His middlename is Okeroghene. That is what drew my attention. The fact that he has been in Manchester City all this time and some people on this thread pointed it out is what is baffling me.

It is well and I pray for the best for him.
Considering the fact he’s better than the GKs we have now,it’s painful.

Business / Re: Naira Redesign Won't Reduce Inflation Or Strengthen Naira by cromz(m): 12:52pm On Nov 08, 2022
Holuwaxheun:

There are several other things that causes inflation. Proper reduction of money in circulation should have been done by the government by embracing surplus budget (cutting their salaries to what the Nigeria IGR can cover), and also inproving domestic production on a large scale. But here we are, government embracing deficit budget and indulging in high loans from other countries.

Among many other, below are the causes of inflation

1. Cost-push inflation is the decrease in the aggregate supply of goods and services while

2. Demand-pull inflation is the increase in aggregate demand.

3. Built-in inflation is linked to adaptive expectations or the belief that present inflation rates will persist in the future.

4. Deficit spending by govt - In order to meet its mounting expenses, the government resorts to deficit financing by borrowing from the public and even by printing more notes

As it stand, FDC is quite right to a measure, redesigning of note will hardly solve the inflation problem if other measures that can assist in reducing inflation are not embraced - Govt should reduce its spending, domestic production on large scale should be encouraged, reduction in taxes to avoid cost push inflation, improvement on large production of our mineral resources (crude oil, coal, gold etc) to increase our Revenue reserve, Reduction in interest rate to encourage foreign investment, Improvement in securities of lives and properties to also encourage foreign investment and local production.

Until these are done, we are not yet ready to solve the issue of inflation. Do not be surprised, as it stands, Naira might hit N1,000 against the usd during this period.

May God help us all
I totally get your point but the redesigning policy is not inconsequential.it’ll have its effects even if it’s minimal.
Business / Re: Naira Redesign Won't Reduce Inflation Or Strengthen Naira by cromz(m): 11:38am On Nov 08, 2022
This is a very bias and one sided analysis. FDC has ignored the fact that redesigning our naira notes will increase the strength of the naira as there will be lesser volume of naira in circulation.

Career / Re: Lawyers In The House Please Help. Can I Leave My New Job Without Issue by cromz(m): 1:55pm On May 04, 2022
Depends on the grounds of which you want to leave.
If you decide you want to leave based on inequality in treatment and payment of staffs at the same level then you have a valid reason and can make a case that the money of the training should be deducted from the arrears of unequal payments accumulated since you began the job.

Do you know that Ghana is ranked as slight favourites to win the first leg of the playoffs. I looked at our defense line and all I could see is mediocrity. None of the defenders have played active football in the last 2months for their club sides except Calvin bassey (who would most likely would be benched), and Sanusi. Are players like abdullahi shehu, balogun, ekong, with unfit omeruoand match rusty etebo the most in-form footballers Nigeria can come up with? Now the only player close to world class in our squad Ndidi is out. I hope people won't be disappointed after the game
shut up games are not won by player stats. The same defenders you’re shouting conceded only 1 goal from open play at AFCON. We have very good players like osimen, lookman,Dennis, aribo, ihenacho etc.

Romance / Re: Sex With My Co-Worker. I'm In Big Trouble by cromz(m): 1:56am On Jan 16, 2022
ChizzyBuna:
I had a fling with one of my work friends.
She lives 15 mins apart from my area
We have been having sex for over a year
She is a good friend.

Long story short, i was given promotion at work. My job is one of the hardest.
I'm in charge of recurring new workers and im the one that submit the names of those who will be sacked.
The M.D is my uncle and he trust me so much

Today i opened a file and saw this girls name on list of people to be sacked.
I have to submit it and prepare their letters.
I have defended her when my uncle wanted to sack her last year.
If i defend her again, my uncle will suspect im having fling with her. He almost caught us kissing so he is suspicious
If my uncle find out, he might sack me.
He sees me as an angel and i want to keep that reputation. So i can become M.D

modified
For those asking why they want to sack her
Last year, during staff meeting. She kind of challenged a senior collegue's idea infront of everybody, the man was not having it. It caused a riff between them. Since then the man has been trying to sack her. Based on he is my uncles alley.
I defended her privately to my uncle. They didnt sack her..
Last year my uncle annouced that he will be going to uk for hip surgery.
His wife has taken over as of January.
Maybe the wife has a hand in this.
And i cant ask her why..

Both my uncle and wife are not on nairaland. So its safe to bring this topic here

you played yourself by telling her. If you didn’t tell her, nothing she fit do

And that was the reason for the term, "Post Afcon". It could be anytime before the next Afcon (2023 in the summer). U gerrit?

Also, we were just name-dropping a few other quality talents that can boost the team's depth. Among them are majorly Midfielders, a defender & a goalkeeper. Depts were more personnel is needed.

Besides, the uncapped names won't all just come in like that. It will take time. Some would come in a year or even 2. One or two could come in 6 months or less like Alhassan Yusuf.

The main point was Osimhen, Balogun, Etebo and even Onuachu would still return to this team to further deepen the depth we already witnessing.

So relax. This is why I stressed on the word, "Read".

I really try to make my posts simple and comprehensive enough. So don't get it twisted Brahh. wink

No wahala we are good

And that was the point Brahh. So what you saying? Osimhen and a few others should join after the WC? Read brahh. Read.

So despite putting my last line in bold, you still didn't read it or see where I said "post-Afcon" Or you just wanted to quote me for quote sake.

Also, so you mean Osimhen and Onuachu can rejoin the team after WC 2022? Na wa.

Make una dey read well before una quote person abeg. It's 2022.

TheSuperNerd:
6. Alhassan Yusuf
7. Ademola Lookman
8. Igoh Ogbu (many don't know this lad grin )
9. Adebayo Adeleye (some don't know him)
10. Abbas Ibrahim (many don't know him too).
11. Ishaq Abdulrazak (several don't know him).
12. Several others including a few of the Naija dual-Nat lads who could still turn to us.

Don't forget the likes of Etebo, Balogun, Onuachu et al would be making a return to the team and the Number 1 Striker himself, Osimhen. wink

The Depth gets even better Post-Afcon for sure.

But for now, Let's focus on the lads in Cameroun.

After World Cup Abeg no spoil Wetin dem don do

You can’t control his smoking but you can regulate it. Also ensure he eats healthy. Put morals aside smoking isn’t a crime. Just try to curb excessive intake.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Bank Cleaner Or Petrol Attendant , Which One Is Better? by cromz(m): 11:23am On Nov 23, 2021
yemite100:
Dear Nairalanders
I just finish my OND,but I planned going for my HND but there is no helper that could help because my both parents are late, and it is just me and my other siblings and I just manage to have ND.

I planned to get a job so that I can save up little to start my HND.

I have search for job but could not get any, so i just got this opportunity and I want to seek your advice on which one I should go for

The bank Cleaner is 17k per month and I will spend #200 daily for transport, the petrol attendant is just few kilometer to where we stay and the basic salary is just 10,000,and #150 for feeding daily.

I am just a bit confused on which one I can choose.

Please no insult, I just need advice...
Thanks.
my bro you don’t deserve a low paying job like this, nobody does!
Try and learn a skill probably driving or something. Save some money and open a POS shop.
Trust me you can’t save anything from these low salaries.
