I was sceptical about posting this picture plus shy kz of how we looked back then in 2006, me especially looking like an escapee from sambisa Forest. I also didn't want to look like I was famzing with the glory today. However in all, I'm so proud of you Hilda Bassey on your milestone achievement. It has gone to prove that you can use the meanest of things to carve a niche and a name for yourself in the sands of time.
ChizzyBuna: It shocks me how when a yoruba man hits big and get rich they dont marry their yoruba women. Why?? They always marry igbo women
If igbo man get rich he marries igbo woman But yoruba man will ignore his tribe women and go marry igbo women
Davido grandmother is igbo His uncle Gov Adeleke married igbo wife Davido then followed family tradition and married chioma Obasanjo wife that year stella is igbo
Governor Akeredolu marry igbo wife Tinubu son Femi marry igbo wife Otedola go marry Wife Nana from Ghana
Notice how they all dogde their yoruba women once they taste big money..
Mumu post. Yorubas don't marry based on tribe. No matter how rich a Yoruba man is, he marries wherever he finds love. The only thing is 'Many Yoruba guys like lightskinned women' which may necessarily not be an Igbo woman. There are also many Igbo men with Yoruba wives

English is the most widely spoken language in the World. Nigeria alone accounts for almost 200 million English speakers, not to talk of India (2nd most populated country on Earth), USA, and all the Commom Wealth countries which make up nearly half of the World's population.
Ask yourself why home appliances, Electronics, Vehicles and other heavy duty construction equipments have English as the first language on their manuals even when produced in China or Germany.
The Chinese have learnt to speak English by necessity. Go on Tiktok and see most Chinese speaking English fluently.

panafrican: Looks like this Tanzanian is the shortest president in Africa.
Paul Kagame is extremely tall. That doesn't make her the shortest. You can't conclude a person of 5.5 feet is short because he/she stands beside a person that's above 6.5 feet
didroon43: An Igbo man from Anambra state, Allen Ifechukwu Onyema, the Air Peace CEO, has sent his plane to help evacuate Nigerians presently in Sudan as the ongoing internal crisis heightened up.
He has proven once again that Igbo people and Nigerians generally are not bigots.
It is only election period that brings out the worst of us.
You are already a tribalistic and chronic bigot because you mentioned him as an Igbo man, not a Nigerian. That's the more reasons it will be extremely difficult for Igbos to find their spectrum in the game of Nigerian politics. Igbos are only good in business. They should stick to business and grow the Nigerian economy and leave politics for Yorubas and Hausas who are better matured in handling politics.

