She's not really sure of the right date. 15-17th was first EDD from Pri H, then 4th from 1st Doc Pub H and then 25th by 2nd doc from same Pub H. Man just need to be sure so as to prepare. don't fancy her giving birth anywhere

Let her stick with the first date, but daddy delivery is God's due date.

My first baby was giving the end of February and early March. I gave birth Feb 8. Just start preparing from the beginning of the expected month.
She will carry to term and deliver safely.

We thank God for his faithfulness and mercy throughout this journey, it's been God all the way.

I was in the hospital on Sunday because of contractions and I was told labour has started but since midnight contractions disappeared. I'm at home and fine now. I had to rush to the supermarket for shopping amidst contractions. It wasn't funny at all.

For gender, I've got xx and xy. Let's leave it as unknown till delivery.

My incision site is bringing out pus, I went to the hospital to complain 3 days ago and my antibiotic was changed to a stronger one. I was told it's because water enters the site while bathing because it was almost dried up before we were discharged..
I was told to stop bathing for now if I can't control water flow to the site and clean it with savlon and moko spirit.
Please what else can I do to help the site heal fast.

Just do as you have been told in the hospital, don't package the place so much with tight and pant and take lots of fruits .

contractions started on the night of first Jan 2020,I thought it was just Braxton Hicks,cus was expecting to deliver January ending,ignored it,went to buy few baby things the other day,well on 2nd night mehnnn the thing increase,jjc like me don't know it was real labor oo,by 1am,my hubby and I left for a health center close to me,the nurse after shooting his hand in my vaginal,told me to go home that is false,haba, I went home,the thing double, could not sleep,dh too,by six we left to the second hospital that I registered,I was like I don't care whether is false labor or true oo,cut me and bring out this baby oo, something else has taken over my body,the nurse we met checked me and said haa

In my first pregnancy when I felt the weight of the baby coming down, doctor said it's infection because baby is growing to the upper part.
In this pregnancy, when I felt the pressure down I didn't take it serious. Since morning I've been experiencing unrest in my uterus.

My point is report to your doctor to rule out infection and any other cause that might be bringing the pressure down this early.

If it's not giving fowl odour, I don't think there's problem.

Put your wash cloth(small towel) in warm water, squeeze dry to heat the navel after bathing. Also use cotton wool and methyl ated spirit to clean as often to keep the navel dry. Then apply whatever you are given in the hospital.

Please don't cover the navel with diaper, the baby cloth is enough to cover the navel.

We are 3 weeks old today
My baby is literally glued to my boobs all day and night
I am just wondering if this is what it is supposed to be.
I have tried to express so I can get a little rest from non stop breastfeeding but I am not really getting much. I do think I am unable to get much milk due to the pump I am using cos when baby is sucking, you can hear her swallowing like she gulped a gallon of water and when she removes her mouth, you’d see milk leaking.

I am just physically exhausted and tired

I just need reassurance that this phase of non stop feeding will pass.

Mama, sorry about the exhaustion. There's no assurance that it gets better because as they grow bigger they eat more.

I did ebf, and what worked for me is to feed immediately after I've eaten. I don't feed him when am hungry because it's a waste of time, he will keep sucking and will not be filled. This makes my boy gets filled within 10mins. The challenge is that breast milk digest easily which makes them go hungry quickly.
If it's exhausting substitute with formula or buy a good electric breast pump. So your baby don't go hungry and you can also have time to rest.

Most mama's experience back pain in second trimester. Read that the hormone relaxin relax muscles in the body which makes the bones or joint loose.
If the pain is severe, you let your doctor know, rest and take pain relieve.
Most cases being active and exercise strengthen the muscles.

Let your doctor know to rule out other causes.

Most people think as a mother you must experience pain that's why you are tagged lazy because they feel you don't want to endure pain of motherhood. Sorry about that, and take your mind off it because you will still get indirect insults and abuses from people you are not related to.

Give your baby formula now that you can't breastfeed well, you can stop when you are much better, but keep putting your baby to breast, constant feeding will relieve the pains. You can massage your nipples with olive oil to make it soft and ensure your baby's mouth covers the whole black area of the breast not only the tip of the nipples. Support your leg with a stool so you can support the baby's head very well and hold on to the breast so it won't cover the baby's nose. Support your back with pillow to prevent backache. With time you will enjoy the bonding time with your baby.

Speaking in another language doesn't mean abuse but it would have been better they speak in a language you can also understand.

Depression usually comes after birth, I guess to due to hormones and delivery trauma.
Please, speak out about what you are going through to God and your husband. Your husband might not understand at once (most men don't understand especially when grandma's are being negative), keep telling him that people experience different things after birth and this is what you are going through.

If you have any one you can speak to that will be a support system, call the person and speak out so you can feel relieved.

Don't let it get to the point it will begin to affect your health. God be with you mama.

same here. I now hate Coke that happened to be my best drink. I take only Malta guiness when the need arises. I pray it continues this way after pregnancy so I can reduce my sugary drink.

Lol @ continues this way. The truth is that most habit change after giving birth, this no coke might continue.
Let the Malta Guinness be often especially in your third trimester because this sugary products can make baby become big in some mama especially if you are already on the big side.
