Chriswazo: U wc, kaduna used to b d capital of northern region, most old government buildings, military formations are heavily concentrated in kaduna state, d transformation of kano into what we have today was done by ex governor kwankwaso over a span of just 4 yrs, while his counterpart ex-gov yero kaduna was busy milking kaduna dry been a stooge for namadi Sambo dia by doing little or nothing. D only fly over in kaduna (kawo) is just 100m build by makarfi as far back as early 2000. So wat u saw is either not updated or dey have no idea of wat is on ground. All d best. 1 Like |

numericalguy: Abeg help me tell am, beside kawo fly over which fly over dey kd? |
![]() |
Chriswazo: Let me come into ur conversation, it will take at least 4yrs of infrastructures building in kaduna and non in kano for kaduna to meet up. Kaduna city have only one fly over bridge (kawo) which is about 100m meters and 3 LGAS which makes d state capital whereas kano city has 9LGAs and many historical ancient sites like great walls of kano which is believe to b over 1000yrs, city gates, famous kantin kwari and kurmi markets, industrial estates and many more, bulk of kaduna city is GRA esp kaduna north as for kano it's is d commercial hub of d north which is synonymous to lagos if u minus lagoon. Many fly overs, under pass, kano have 2 state owned university (KUT and north-west uni) compared to one in kaduna, kaduna city is religiously divided kaduna Muslims predominately live in kaduna north while kaduna xtians and settlers (Muslim n xtians) in kaduna south which is demarcated by bridge on top river kaduna. Like d op said kano ppl don't joke with there religion but it should not not a problem if u simply respect there culture. 1 Like |

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON BHT ATTACK OF BOSSO ON 3 JUN 16. Further to reported BHT attack of RN troops in Bosso on 3 Jun 16, information further revealed the presence of suspected mercenaries of Arab extraction within the ranks of the BHT 'Special Forces'. This group was reported to transit between Arabic and English languages frequently and fluently which suggests that mercenaries might have been sourced beyond West African shores. Information also revealed that RN troops after becoming overwhelmed, abandoned 11 guntrucks, their armoury, unspecified number of arty pieces, apcs, mortar tubes and bombs among other sophisticated weapons, all of which were suspectedly carted away by the terrorists during the night. However, Chadian air operations mobilized by HQ MNJTF, which later increased from 2 ac to 4 was reported to have successfully knocked off 8 out of the 11 vehicles. Six of the vehicles were reportedly loaded with BHT fighters as at the time of the air bombardment which suggests that many of the fighters were struck dead enroute their base. Meanwhile, troops were later mobilized and have retaken the lost ground, even though bht had burnt down almost every useful thing in sight. In fact, all Engr building materials and the civil works done so far were destroyed by the insurgents. Reorganised troops also recovered some corpses of fallen troops, including bodies of 2 NA offrs, Capt MI Abubakar and Lt AS Tinta. They also rescued some other soldiers and civilians working on the bridge. As at 1700 date strenght of nigerian engr constr team was 3 x 28 sldrs incl Bde Comd's orderly who was not initially accounted for, and 9 civilians. 2 x offrs KIA, 1 x civilian MIA. There's need for urgent evacuation of WIA and KIA as well as the rescued ones. |

At about 1830hrs on 3 Jun 16, BHTs attacked RN troops location in Bosso. Attack was the third within the same week and occurred while the Nigerian Army Engrs Bridge Construction team just retired for the day. Attack was said to have been preceded with suspicious activities of cattle rearers almost all around the camp before an initial invasion attempt by BHTs made up mostly of young men with personal weapons. While troops battled to keep these fighters at bay, another wave of attack from BHT special forces made up of men dressed in black attires with black turbans riding in about 10 gun trucks was witnessed. This happened almost during the last light and seemed to overwhelm the troops particularly with the precision of snipers among the so called special forces. BHT special forces were reportedly armed with more sophisticated weapons including RPG, AA and GPMG. Consequently, the camp was overrun after about an hour and a half of fierce battle and was completely razed down after an all night looting by the terrorists. Troops recorded casualties in personnel and equipment but the details are not yet ascertained. However, Lt Col AA Danladi the CO of 18 FER carrying out the bridge construction, Ssgt Danladi Azodo and Mr Manger, a Nigerian civilian artisan with the troops all sustained GSW and have been operated upon. They were all in stable condition as at 0700hrs today when Brig Gen CC Okonkwo, the Comd 48 TF Div Engrs and the LO visited on 4 Jun 16. Furthermore, C/attk by RN/Sub Sector 3 (MNJTF) forces to retake Bosso ongoing. RN ISR is ongoing in addition to 2 x fighter ac fm Chad mob in support of the C/offensive by HQ MNJTF which are also striking strategic locations of the BHTs. Some elements of BHT obsn wdr toward METELE and KANKARWA. Air ops will extent to the 2 areas to strike as obsn to destr the elements and logs carted away from Bosso during the night. Meanwhile, routed tps of Niger and Nigeria are still trickling in. So far, Brig Gen Okonkwo, 2 offrs (incl CO), 18 sldrs and 6 civ out of 5 x 37 and 10 civ construction team have been rescued. Further details later. |
