Religion / Is It A Sin If A Christian Has A Tattoo On His/her Body? by DanceVille: 7:50am On May 09, 2021
Happy Sunday Folks! Blessed one in Jesus name Brethren.

This keeps bulging my mind because have seen some believers that have tattoos on their body and they are strong believers. They have the tattoo when they are unbelievers but after they converted to been a believer, the tattoo still remains because it's a permanent one.

Assuming I have the tattoo of my mother or father or my son/daughter on my body and a strong believer of Christ, does that makes me an unbeliever or does that mean that I need to get the tattoo erased before I can make it to heaven.

I remembered when we were been preached to by pastor then that God says we shouldn't have any form of tattoo on our body, christ sees it as sin.

But the issue now is, let's look at this two different scenarios;

1. I have a tattoo when I was an unbeliever, but converted to a believer and there's no way I can erased the tattoo, does that still makes me an unbeliever?

2. I'm a believer of Christ, strong and faithful to him. But I wish to have an image of my dad/ mum or son/daughter because of the much love I have for him/her, does that still changes me to been an unbeliever in christ?

Brethrens, please let's contribute to this issues and share your opinions with reference to the word of God.

Stay happy ❤️

Religion / Bad Habits You Must Avoid In Church In 2021 by DanceVille: 10:36am On Jan 24, 2021
Happy Sunday to all Nairaland members.

1. ■ Constant lateness to church services and meetings. It proves that your love for God and the things of the Kingdom has grown cold. Wake up before it is too late.

2.■ Refusing to sit where the ushers direct you to sit, it's a sign of pride. Stop it.

3. ■ Always running out to pick calls with your phone ringing out so loud. Switch off or mute your phone as soon you get to church.

4. ■ Receiving calls repeatedly during every church services. It shows where your heart, your values and priorities are. Stop it.

5. ■ Chewing gum or sleeping in church during sermon. Remember the church is neither a cinema hall nor a hotel. Please show reverence to your maker.

6. ■ Sitting down during prayer or praise/worship session without any medical or health reasons. This makes you look very odd and unspiritual. Stop it.

7. ■ Always looking at the church clock or your wrist watch during church hours insinuating that church should close. Please stop it.

8. ■ Chatting and playing games on your phone during church service. It shows you are not spiritual. Please stop it.

9. ■ Always leaving the church before closure for no particular appointment, making others who choose to stay till the end of service feel they don't know what to do with their time. Stop it.

10. ■ Gathering outside the church with other members to gossip or discuss football and politics while service is going on. Stop it!

My beloved in christ, kindly try to lead by example this new year with good character and attitudes and I pray this year will be your year of divine promotion.

Which ones are you guilty of among all??

Nairaland / General / Was My Action Right or Wrong? by DanceVille: 4:41pm On Jan 21, 2021
Evening all to all nairalanders!

Have been contemplating about this issue since when it has happened... Actually, I don't know whether what I actually did is good or bad but would like to know about you guys opinion on the matter.

And please don't mind my grammatical blunders, English language isn't my local language.. grin grin grin

I'm working at a cafe shop and our boss employed both the guy and I. We are staying inside the same room in which the house was been rented by our boss. We do get along with each other and we know how to understand each other without any form of fight.

Last week Friday, the guy borrowed money from me and has promised to return back the money to me when we get back home in which he's a type of person that forget things so easily and very fast. I gave him the money to buy the stuffs he wanted to buy and was expecting him to give me back the money when we get home. But to my surprise, he forgot and I kept mute so that it won't be like I like money too much.

I'm a type of person that saves money because I have a reason working at the cafe and I save my earnings daily without spending it on unnecessarily things.

The guy refused to give me the money later that day and i asked him about it againjl jokingly later after the day but he kept on saying he'll give me and I smiled at him.

It was yesterday evening after we came home and I decided to take the money from his trouser when he was fast asleep. He didn't know I take any money from his trouser till now. He didn't even know that he lost any money and he didn't even mention about repaying me back. Whenever he remembers, he will still say I'll give you back when we get home.

That was an act of stealing but I felt what I did was right in which I took the exact amount he owed me from him back. kiss kiss

Guys, what I did was right or wrong? And assuming you're the one in my shoe, what would you have done?

Please justify my act!

Romance / Guys, Reasons Why No Babe Is Rushing You by DanceVille: 6:19pm On Jan 11, 2021
Na dem dey rush us, na dem dey rush us... but no one is even crawling towards you. Here are reasons why.

It’s the trendy thing to say, following the circulation of a clip from an old Nigerian movie where a guy [who isn’t so good-looking, by the way] says with a laughable pomposity that; “fine boys like us, we, we no dey too look for women like that, na dem dey rush us, na dem dey rush us,"

It’s a hilarious clip with a catchy sentence and has gone viral. So every Tom, Dick and Harry is jumping on the bandwagon, claiming that women are chasing him but in reality not so many guys are being chased, or even being crawled towards.

For a guy in this category, wondering why no babe is rushing him, here are five reasons why:

1. You’re jobless

And of course, broke. If you are like this, chances are that no one will rush you.

It’s true that there are women who are not about the money but even those won’t be too pleased to be with a guy who has no [legit] job. So if you are hardworking and enterprising some will still rush you even if you are broke.

But that is on the condition that you don’t run afoul of the things listed below…

2. You don’t respect women

You won’t be rushed if you don’t respect women. If you are the type who doesn’t have the right manner of approach, if you are not kind and gentle and treat women right, they’ll stay away from you.

Even if you have good looks and that brings them into the yard for a while, it won’t be long before your disrespect and character flaws send them packing.

Women don’t rush guys who are disrespectful. No wonder you are still single.

3.Your social skills is zero

You need to grow your social skills, too. Talking, communicating, meeting people for the first time and leaving great impressions on them… you need to know this.

Your lack of this is probably why you are not being rushed.

4. Your grooming isn't on point

As simple as this sounds, you may be falling short of it and that’s why no woman is rushing you, or even coming close to you at all.

Body odour, mouth odour, disregard for appearance… all this ensures that women hurry away from you, not towards you.

The only thing wey dey rush you… na germs and flies.

5. You're not confident

There is a level of confidence of required to get women running after you. Until you attain that level of self assurance, you may never attract women.
It is important to be in a mental space which makes you feel sufficient and confident in yourself without coming across as proud. If you can project confidence enough without being pompous, there's a high chance women will be drawn to you.

The year 2020 has been a rough years for some Nigerian musicians and had been a blessings in disguise for some musicians in which they broke out to the limelight and got more fame and publicity through their activities in musics.

Albums ranging from Davido "About time".... Wizkid "Made in Lagos" Olamide "Carpie Diem" Burns Boy "Twice as tall" and many more.

Romance / Don't Rush Into Marriage Without You Choosing Wisely by DanceVille: 6:43pm On Jun 11, 2020
Choosing of your life partner shouldn't be based on how rich the guy is or how rich the lady's family is but rather on true love and affection. People tend to chose their life partner wrongly and end up making the wrong decision concerning who their life partner is.

Many people nowadays run into quick relationship and marriage without thinking twice into whether they are making the right decision or the wrong one. Many individuals that ran into quick marriage without knowing much about the partner, always found it difficult to enjoy their relationship. They end up blaming themselves and end up dissolving the marriage.

Don't choose your life partner hastily all because you want to become Mrs Williams or Mrs Ahmed. That doesn't sounds good, but choose your life partner based on true feelings not because of the person's influential or wealthiness.

There's a saying that a relationship or marriage that was based on fake love or love of riches always end up quick and divorce.

Chooses your life partner wisely and song choose because of the partners riches.
