all of una thanks for ur inputs! i used "Active.File.Recovery.v7.3.Build.121" it recovered some of my files. most importantly de most recent files. older files seemed to be corrupted. at least it's better than losing ALL ur data.
i remain grateful to God for reminding me of "Active.File.Recovery" and thanks too to those who developed it

recently i did my routine formatting of my c drive (i have 2 physical drives, 3 partitions) to cut de jist short, instead of formatting my c drive as i instructed, it swapped de drive names c to d, renamed my d drive as c and away went all my precious files. i used a file recovery software but not all files are recovered. am even surprised it even recovered some. anyone with better info/solution. HEEELLLLLLLLLLLLP PLS
