. Peace 1 Like 1 Share |

IGpro1: Individual Ghanaians; whether pastor, a doctor, or whoever will always have an opinion on any topic. You as an individual nigerian have your own opinion about Ghana or any vountry for that matter. There are lots of videos I have seen where both ordinary and prominent nigerians including youtubers express their opinions about Ghana, both good and bad. Because one ordinary Ghanaian pastor-whom I doubt will even make it to top 100 Ghanaians pastors- has shared his opinion; you are here making a big deal out of it. You nigerians are very sensitive oo. You got to chill... We are brothers. |

POKUASI2: Come on man.. Your country is currently undergoing a serious economic meltdown, coupled with massive youth unemployment, insecurity, no electricity, theft and rampant looting of goods. Whilst Ghanaians are fervently praying it doesn't degenerate into something beyong our control, this is what you could write about Ghana. And for one to think you are typing this hate speech towards Ghanaians from your comfortable residence in Ghana is so bizzare. Any way keep it up. I never expected anything better from you people. Did you say "shoe shine Ghanaians"... oboy this is not 80s oo. Ghana level don change abeg. You guys just can't come to terms with this fact, but hey learn to accept it. |

popizaino: I can't wait ooo my bro. The mismatch between kiosks, slums, container shops and those uncompleted buildings in Ghana irritates me to death. I can't wait to visit Nigeria. I mean if you guys have been able to build cities and neighbourhoods that is not littered all over by those aesthetics-destroying, shabbily-built and ugly-looking structures, I must commend you guys. You guys are doing a great job. |

popizaino: @bolded. Exactly how Ghanaians also see Nigerians. We feel you guys are boastful and too arrogant with very little to show for. I interact with a lot of Nigerians physically on a daily basis, and I have seen majority of them exhibit this attitude. Anyway as youth, I think we should learn to accept one another both the good and the bad. @2nd bolded. I will most likely go by air. Of course, she has told me a lot about nigeria, some nice and some not so pleasant. It will not be fair to compare kano to tamale. Kano is an ancient city. Tamale became a capital just few years before our independence....so. |

popizaino: You got this one wrong, that facebook account- TimBia Gh is not actually a Ghanaian, he is a Nigeria national promoting his page, he most likely lives in Ghana but is a Nigeria. You see why you don't take anything at face value especially on the internet. All these things add to you hating on a country and its people for no real reason. With time it will grow into some sort of a monster, and then later confirmation bias sets in where you begin to meet certain Ghanaians whose attitude confirms whatever notion you already have about Ghanaians and Ghana. The n the cycle continues. Take care... |

popizaino: I can't wait to visit Nigeria some day. As I speak my mom is in Kano doing business. She buys from Ghana and sell in Kano and buys from Kano and lagos and sell in Ghana. My only visit to nigeria happened when I was like 7 years old. My uncle used to live in lagos. I have lost most of my memories of my short stay in lagos. But one thing I will never forget is party lol. It was like every day we were going to one party or the other in lagos 😂😂. Even when I came back I was still crying- party!! party!! when I was being prepared for school 😂😂. May be I'll have to experience nigeria (lagos, kano, abuja, ph, etc) again to be able to pass a fair judgement. Then again its not right to denegrate an entire nation like Ghana, I am not sure its you I quoted the last time, but if its you kindly retract, its not right. |

Appisko: Its 2024 change this your line of reasoning, Its so outdated. If you had met some of us anywhere within Ghana, saying some of the things we say here, criticising Ghana and its leaders, would you still hold the view that we are nigerians pretending to be Ghanaians. If Ghanaians don't criticise Ghana, who else will? |
Politics / Re: Kenyans Are Far Behind Nigerians In Every Aspect – Fani-Kayode by ChaosMagus: 1:20pm On Feb 02 |
popizaino: I know you are a proud citizen of "giant" Nigeria. You are ready to fight these "bloody" Ghanaians anyday to defend your country online but please .... come on mehn. My Ghanaian brother showed what his country has; situated far up north- a grassland area currently facing the devastating effect of desertification and you suddenly started trolling Ghanaian architects. Now prove your giant status that we all know you to be and you show this-rayfield come on mehn. At least if you want to show us the Nigerian version, please show us something similar and aestheitically pleasing to the eye or something far better. This Rayfield resort is super ugly and you know it. The one in Ghana is not very beautiful in my view, but this is a no no for me. Chaaalei, did you see those rusted roofs. |

