So that means you will be giving the Fulani Herdsmen land free of charge?

What about the goat herders, poultry farmers, pig farmers, crops and vegetable cultivation, will they be given free lands too?

On behalf of the Governor and the entire people of Benue State, I hereby invite all Bororo herdsmen from the Sahel, South Western States of Nigeria, CAR, et.c to come quickly and invest in the Benue because our darling Governor has given you land free of charge.

Reason they cling to Nigeria

Without Nigeria Yoruba land I’ll continue with their Dane guns and juju fight

Yoruba cannever Be peaceful ... in a divided Nigeria

Reason they fear and hate the word Biafra

You got it wrong. Yorubas are the most accommodating tribe and a unifying factor in this country.
We have the Yoruba Muslims and also the Yoruba Christians and recently the Yoruba traditionalists.
If not for this little misunderstanding, Yorubas are most uniting

Pls continue advising your ignorant biafrans to stay away from us.

If your rants here are not mischievous and that you have been observing very closely, you would see that the Igbos are very happy with the declaration of Ibom Republic.

Let the Ikwerre be vocal about their Ikwerre Republic and the Ijaws, Ijaw Republic and who ever want to go do so without attaching other unwilling ethnicities into their fold. e.g. Niger Delta Republic. Every other people that wish to join them can do so.

In like manner, you should also respect the wish of other people who are very vocal about their Igbo decent the free will to do so without any interference just because they are lumped together in the so called Niger Delta.

As far as I know, Niger Delta is a political creation comprising of different ethnicities whose values are of different cultural affiliation. Let the wish of those who wish to join their kith and kin across the Niger be respected and accorded due respect and those who are comfortable in the present arrangement same.

In essence, if any ethnic group traces their root to Ibom Republic, Ikwerre Republic or Ijaw Republic let them go with them if they so wish but there is nothing like Niger Delta Republic with people of dissimilar interests

No one is afraid of Ibos leaving Nigeria, especially Yoruba. The question is, will Ibos remain in Nigeria if Yorubas secede? We dont even share any borders.

Most secessionists agitation favours the fact that their continuous unity in Nigeria is based on the fact the the Igbos are still part of the Country.

I have read stories of many ethnicities, groups, social and cultural class here on Nairaland, other social media and offline that if Biafra is given independence they will also leave the union.
A very popular one is the Niger Delta region that always claim to love Nigerian unity but never fail to remind us that if the Igbo leave that they would also leave.
Another popular ones is the Oduduwa nation. They love Nigerian unity but would not hesitate to leave the contraption if the Igbo leave.
Then we have other similar agitation like the middle belt, the Ijaw nation, the COR etc.
My point is why are they afraid of Igbos leaving so that they can enjoy their one Nigeria in peace?
The truth is that the Easterners hold the strand that binds the country together and when that fails, there will be nothing like Nigeria and that is why the Government and all its military apparatus are using such brute force to quell the agitation of secession from the East.
The government are noticeably less concern about similar agitation from other regions.

I don't know how to advise you o but what I normally do when I observe any growth like this on any part of my body is that I always burst it as soon as I discover it and when it is at its infancy.
I occasionally squeeze out the puss until I start seeing traces of blood. I do this squeezing everytime I noticed that the puss is building up again, thereafter, I wash and clean up the affected area.
Though, the squeezing is always painful but I had no choice but to bear it.
The beautiful thing is that in less than two days of continuous squeezing, there will be no more puss and the affected area might turn to a sore and heal normally.
One thing I know is that I don't allow the boil to grow to that extent. It gets more sensitive and very painful at this stage.

2019: CANADA-BASED JOURNALIST REVEALS HOW FED GOVT AIDED NNAMDI KANU’S ESCAPE, SEALED DEAL WITH BIAFRAN LEADER
By John Owen Nwachukwu
Daily Post
February 06, 2019

An International Media personality and presenter, George Chukwu, has revealed some details surrounding an alleged deal that led to the release of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, by the Nigeria Government.

In a Statement to DAILY POST from Toronto, Canada, the renowned presenter with Canada’s Afroglobal Television and Vice-President of the Nigeria Canadian Association (NCA) said he got reliable information from sources in the deep background from Aso Rock how the IPOB leader was arrested during the military exercise in his hometown along with his parents in 2017 and held in Bonny, Rivers State under solitary confinement and released after the former Director-General, DG, of the Department of State Services, DSS, Moman Daura, working together with the former Governor of Abia State, Orji Uzor Kalu, convinced President Muhammadu Buhari and Abba Kyari to recruit him to work for the state.

