Congratulations to the winner

Meanwhile, Nigeria of today when PDP wins it becomes victory for democracy but if APC win they will say it's Rigging. They forget that highest rigger wins naija election
If APC wins it and the people where the election took place are not complaining then it was definitely free and fair. You cannot claim to have won an election when the people that supposedly voted for you are protesting

The PDP is more than a physical structure. The main PDP (the people) are with makarfi.Besides this interloper can only stay for a while until the supreme court kicks him out in a few months

PDP is in real crisis.
For Sheriff to organize this convention to take place early next year, there might be another division as it's obvious the contest is gonna be between his camp and Fayose and Wike's. Whoever loses might not concede defeat and they would still end up with two new national chairmen. Before they know it 2019 will be around the corner.
You see why I say PDP doesn't start even a close chance of making any tangible outing in 2019.

the supreme court will rule on this matter before the year runs out.Sherrif alone cannot organise a national convention. The party's elected officials and the BOT are not with him

Your argument is very factual and logical, yet you ignore that culture and friendship demanded that the lawyer support his friend financially for an event that would not be postponed to avoid such conflict.

Except you can prove that no social relationship previously existed between the two?

Except you can prove that N500k was too much a gift between two accomplished mature friends for such a high society wedding?

Except you can prove that Buhari wired same money to the lawyer who then forwarded same to the Judge?

my dear. The only way to convict Justice Ademola and Joe Agi will be to also convict Buhari's lawyer and order a retrial of the certificate case.Buhari was stupid to have pushed Justice Ademola to trial knowing he has such a thing against him.The way it is Justice Ademola will walk although he might end up been reprimanded by the NJC.

I am wondering what will happen when the trial proper of the supreme court justices begin. No wonder Buhari has been hesitant in allowing Dasuki an open trial.A lot of dirts will be unearthed. This is just the beginning.

Don't mind the hypocrite. The judge in question is on trial for receiving gifts from another lawyer which the EFCC tagged bribe money. But the one given by buhari's lawyer is now been called gift

Are you telling me parents don't give their fellow parents who are friends or family such amount when celebrating their birthdays or their children's wedding?

How much do you think it cost to rent a hall for a social engagement for people in that social class? A hall on the mainland of Lagos ooo, not even on the Island or highbrow areas of Abuja?

We are not talking about a local government gate man whose daughter is getting married and whose friends are also languishing in poverty.

If the lawyer who also happens to be Buhari's lawyer at that time, had given the judge N20m or N50m, then we would all have no doubt it was a bribe given under the excuse of a convenient wedding gift. But not a paltry N500k gift. Is that suppose to be money for Suya or for the judge to buy a plot of land at Ifo?

It seems you don't even know how much lawyers charge politicians in this democratic era of electoral disputes and corruption suits. Ask the likes of Mike Ozekhome how much he charges for retainership, talkless of charges for the actual briefs. Then imagine how much most of the notable tier1 lawyers charge. You think every lawyer is a charge and bail lawyer that's why you think N500k is big money for a wedding gift to a parent.
Stop talking nonsense 500kk is not a small money in today's naija. In fact someone committed suicide because he lost 300k wedding money to mmm.BTW bribe money is bribe money whether it is N1k or N20m

Reno is grasping at straws.

The lawyer has already disclosed his close friendship to the Judge, and has stated he gave a wedding gift to the Judge who happened to be the father of the bride.

N500K sounds about right as a gift for the calibre of people involved in the giving and the receiving.

How this is related to Buhari is what I am yet to understand with the apologists of corruption fighting tooth and nail for survival.

Nothing will stand in the way of the fight to rid Nigeria of corruption.
Why exactly is the judge and the SAN on trial? The DSS claimed the lawyer gave gifts to his wife and children while adjudicating in cases where the lawyer was in court. So how exactly is this case different
