Nairaland / General / Change Agent!!! by chatwithjide(m): 9:32pm On Jan 18, 2015 |
• I have never seen any school built in his name. I have never seen any borehole constructed by him. • There is no record of any scholarship awarded by him or for him nor through him. • I have never seen him use his popularity to canvass for any charitable work nor any humanitarian effort, not even at the height of the polio scourge where other purposeful and prominent leaders lead the campaign for immunization. • No single text book has been donated to any school either by him, for him or through him. Asides from doing nothing for others, he has not even improved himself since his exit from office. • No book written, no memos, no lectures, nothing! • The only thing of note he can point to are his numerous interviews on the BBC Hausa station. • He never championed for a university in his state nor has he ever been involved in any kind of development programme to better the lives of the Almajiris in Daura. • His entire existence has not lead to any meaningful development in Daura, yet they say he can change Nigeria. Doesn't charity begin at home anymore? • No wonder he was referred to as being ''perpetually unelectable''. • He is not a patron to any organization, group or association. • No professional body in Nigeria has ever invited him for their lecture, convention or gala night. • The only time any known form, body or human assemblage ever chose him to do anything for them was when the Boko Haram terrorist sect nominated him as their spokesperson in the proposed talks with the Fed. Govt. • He recently joined twitter because of elections. At 72 what does he have to offer? • Everyone would like change and positive change is always good but Gen Buhari isn't the answer! Let us be wise for our children’s future! GEJ TILL 2019! |

Nairaland / General / I Will Fight Corruption! by chatwithjide(m): 11:19am On Jan 16, 2015 |
From the table of a pragmatic philosopher, public administrator and political science student as you all know Adeoye Babajide Oluwaseun. The fact that you are a good military leader does not means you will be a good Democratic president because, there is a different between Democratic system of government and military system. There is no veto power in Democracy, there are three arms of government : executive, legislative and judiciary with different functions. The president can only fight corruption through its institution that is EFCC & ICPC. They will investigate and charge people go court will evidence then, the judge will decide whether the suspect is guilty or not through the evidence provided and valid argument given. Therefore, I will fight corruption if you elect me in 2015 is the biggest scam you can ever think of in this informational age joor! |

Nairaland / General / A Critical Reflective Activity From A Pragmatic Philosopher by chatwithjide(m): 1:17pm On Jan 15, 2015 |
A critical reflective activity from a pragmatic philosopher. My names are Adeoye Babajide Oluwaseun from ibogun olaogun that is village while, my town is owu that is, am from the same village and town with former president olusegun obasanjo therefore, I know alot about this man, my Mum told me that when she was heavily pregnant carrying me in her womb in the 80's, she was going to our village in ibogun and was stranded then, she saw former president obasanjo going to the village with his car and she tried pleading to him to help her to the village since they were going the same way but, he refused and left her there. My grandmother has told me several stories on how the former president was the one carrying my grandfather's bag to school on a daily basis for him to have his daily meal because, he came from a very poor background. I know alot about him through my grandmother because, she and obasanjo are from the same family even, the family land given to her was collected by the former president without given her a kobo. I am a graduate of philosophy and currently a masters student of political science and public administration at Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-iwoye, Ogun state. Therefore, I know what am saying, the former president brought late president Yaradua and president Goodluck knowing the challenges he had with his health and he is trying to repeat the same thing with his support for general Buhari. I am totally against this because, we can't be fooled a second time and we all know his hidden agenda. In conclusion, with a critical reflection and evaluation, I am categorically supporting president Goodluck Jonathan and Jimi Agbaje for 2015 election. The winning Team. Strictly PDP. |