Chukwu said, “I gathered from a very senior security official in Abuja that Nnamdi Kanu, his parents and driver were apprehended by the Army DMI operatives and initially taken to Ohafia on September16th of 2017. He was later removed from the military facility and taken to a Naval yard in Rivers State. His parents were held at Ohafia before they were transferred to Abuja and kept in a DSS safe house on Kwameh Nkrumah Street, Asokoro in Abuja.

“According to my source, Nnamdi Kanu was wounded when he was arrested; he had a broken rib and was limping. The DMI kept the information about his arrest secret to manage the outcome of the infamous Operation Python Dance the army initiated which culminated to his being arrested.

The FG was worried that information leaking about his arrest would trigger off protests and possible riots throughout the South East and South-South. Their fear stems from the fact that Asari Dokubo had aligned with Nnamdi Kanu and the FG did not want the Niger Delta militants to start blowing pipelines again. They already had the Avengers that were causing enough trouble for them.

“When the case Nnamdi Kanu was answering was called and the court was told he was nowhere to be found and following the Army HQ saying they did not know where Nnamdi Kanu was, it was decided that the information became top secret. It was at this time that the British Government made enquiry about Nnamdi Kanu who holds a British citizenship and the Attorney General and the Foreign Affairs Minister assured them that he was safe. Nnamdi Kanu sneaked into the country in 2015 with both his British passport and his Nigeria passport which enabled the Nigeria government to arrest him as he is also her citizen. Had Nnamdi Kanu had only his British passport he would have been safe. This was the argument the FG through the Attorney General offered to the UK diplomats and they kept cool.

“Towards June 2018, Nnamdi Kanu became very ill and at a point took to hunger strike but was well taken care of. The doctor that was seeing him is called Dr. Obegi from Kogi. Nnamdi Kanu was said to have refused being given any injection which worsened his condition. He told his handlers he was afraid he would be killed the way Musa Yar Adua was allegedly killed. In all the months he was incarcerated he did not break. On the day that the World Cup final was played, his parents were brought to visit him.

“The DSS had been working his parents and they asked Nnamdi to reveal the funding of IPOB and how the money transfers were done. You remember, there was a time the Minister of Information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed gave a press conference saying that IPOB had foreign sponsors from Spain; that information many others were given to the DSS by Nnamdi Kanu. His parents meeting him was a struck of luck as he became weakened and agreed to reveal all that the authorities wanted from him. But he demanded that his parents be released.

“At this point of negotiation, the Federal Government brought in the former Governor of Abia State, Orji Uzor Kalu and he was contacted by Abba Kyari to get into the negotiation since he knew most of the sponsors of IPOB. Kalu went to see Kanu on in early August but the meeting did not yield any dividend as Kanu maintained his demand that his parents be released.

“The former Governor was said to have asked the government to use Nnamdi Kanu’s parents as leverage or collateral knowing that his negotiations with Kanu never ever gets through.
“It was during this time that the International Criminal Court (ICC) in the Hague delivered its verdict on their investigation into the activities of the Nigeria Army and concluded that they committed grave human rights abuses including killing innocent people. That development cut short the plan to release Nnamdi Kanu’s parents.

”It was at this time that it was said the former DSS boss, Daura, came into the picture and told Nnamdi Kanu that he would have a new brief. kiss He made it clear that his parents would be held while he would continue with a message of election boycott as the IPOB were canvassing. Nnamdi Kanu was told in specific words that he was being recruited to propagate the election boycott in the South East and South South knowing that these regions will not vote for President Muhammadu Buhari.

“It was Daura that decided to have Nnamdi Kanu released to be flown to Israel after A DEAL was reached grin . Nnamdi Kanu was removed from Bonny and taken to Enugu airport from where he was transported to Abuja and connected to Israel.

“This is why Nnamdi Kanu has been pushing for election boycott because he knows that this will affect Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi so that Buhari will win. He has kept quiet about how he left the country, only saying that Biafra Intelligence took him away. grin He has not mentioned where his parents are and has been doing everything to make sure he keeps his own part of the deal which was to be on till after the elections. My source said that Nnamdi Kanu was told to act like he used to but when he did the Jibril taunt and it went viral he was reminded of the pact he had with the government that is why he lately took to Atiku.”

The government of Nigeria brought a good idea of creating a cow route for herders, you people are busy crying foul.

The constitution of Nigeria, guarantee freedom of movement and trade, anyone can travel anywhere to live and trade.

If a igbo, yoruba businessman can go to the north to carry out his business, nothing stops a fulani man from carrying out his business in the south.

