For public transportation, you can get a multi card, with which you can Take a bus or the metro, if you don’t have a card you can pay by Alipay or wechat if you don’t have Alipay or wechat, for buses you can pay by cash it’s 2Rmb if you put more than that, you can’t get your change, but for Metro, if you don’t have the metro app wechat or Alipay, you can goto the ticket vending machines inside the metro, click on the closest line to where you’re headed to and it will show you a sign to pay by cash or wechat you pick cash, and you have to put a single 5 or 10 notes or the amount of coin for the ticket, the longest distance between the city of Gz by metro cost 5Rmb so if you put 10rmb note, the machine calculates no and the refund you your balance
Attached is a picture of one type of the vending machines, they have different types

OP has the right to give out information he wants and what he posts on his thread but I understand that most of the people following this thread are here because they want to relocate, study abroad or start a business. To make this thread more fun if OP agrees I can answer all the questions about visa process, jobs, admissions or business to the best of my knowledge. Please note that I am not an agent and if anybody sends me a DM I won't reply. All DMs can be sent to OP...... This is my 4th year in China and I believe I have gained some experience. We are all adults there's no need to throw insults on ourselves. Thank you
bro it’s not that I don’t have an idea for visa issues or I dont want to talk about it, 1st you of alla people should know that not all info about china can be put on a public forum, 2, if we start answering visa questions right now that’s all we will have to do, and forget about the stories we are trying to tell to keep people entertained. mind you if you read a few pages back, you’d see where someone said he stumbled on this thread from google, we don’t know who is reading and some infos I really can’t give in a public forum, if you feel like you want to open your thread though, it’s better and I’ll chip in a thing or 2 that I feel I can

Black man's way of thought!

OP, do you know what is called creation of values?

Do you know the relationship between creation of values and money making? The value you create here is giving out information about how you got to China. As already said by you that your migration was cheap and easy, kindly give this information. It's called value creation.

This information may be at other places like Chima embassy, however it will be diluted.

It's not good to live in a white man's land and still exhibit blackmind thoughts.

Asking for DM before giving out useful information is a blackmind thought.

I'm Aduhube.
you with the white mans way of thought, so what if I talk about the link I used on a public forum and it gets blocked? Or the people involved gets problems? The problem with us Nigerians is that we always claim to be very smart and we always try to act smart, but in true sense we can’t even use that smartness to develop ourselves, it’s my thread and I can decide what to write and what not to, nobody is paying me to write anything, if I tell u I don’t feel comfortable writing certain things, you either understand and read along or take your entitled head somewhere else

Why are Nigerians always carrying a secretive mentality.Anybody that sees light wont let his other brother see light..This is why Indians are progressing more anywhere they are ..Why dont you let the op carry everyone along...This country is getting sickening everyday and most people visiting this travel section daily want a way out of this shithole...Let love lead...My 2 cents

don’t be stupid bro, I said if you wanted my help with anything feel free to send a Dm and I’ll help anyway I could, how’s that being secretive?

Living in china for the past 1year plus has thought me so many things and one of it is the fact Coding is the future, weda we like to admit it or Not. Technology is the only way forward, and coding is at the forefront.
The advancement of things I see everyday makes me marvel with excitement, if only africa can forget about ethnics and religious nonsense and focus more on technological advancements.
Some Chinese people are so lazy, but their technology has made their laziness seem like a norm, they are always thinking of something new to create in order to make life very easy for them, here in china you can basically sit inside your house and say for next 1month I’m not going anywhere, all you have to do is Meituan anything you want, whatever it is you’re looking for it’s online. I sometimes just go through 1688, taobao And tindodo, which are apps where you can order things from, and the things i see this people create just makes me think like Africa we are our own problem, this people create basically everything you need in life to make it easier. And the fact that they don’t need to rely on any country to do so makes it even more better, whatever they see outside they come home and create their own version and then the good thing is their people always loves and value their own Chinese made.
Even for cars there are American, European, and Japanese spec cars here, driving by kids that can make you go into depression ; but I tell u what there are more Chinese made cars than any other spec here and those Chinese made cars are super dope that If we have them in Nigeria we wouldn’t even need those tokunbo we spend our money on, And then there are also some car companies that perfectly copies American spec cars, that if you see them you’d think they are American cars but they are Chinese made, and example of such is LandWind.. and Chinese cars manufacturer that perfectly copied landrover’s Range Rover.

First, brother adu the OP created the thread to share his experience living in China. Not to share immigration tips. If you need info on immigrating to China, please visit chinese embassy.
Second, travelling to other country is not all about going there to make money. Travelling is EDUCATION.
Third, it is good to write what your audience wants, but it is not necessary.

OP is not in the right position to talk about visa issues and even education issues. Why?
OP didnt tell us if he is a diplomat, travel agent or if he works at an embassy.
OP didnt tell us if he is a student in China, even if OP were a student, the route OP took to gain admission might be totally different from that of others.

