Thanks for this. I just checked and ours has been moved to "Under Review"

My own still remained 'sent'.
What could be the reason?

Your work is probably hybrid. A fully remote job doesn't care where you are located as long as you show up online do the job and turn in your results as expected.
But if your job is so stressful and doesn't pay why are you so eager to keep it by going to Brazil secure a remote job then return to Nigeria to continue the " no pay" job?

Please read with understanding. I want to go and look for international remote job that will give me space and money. With my 11hour job you will not have time for yourself or to do another job and at the end of month you will not be paid up to 150k.
I am coming back to meet my family because am not travelling with them.
I am coming back to have time for my ministry and other business.

N.B: the job is remote because I travel and work anywhere in Nigeria with my tools, but the working tools belongs to the company. If there's any damage you dare not repair it elsewhere, you must return it to them.

you can continue your remote job in Brazil. You can live comfortably and do your work online. Also you can teach English

The Nigeria job is too stressful, working 11hours per day and there's no pay. I don't think they will allow me to travel abroad as they are the one that have the working tools.

Honestly I don't know the jobs in demand. Brazil is a big country, with a lot of industries in various sectors of the economy.

I also need advise on the jobs and part of the country to get what I want, but am waiting for visa to be approved first before I do research on that.
Am working remotely with a Nigerian company and want to know if I can get a remote work within the 6months in Brazil and come back.

My journey with Brazilian visa started January, I submitted online waited for invitation to submit hard copies till the program I wanted to attend passed. March, I reapplied with another event, this time I submitted immediately without waiting for invitation. May, immediately the event passed, I received mail from them that I should get invitation letter from the Organiniser of another event I want to attend in Brazil. I told them that I don't have any other event but will like to take vacation. I reapplied June And was invited for physical interview on July that was when my status turn to review. During the interview I was asked to provide some documents. I sent through mail but no response. I now decided to open another application.
Do you know that after I submitted hard copies my status went back to sent since July till date.

How old are the children?

Please apply for each child, and leave the signature space blank. Amongst other documents, you'll need to submit their original birth certificates (or notarized copies) and also an authorization letter for each one from the other parent, stating you have permission to travel with them.

Remember to take note of finances as well and do let us know the outcome. All the best!
Thanks for replying

On the website it states that extra documents needed for minors.
Please can you help with all the documents required.

Please people that applied for visa this period.
How is the process with the new authority?

Can someone travel for tourism without invitation.
I mean if you don't know anyone there, is it possible to get a visa for vacation with this new authority?

It depends on what dAte you indicated as your travel date. Lol. They will update your Visa maybe 1 week, or even 3 days before your travel date. Experienced this 3 times with all the people I applied for, but now I am a resident holder… scared I’ll not apply anymore. Lol . My mother’s Visa came out a day, before the travel date we indicated (thank God ticket we booked wasn’t paid for).

How do I get it right?
After uploading all the documents online and printing protocol page last week. If I try to login using my mail and password it will say there's no service with this mail. I checked status the first day it said 'sent' the next day it says 'sit'. I was not able to submit the protocol page because I can't login using my mail and password.
Yesterday I tried to check status. It says service not found. I went back to update the application. I uploaded the documents again but still unable to login using email and password.

Please I need urgent advice.
What should I do?

To everybody that wants to apply for a Brazil Visa this is the steps

Get all your documents ready(flight, hotel reservation, bank statement etc)

Create a profile on https://ec-lagos.itamaraty.gov.br/ after creating the profile you will see a manual form you have to print and fill manually, and other things you will need to submit on Brazil main website. The Visa fees and bank account will also be there.

Then visit https://formulario-mre.serpro.gov.br/sci/pages/web/ui/#/cidadao-nacionalidade you will need to translate to English, click on foreign citizen, then click on visa, fill the forms with the correct information and all. If you are applying for more than 1 person you have to fill the form for every body applying to get the visa, same at the lagos website too *when filling the form choose via courier to transmit your document to embassy*

After filling the form, and attaching your documents which include the manual form you filled and others specifically stated by the lagos ec, then go ahead and print the protocol page which has a space for passport and signature. Attach your passport picture and manually sign the page, then scan the page.

Sign in to your profile on https://ec-lagos.itamaraty.gov.br/ to upload your protocol page, proof of payment and international passport bio data page then click submit.

A mail will be sent to your email associated with the Ec lagos acct about your application being reviewed, at this stage you will have to mail your physical documents including your passport to the embassy in lagos(it will have to be a two way package delivery, you send to embassy then they send back to you)

After sending your documents to embassy visit https://formulario-mre.serpro.gov.br/sci/pages/web/ui/#/cidadao-nacionalidade then click on check status to see the status of your visa application

Wait Wait Wait.

Wish you success in your Visa Application