Stopping fulani people from moving and trading their cows from one part of Nigeria to another is an attack on their fundamental human right, if you can travel and do business anywhere in Nigeria, the fulani man should be also be able to do business anywhere.

You are all shouting fundamental human right when the government banned Twitter but you go about banning others from their own fundamental human right, that is hypocrisy.

In your warped mind, you want the South East to be the underdog, spearheading the agitation and you sit and watch comfortably while they are massacred and label terrorists?

After they are done fighting, you would then sheepishly come forward to demand for your "SS" and hoped it will be handed over to you with open arms?

If these are your thoughts, you lied! Because after the South East are gone with of course their brothers and sisters annexed in the so called SS region, you lots will be in your beloved Nigeria to demand for your own liberation.

We can't all be wailing on Nairaland.
Let us all go on Twitter and other popular social media to put strongly our resolve tlfor a new constitution.

Tag your senators and every body responsible for a new constitution. Do your bit as a patriotic citizen. Let's raise a powerful hashtag and let our celebrities tweet it so it goes viral and become the topic of discussion.

It is clear that a new constitution with the input of every stakeholders is the last hope of the common man. Let's utilise this opportunity to make this work. Complaining on Nairaland won't work. Let us use the same zeal as the #ENDSARS tag and see what we can achieve with that.

Do not let any politician think the current constitution cannot be revamped and a new one set up instead. If they bother about the legality of a new constitution, then let it current one be amended without fuss.. That's their job!

It is very evident that our leaders are there for their selfish reasons. To them, the masses must be under their knees.

Politics / Re: IPOB Killed Gulak Over Nnamdi Kanu’s Sit-at-home Order – Nigeria Intelligence by cornelin(m): 5:37pm On May 30, 2021
kahal29:
Nigeria intelligence community have linked the assassination of former political adviser to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Ahmed Gulak, to the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

The proscribed secessionist group, led by Nnamdi Kanu, now has a militant wing, Eastern Security Network (ESN).

Security agencies have repeatedly linked the ESN to the killing of security personnel and destruction of government facilities in South-East and South-South States.

After Gulak’s murder, an intelligence officer told PRNigeria that IPOB has been indicted.

The officer disclosed they intercepted communication and saw videos where Kanu threatened anyone who fails to observe his sit-at-home order from May 29 to May 31 will die.

“Why should Nigeria and the media continue to dignify IPOB by claiming that its continuous atrocities against the security services and Nigerians are executed by unknown gunmen when we have arrested their members confessing their involvements?” the officer said.

Kanu, in a recent broadcast, declared the sit-at-home will commence 6p.m. on Saturday till 6p.m. on Monday.

The IPOB leader warned that the order is compulsory and must be obeyed South-East people.

“From 6p.m. on the 29th, there will be no movement, this is not sit-at-home but no movement. If you are found outside from 6p.m. you are dead”, he said.

Gulak, an All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, was killed in Owerri, Imo State capital on Saturday night.

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Adamawa and personal friend of Gulak, Dr. Umar Arɗo, confirmed the incident on Sunday.

Lol, of all Nigerian ethnicities, we know those that have the best cuisines.
Let's open the following restaurants in say Abuja, Lagos or P.H

1. Igbo Kitchen
2. Yoruba kitchen
3. Hausa kitchen
4. Calabar kitchen

Let each have the same building and expert chefs but let each prepare only native soups respectively, then compare which one will draw the most customers cool cool

I can bet a million naira that most customers would throng to Igbo kitchen followed by Calabar kitchen. Only few native people who are used to their own foods regardless of its taste would go to the other two kitchens grin grin

I have never in my life seen good looking or tasteful Hausa soup. Why is this so?

I remember having an Hausa neighbour then, the only thing you can perceive when she cooked was Maggi. She can empty cubes of Maggi in her food. You might even eat an undissolved Maggi if you manage to eat the food.

If I were to be in that situation, what I'll do is that after introduction and exchange of pleasantries with her and her friend, I'll stylishly excuse my girl and myself from the table to a nearby empty table so that my girl and I am seated on different tables away from the friend.

If my girl ask me why I separated her from her friend, I'll simply tell her that I understand her fear and security concerns and that since her friend can be able to see us from her end, it means that she is safe and that I meant no harm. I'll tell her that the purpose of our meeting is to get to know each other better and I don't want a third party to intrude into our discussion.

If she agrees to my arrangement and after some chit chat, I'll order food for just the two of us. If she insist that I also take order for her friend, I'll tell her that she is not my responsibility and that I can't foot her friend's bill because I didn't invite her.

If she still persist that I do some thing at least for her friend, I'll just tell the waiter to give her friend bottle water.