mdntiri: I honestly don't know when he made that decision to contest for the presidency, but I think he should have taken certain steps that could have given him that credibility he needed to earn the support of the people mostly importantly the youth. He made quite a few mistakes-such as -taking a foreigner (a Belgian slay queen) as his spokesperson is a no no for most Ghanaians. -not been very open and straight forward about his source of wealth (today it is this, tomorrow it is that), - not coming down to the level of the ordinary Ghanaian( too flashy), -his dressing is too extravagant for the average Ghanaian politician, -his "saviour" mentality is also not going to help him, -no clear communication about his core policies and what he can do; Ghanaians have outgown that style of policy communication where you just come and say "I will provide more jobs or "I will build more schools", especially when you have no track record of doing so as a politician. He should rather be providing practical steps as to how he is going to go about building more schools without, for example over spending the budget. -he doesnt seem to have a real understanding of Ghana's problems and the practical steps he will taken to lead us out of it. -his "man-behind-the-mask" strategy is dead on arrival. -Correct me if I am wrong but his real estates are expensively priced in dollars (the same problem that got us where we are) another red flag. All the aforementioned in my opinion are going to affect his ability to pull that much needed momentum to make any meaningful imoact in the election. As to how he will perform when given the nod, I will just for the benefit of the doubt assume he will do well. 1 Like |

AskiaHarem: Kindly explain these points further when you say "1) Over 60% of its local wealth and budget..., 2) ...not to mention contributing the most money ..." Does the number 2 form part of the number 1 I listed above or its a different contribution. By your estimation how much or what percentage do you think Ghana contributes? I know for sure Nigeria and Ghana make the most contribution? And I believe Nigeria will contribute more than Ghana, I just want facts. |

mdntiri: Tell them... the days of suffering, while we put up a smiling face as if nothing is wrong is long gone. If they tell you the rot at GFA, cocobod, tor etc you will think saaa you will not understand. We dont have a brt system, no need pretending. The metro mass transit we run doesn't even have a terminal. Buses are bought, they work for few year, they break down due to lack of maintenance, we leave them to rot and buy a new one and repeat the cycle. My friend in the fire service basketball team went to togo, to play a match and he was amazed by the basketball facilities there. That Togo oo, just here noor. Look if we dont wake up and demand accountability from these leaders we wont get anywhere. I know most of the countries here have ten times our problems, but if they refuse to talk about theirs and decide to talk about ours, that's their problem, let them continue. Their story is not our story. Lets focus on ourselves and discuss solution that can change the lot of our motherland. Ideas ideas ideas are the seeds of any great endeavour. For all you know our leaders are short of ideas and you might not know who will be reading these in the near future... 1 Like |

Appisko: Preko ba... are those countries your standard now. Your country had a development plan, when all these other countries when still under colonization. You had a well known functioning film and arts school and movie industry, when others were going through a civil war. You had very well trained scientists, engineers, technicians, civil servants, public administrators and legal luminaries doing wonders all over the world, something others could only dream of then. You had a very capable millitary, with secret agency similar to the mossad of israel or cia of US, others could only dream of rag tag poorly trained geurilla fighters. You were at par with Singapore and South Korea, even Malaysia, others were just getting by. I can go on and on.... stop making excuses for your incompetent leaders... 1 Like |

Appisko: Finally my nephew has decided to make his mom proud by insulting me in his class 5 level English. That's fucking cute. I love that. He is gradually learning. But my son, first of all it's not ashanti; it is asante. Unfortunately your twi doesn't cross Togo. So when next you type know that this is an international platform and type in an international language. Thank you. Again, in your dwarf brain you think you have insulted me by using the word "tani". No I don't see it as an insult. You can say it a thousand times and I won't mind. So far as you and your chiefs are all products of that strong genetically superior semen of the northern warriors or "ntafo" as you said then I am ok. Neither you nor your asantehene's great grandmothers could resist the strength and sweetness of a northerner's penis. They were warriors both in bed and on battlefield. Our (tafor) northern warriors- with their thick rod, bleeped the hell out of your great great grandmothers so they can produce strong, tall and healthy children that actually look like human being. I am never disturbed. Find another insult... this one is not working. Kanbonga 2 Likes 1 Share |

Appisko: Woaa look at it... I suspected this. For those of you who dont know, this is a nephew of mine; a shallow-minded asante midget learnt English last year, hence his difficulty trying to piece together basic english words to form a sentence. He has been speaking his twi since birth in his village with no contact with real morally upright humans. I knew this will be his only insults- "gyimi, kwasiampaini and tani", that's just about all the ammo he has. He writes like a demented baboon who just found an open dictionary in a sewage dump. Lil boy... I am the last person you will want to engage in an insult match, trust me... 2 Likes 2 Shares |