All these talk talk will end after May 29th. Life will return to normal and Peter Obi's Obidient movement supporters will look for other objectives to accomplish. Infact they'll forget about Obi/Datti
Deprofessional: Please who has information on the date of commencement of hearing on presidential election petition?
Aggrieved Nigerians should forget about all these Election Tribunals stuff. Nigeria is not like Anambra State.
Tinubu will be sworn in on 29th May, 2023. If Peter Obi or Atiku Abubakar were smart, they should have formed a united front to displace APC. But they went seperate ways and shared the votes they would have gotten together as President and Vice
Troubled by the spate of electricity vandalism in its franchise states, the Jos Electricity Distribution (JED) Plc, has concluded arrangements to deploy drones and closed-Circuit Television (CCTV), to tackle the menace affecting it’s facilities.
Decrying the high rate of vandalism, the JED Managing Director Engr. Abdu Mohammed who spoke at the beginning of a 3-day workshop in the city of Jos on Tuesday said the new measure is aimed at curtailing the threat of vandals in the four states of Bauchi, Benue, Gombe, and Plateau respectively.
He said in addition to the drones and CCTV cameras, security operatives have been mobilized and well-detailed to aid the company in apprehending criminals who are bent on vandalizing electricity facilities.
In addition, Mohammed advised communities to take ownership of the installations in their localities, as it will help in safeguarding transformers and other electrical equipment closer to them.
He assured of a steady power supply if the activities of vandals can be halted and also promised that the company will provide more meters for its customers who have not been metered.
Responding to private individuals or companies who would want to invest in meter procurement, the JED boss said regulators now allow third parties, which are nonlicensed operators, to invest in the system through a project agreement.
“Any individual, corporate organization, or community that wants to invest in the system now has the opportunity to do so. A structured repayment program is also fashioned into the agreement”, Mohammed said.
The Managing Director disclosed that the company was poised to meter every consumer by injecting over 417, 000 meters into its network.
According to him, JED has sealed all contractual agreements with meter providers, the world bank, and National Mass Metering Programme (NMMP).
The Managing Director further explained that with the NMMP phase one coming into play very soon, the company is set to meter more of its customers.
“With World Bank Intervention being in process, we expect 305,000 from NMMP phase one and also expect another over 100,000 in the World Bank Intervention program and currently, we have 12,000 meters processed two days ago.
“We have the MAP still in progress with other initiatives in place, our customers will see traction in this direction”, Mohammed said while answering questions from journalists.
Responding to the third-partyvestors, the JED boss said regulators now allow third parties, which are nonlicensed operators, to invest in the system through a project agreement.
“Any individual, corporate organization, a community that wants to invest in the system now has the opportunity to do so. A structured repayment program also fashioned into the agreement”, Mohammed said.
Speaking earlier, Commissioner, Consumer Affairs, National Electricity Regulation Commission, (NERC) Hajia Aisha Mahmud, said the purpose of organizing a 3-day workshop is to educate customers on their rights and any other information they need to know regarding the electricity industry.
She explained further, “Metering is one of the biggest challenges faced in this industry. A couple of years ago, the commission together with the federal government came up with a different Intervention program to make sure that customers are metered”.
The Commissioner further disclosed that the purpose of organizing the 3-day workshop was to educate customers on their rights and any other information they need to know regarding the electricity industry adding that, “We also want to resolve their complaint on the spot”.
No wonder Bauchi State and its LGA's have not been having constant light
I have recently noticed that the Labour Party is just a party of opportunist gold diggers who want to get power through Peter Obi's Obidient movement wave.
I used to like Peter Obi, but I've noticed with the Imo State Governorship primaries that the Labour party also has many rogues in it who just want to use a trending wave to collect power. Imagine having two (2) Gubernatorial candidates in a party who want to contest for Governor. Same thing has happened in some other places

As a child, I used to be very anxious, it's even worse now that I'm a grown man. My anxiety can be so bad that my heart will be beating super fast like I want to die. This even happens when I'm with a woman, or when my woman tell me she's coming on so-so-so date. I've tried breathing technique but it doesn't work.
When I wake up in the morning, I get normal erection, say thirty minutes, after urinating. But when I'm with a woman, I can't perform. The only time I get effortless erection is in the morning. Every other period it's not so easy, and especially before sex.
I used to rely on drugs to help me. But one day, even Viagra failed me. Although, the anxiety was through the roof on that day and I had weak erection that can't penetrate. But when she left, after some hours, my anxiety level went down again. This happens with every girl. I usually don't have sex drive, in fact, it's only when I wake up I do.
I've failed my girlfriend. Although she's been understanding and told me she'll stay if I can find a solution to this.
From test to medicine, what can I do?
You want to kill yourself because you cannot satisfy a woman's vagina. You must be a foolish man. When you die, the girl you committed suicide for will marry another man or be a baby mama for yahoo boys, while you're roasting in hell fire

