Hi, this is the problem of our people.
There is different between buying a job/COS and getting a job.
When you buy COS from Care agencies. You will not have shifts when you arrive here but when you get a job, when you arrive here. The job will be there for you because the company that employed you, did that as a result of need not by inducement to sell COS.
In the UK health and Care standard, Nurses are not meant to work as Carer.
Nurses can only be employed as a nurse on Band 5 as the entry point while Healthcare Assistant starts with Band 2 and 3.
NVQ Health and Social Care framework is structured in such a way that the enabling framework is covered.
For you to switch from Care agencies to NHS, Health and Social Care is a must.
Also, if one in Nigeria or outside the country wants to get this COS without buying it. I strongly advise NVQ.
Finally on the issue of Nurses not getting employed, I will come to that in a new post.
I write as one who is in the system and not outside the system.
NVQ qualifications in any field in the UK is better placed in terms of Jobs than most University certificates we parade from Nigeria.
All skilled jobs ranging from tilers, plumbers, electrical etc are all NVQ inclined. Believe it or not. That is the framework.
It is structured in EQF/RQF.

COS. secondly, if you want her via Health and care route. Let her also take phlebotomy certification or Clinical/medical Assistant as an addon.
For sure, she will. Also do not neglect to get a good professional profiling to be added to her CV. She can go for the NVQ in Nigeria
Thanks

All this you people are just typing I don't understand. NvQ this and that. Certification is good especially people already in the UK that wants carrier progression not people in Nigeria. Nurses find it very difficult to get jobs from Nigeria (I mean nurses who have passed both. CBT and IELTS exams) talk more of ordinary career. It's becoming very difficult for people inside the UK with post graduate visa to get Cos not to mention people in Nigeria. The best route one can easily migrate now is through school because most sold Cos the company doesn't have jobs for you.

Dear, let her take NVQ level 3 certificate. Make sure it is an Ofqual regulated one and you will get her COS. secondly, if you want her via Health and care route. Let her also take phlebotomy certification or Clinical/medical Assistant as an addon.
For sure, she will. Also do not neglect to get a good professional profiling to be added to her CV. She can go for the NVQ in Nigeria

Omor, it seems UK hardly give Cos now for Caregiver jobs. I have been looking for Cos for my sister (last born) to come over, but none is coming forth. The one we got, it's genuine but no work for her if she comes and is £13k. I decline the offer. I have been applying for her here in care homes, she has attended health and social care training in Nigeria and got their certificate. She have B.Sc Business Administration and PGDE. so I told her to go register for TRCN exam let's see if she'll come true teaching routes or caregiver. I'm in dear need of Cos for her. Need her to leave Nigeria before December. Any assistance or suggestions will be welcome.

Hello,
you need to do you due diligence. Qualifi is actually an Ofqual awarding Body but you need to verify Inspire London college is they are approved centre by qualifi.
Most Approved Qualifi courses in the UK are too expensive. I will advice you do it with Centres outside the UK or better do it with Nigerian approved centres since they are very cheap to company other centres.
Thanks

Please I need an answer as quick as possible,
Since lptc is no longer issuing level 2&3 diploma in health and social care, therefore I wouldn’t want to spend money and not get what I paid for. So I’m asking, has anyone done a level diploma 3 in health and social care with inspire London college limited? (From reed) It’s said that is
Awarded by Qualifi Ltd
Regulated by Ofqual
Also must I do level 2 diploma in health and social before I enroll in level 3 ??
Note: I already have diploma in caregiving Alison
And the 15 care standards cert from Florence.

A nice idea but most Alison Health and Social Care are not NVQ but CPD. They are not Ofqual regulated.
I advice him to go for Health and social care Level 3 NVQ, Ofqual regulated. Once you have it, then you can even switch to NHS. Make sure it is Ofqual regulated.
I did mine online in One centre in Nigeria as UK centres are too expensive.
Thanks

If you are already with Health and care visa, i advice you only switch your sponsor to the same visa category. Once you switch to other category, your visa/ number of years spent in the UK will start from Zero which will elongate your ILR.
I advice you should go for Health and social care Level 3 NVQ, Ofqual regulated. Once you have it, then you can even switch to NHS. Make sure it is Ofqual regulated.

Hi, Dear
You can conceal the TV Licence.
Once they send you any email, respond to that email that you are not in need of the Licence and wish they stop sending you the message and they will stop.
That was what i did.
Thanks

Hello Everyone, thank you for the great tips this platform gives.
Please can anyone help me with the format of a letter to write to the TV licensing agency.
I have a TV, but I do not watch any live programmes.
I do not intend to pay the TV licensing fee.
Please help.
Thank you.

I just got details from him. The salary is actually 1000 aed, Visa is 4500aed. They produce synthetic(carpet) grass and work 10hrs. They give a day off.
My other option is since i already have a safety certificate (though not accepted in UAE), I come with 3months visa, do a first aid and fire fighting course (1 week) and search for job.