Look DanielHouston tried to please people in his thread, he wrote on what they asked for, but the thread didnt end well, same with Munichlover.
Please let OP post what feels good to him, and if you do not agree with OP, know that OP is posting from his own personal experience.

#las_las_we_go_dey_alright.
i personally like this reply, reason being that you spoke everything in my head, I was thinking of a way to perfectly reply him but couldn’t find 1 this right here is what I would have said, like I said. The way I came here was pretty easy and straight forward. But that was for me I can’t say the same for you, and I can’t post the same here on a public forum, I want to share experiences of daily livings here not to talk about migration that way the thread can last as long as we want it to be.. thank you very much for this reply once again

You said you can easily access the bike or car with a scan code?
Do you have an exact place where you can find them or just anywhere and also, do have to return them back to the exact same point where u picked it up.

Brothers and sister when I created this thread I just wanted to talk about china from my own point of view and give us a little info about the place, I think if we start talking about visa and migration it’s gonna hurt the thread a bit, so can we please if possible create another thread to talk about all that? And just enjoy this? And anyone who has any personal question to ask feel free to send a dm I’ll try as much as possible to answer u to the best of my knowledge and help in anyway I can.. God bless Us all

Like I said before, china doesn’t have states, they have provinces and municipalities, and the cities and districts, the Province i live in is called Guangdong, and in Under Guangdong province you have many cities like Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Dongguan, Foshan, Huizhou, shantou and a lot more, I have lived in Shenzhen before, and I will talk about there a little as time goes on, for now I live in GZ so I’m talking about GZ for now Gz is like the capital of Guangdong, and under GZ you have districts like Tienhe, Liwan, Baiyun, Yuexiu, hangpu, panyu, Nansha, Huadu, zengcheng and conghua.
Tienhe is like the Capital District Of GZ, a very bubbly place, with lots of high rise buildings shopping malls 5atar hotels beautiful metro station 5 star restaurants A huge sport center and a big stadium, where Guangzhou Evagrande plays their home matches. It’s a very nice place to live in that’s if you can afford it grin wink the few pictures I’m posting are from around Tienhe

Xiaobei Lu: The "Chocolate City", "Little Africa" of Guangzhou. A lot of stuff used to go down there, don't know if they still do because I haven't been there in a while.
lol I know what you mean, but let’s keep it on a low wink

This is the popular Xiaobei Lu, on this street you’d find so many black people all Day and a night, there are also so many xinjian people, (the Chinese Muslims) one of the thing that fascinates me about This place is, you see this big bridge and all this big buildings? There is a very big metro underneath, what that means is this bridge and the buildings are standing on top of a hole, and there are people going about and working underneath.. the first time I saw this, something came to my mind, this shows that whatever these people are enjoying right now, they planned like 20-30 years ago, and in 20years from now what they are going to be enjoying, they are currently planning. They just don’t plan and build alone their maintenance culture as well is second to none..

In most shops, super market, marts you’d find this,
What it does is as long as you have an Alipay account, and you registered with correct details and ID you don’t need to have your phone to buy Stuff all you have to do is scan your face and the money will be deducted from your Alipay account or the bank card linked to your Alipay account

Travel / Re: Living In China, Life Lessons And Experiences by cue64: 11:34pm On Oct 30, 2020
This is the power box I was talking about. You’d find this virtually everywhere around the cities, all you have to do is scan with your wechat or Alipay and one of it will pop out, when you’re done you just find a similar box and put it back in

If you have to deny being a Nigerian for the sake of your mental healthy and to avoid the stigma, please do.

Once again, never ever allow any body dictate what you will post here, this is your thread, post what you feel is right to post about. Any body to the contrary should get the f*ck outta this thread.

OP please, I repeat, dont post on the following topic:
* Racism
* The behaviour of Nigerian in China
* Unduely comparing China to other nation
The above topics can derail this your thread.

so these are the bikes I was talking about, in all cities in china you’d find these type of bikes everywhere, in some cities they the same thing but electric, that one you don’t need to stress yourself paddling, they can’t have those in Gz cos There are too many cars and for safety reasons, when you find any all you have to do is scan with your wechat or Alipay and you Can get them and drive as long. As you want and then when you stop you have to lock it so someone else doesn’t pick it up and if anybody picks it up it’s gonna charge you as long as it is open

Nigerians are an embarrassment worldwide with their behavior.. Some of them even take their cultist wahala to developed countries.. I agree.. Nigerians are one of the people to avoid when abroad..
the cultism problem is everyday here, it’s even getting too much, yesterday morning I was sleeping when my girlfriend called me to come to their rescue, three Nigerian guys held one of her worker and said they want her to follow them, she said she doesn’t want to go and was crying my girlfriend held her and said she won’t go anywhere with you, they kept dragging her and following them anywhere they went, when the girl called her boyfriend, he came and they started fighting him saying all bunch of nonsense. I had to call the police before they finally left, they look for trouble in clubs and when the people react to them, they start screaming all bunch of nonsense, fighting and spoiling people’s business....Honestly sometimes here I deny being a Nigerian cos the shame is getting too much
