The school was particular about it and stated it there in the admission letter. that payment for first semester should be made before august. And that was exactly what I did

I doubt your school will use the telex copy to issue you an official reciept. Fund will have to be received by them before the issue reciept. So while sending the telex, exercise some patience till your payment is recieved.

Regarding which route is better, non is better. You can go for any depending on what is convenient for you. Both are subject to the same processing time and review.

Federal University schools usually give statement of results before Degree result much after Convocation usually 3 years latter or more. What I have is Statement of Result.

You don't need to pay online for paper application, carry your cash to VAC lekki
Just go to lekki with all your documents and your cash for visa fees, no need to book appointment you will be given a ticket at the door just relax and wait for your ticket number to be announced then proceed note: they will help you arrange the documents there... You do biometrics and submit passport as well

What about family information forms etc. Those forms u fill. Does one need to fill them before going there and where can one get them
