vantage7: lol, my brother,...if by sizeable you mean something with a figure like xxxxxxxxx, then I'd surely forget NLNG with her 'igbin' recruitment for LAWMA to do its job!!!.. In other news though, oil price doesn't seem like it will climb high soon...Predictions and projections coming from EIA, OEBC, WB, and others are saying the GOP will only get to about $80pb in 2020. Not like their predictions are ever right. NLNG like excuses!!!....if Grant mess, na 5 months dem go postpone recruitment, if Inuwa piss, na one year be that...if Babs come shit, 3 years go fly!!!..lol...weyrey pipo!!!.... After dem don't pay fat fat salary for so many years....things don't sour now, they are shivering..... sometimes I wonder sha, why pay an entry level staff about N1.25M monthly?? I don't get it sha,...maybe I'm misinformed....left to me, I'd cut down recurring expenditure in terms of staff salaries, have a lot saved up to reinvest in assets so as to stay competitive in the market. ... Anyway, he that wears the shoe knows where it hurt most. |

oil price doesn't stop NLNG from telling us if we passed or didn't pass her AC. An advice like 'bla bla bla, your performance was satisactory/unsatisfactory-You will be advised in due course/we wish you the very best in your career bla bla bla.....' will really show concern, care, empathy and some form of integrity.... This silence 2 years and 2 months into the recruitment and 5 months after AC is just weird and funny at the same time. google once spent 13 month conducting a recruitment and the entire world tagged them haywire company calling the 13 months long recruitment as ridiculous. This is NLNG....minus advert and application time, it's 26 blooooodily damned months...who does that?... no wonder the gods have turned from us as a country....even the so called pace setters couldnt even do realistic projections!!!....global oil price dropped and an entire nation went loco like a pack of roaches who just saw an angry rooster.... its a shame!!!! 14 Likes |

Myquel1: not at all, all courses, 2'1 or 22...tho 2'1 seems like an advantage. its even easier for those who didnt study management courses. interview questions are behavioral SBI questions and not technical CBI questions. 1 Like |

istanboi: so sorry about that, you are not alone though, i had my medicals with some friends during my own time, i resumed 2 weeks after and they had to wait for over 3 months. When i got into the system, i was made to understand that it boils down to branch demands near the address they had on their CV. Maybe the zenith bank near then do not need fresh hands yet. Another likely cause may be as a result of the candidate not being reachable when HR called him/her to come pick offer letter. I know that if you miss that call, its most unlikely that HR will call u back. A lady in my set had to call the HR lady in charge of my batch before she was told to resume work at a distance a lil far from her. branch needs, wrong phone number, switched off phone at time of call, unreachability etc may have caused your own issue. My advice is that you have a walk in at the head office, demand to see the HR and talk to them. 1 Like |

petkruz: not entirely true sir. maybe your branch, Hop and branch head are weird persons, but my branch where i worked, it was a very interesting experience for all of us there. One big happy family....not as bad as you paint up here. Yes i was a GA and my opinions were always asked for every tuesday and Wednesdays. Even maintenance, transport , disptach nd security guys had a say at meetings. for the one year and 4 months i worked with zenith, i was on atm duty for only one month, and yes i wasnt forced to accept that extra work, infact we pray to be on atm duty,..less work, more pay....atleast u are paid for the extra days. even if u get all B in your appraisals which come every six months, you will still get your plus if its yours. the job is not the best out there if i must say the truth, but its faaaaaaaaaaar better than most jobs out there. it all boils down to the branch head, HOP, and cash officers, some are very level headed and nice....some are just trashy. 6 Likes |

JVgal: Anyone working with zenith bank at any branch can help u forward your cv to HR. Except for note counters in the bulk room sha, those ones cant send by themselves. People in customer service, tellers, fund transfer or marketing can help u forward your cv (soft copy). 1 Like 1 Share |

peopleplus is like a virtual organisation inside zenith bank used to recruit lower level contract staff for zenith bank. job location-nationwide (depending on your address) and branch demands. Departments- Customer service and Cash&Teller contract life span-2 years, renewable. no promise of conversion to full time employment but it happens sometimes after some years. Gate crashing might not be allowed as the systems have already been programmed to accept only invited test takers. TEST FORMAT -Simple Gmat. sentence correction, logical reasoning, numerical problems, passage reading and a few abstract if you are fast enough to get to the abstract pages. After the test, if successful, you will be invited for interviews which comprises of four different interviews, all on same day or different days depending on the HR planning. The interviews are quite straight forward and the interviewers are awesome persons. If successful at interviews, you will be invited for medicals. Depending on your address and Zenith bank branch needs around you, you will then be called to pick up your appointment letter and resume at the branch they tell you to. Majority of the training is on the job. My view - Its a nice job, though the pay is low, and I feel the bank should have reviewed the pay for contract staff, because the situation in the country has changed tremendously, u can't compare 8 years ago with today, yet the salary remains the same. That said, id say its a great place to hold on to while you wait for something better in another industry or a promotion in the bank. It is valuable experience! My advice. _____________ For the test since its computer based most times, know your strenght. if you are good at calculations, focus on that and skip all the long stories and passages. The questions u skipped will come back later on in the test. Try and answer as many as possible within the 1hour time frame. Everything at the test will be tailored to help you perform at your best. sometimes snacks and drinks are served. Forr the interview. The questions are simple and direct. Just know about zenith bank, why its the biggest bank in Nigeria, what makes it stand out (core values), why u want to work with zenith bank, what you studied and how it relates to banking. What you are bringing to zenith bank. i wish you guys success in your tests and/or interview. 165 Likes 22 Shares |

Dear NLNG Recruitment team, In response to your earlier mail that you will be cancelling the graduate trainee recruitment, i am hereby writing to inform you of the following: 1. i do not accept your apology because as a first tier in the industry, you should have predicted all these anomalies and prepare. 2. i dont want your reimbursement anymore because the dollar equivalent will be almost peanut today as compared to 2 years ago. Yes i deal in dollars now. 3. lastly, please inform your RA maintanance team to put a pool near my flat as i will be resuming on the 1st of March, 2016.... see you on 01/03/2015 Best regards, CHM11. 1 Like |
