I see your point but it's an oversimplification of the issue. No one tells you at the beginning of marriage that they plan to marry another wife later, even if it's legally and culturally permissible. That would be naivety and a dismissal of the danger a woman could be bring armed with such information. You are not looking for full disclosure because you want honesty, instead you want to use the information for ulterior motives.

I think we need to start asking such question because its alarming even some so called Christian do not see it as an issue.