byrong: When it comes to women's eyewear, there are always new trends emerging. This year's trend is a return to classic styles with a modern twist. These glasses are characterized by clean lines, minimalism, and a focus on function.
One of the most popular trends is the aviator frame. Aviator frames have been a popular choice for years, and this year they are being paired with more modern materials and styles. These glasses are often designed with a thin profile and a slim nose bridge, making them perfect for those looking for a more modern look.
Another trend that is gaining popularity is browline frames. Browline frames are designed to sit just above the eyes, creating a smaller, more youthful look. These glasses are often paired with thin, sleek lenses to provide a clear, clean look.
In addition to the classic styles, there is a focus on functional eyewear. These glasses are designed with multiple functions such as built-in sunglasses, UV protection, and comfort features. These glasses are often worn by those who need frequent eye examinations or who work in environments that may be harmful to the eyes.
Why are these trends becoming trendy? The return to classic styles is due in part to the popularity of minimalism and simple designs. Many women are choosing to wear less complex and more streamlined eyewear, creating a more timeless and sophisticated look. In addition, the focus on function is another reason these trends are becoming more popular. With an increased focus on health and safety, many women are choosing to wear eyewear that offers the necessary features to protect their eyes.
Overall, this year's trends in women's eyewear are focused on classic styles with modern style and function. These glasses are designed to provide a timeless and sophisticated look while also protecting the eyes from harmful light and the environment. Whether you're looking for a classic aviator frame or a functional brow frame, there are plenty of options to suit your style and preferences.
There has long been a notion that Jesus never laughed. Traditionally, paintings of Jesus have tended toward melancholy portrayals of a somber, glum Savior. It is true that Jesus became our Sin-bearer (1 Peter 2:24) and that He “was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain” (Isaiah 53:3). Jesus was rejected in His hometown (Mark 6:1–6), He wept at a friend’s graveside (John 11:35), and of course He experienced the cross. However, this does not mean Jesus never had a lighthearted moment or that He never had occasion to laugh.
The picture of Jesus that we find in the Gospels is one of a well-rounded, magnetic personality. He carried children in His arms—and what child wants to be around someone who never laughs (Mark 10:16)? He was accused of being too joyful on occasion (Luke 7:34). He told John’s disciples that it was not a time for mourning (Matthew 9:15).
The very fact that we humans have a sense of humor indicates that God does, too, for we are made in His image. (The existence of penguins, platypuses, and puppies also builds a strong case for God’s having a sense of humor!) Jesus, as the Son of God, shares the Father’s attributes, including a sense of humor.
As the Son of Man, Jesus shares in the full human experience. We cannot imagine life without laughter; even those in dire circumstances have known seasons of joy. Everyone laughs and appreciates good humor. To say that Jesus never expressed joy through laughter is akin to denying His full humanity.
Jesus evinced a sense of humor in His teaching. Jesus’ discussion of the “log” in one’s eye is a purposeful exaggeration—and a lighthearted one at that (Matthew 7:3–5) Also, the incongruous image of a camel going through the eye of a needle contains humor (Matthew 19:24).
Jesus encouraged joyful laughter, most famously in the Beatitudes, recorded in Matthew 5 and Luke 6. Jesus said, “Blessed are you who weep now, for you shall laugh.” Jesus spoke of rejoicing in His parables in Luke 15—the lost sheep, the lost coin, and the lost son were all found. The result in each case was great rejoicing. Even more telling is that Jesus told these stories as illustrations of the “joy before the angels of God over one sinner who repents” (Luke 15:10).
Jesus had a serious mission to accomplish in this world, but He was not one to be somber all the time. There is no verse in the Bible that says, “Jesus laughed,” but we know that He empathized with us completely and felt all of our emotions. Laughter is part of life, and Jesus truly lived.
DrAbdulSuleman: I have a Yoruba female friend who is now in the medical field making hundreds of thousands of dollars a year and owning her own home.
She refused to marry an illiterate cousin from her parents home village so that he could get a green card .The villagers started calling her parents failures and accusing them of raising a feminist LovePeddler, and they were so humiliated that they disowned her, despite the fact that they had only been back to their home village three or four times in 25 years.
Easily the most reprehensible society on the planet.
Yoruba from which State exactly? Maybe they are Nupe who can speak Yoruba not original Yorubas from South West. Yorubas don't do any of the above you listed whether Muslims or Christians..especially the ones you mentioned called banishment and marrying of cousins
