Untainted007: Jesus Christ said, "Resist not evil," for He knew in reality, there is no evil, therefore nothing to resist. Evil has come of man’s "vain imagination," or a belief in two powers, good and evil. Therefore, there is nothing like evil, believe evil does not exit in this life. 1 Like |

Civil servants in Niger State have been directed to proceed on an indefinite strike by the state chapter of Nigeria Labor Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC) following expiration of two weeks ultimatum given to the state government to pay full salary to workers in the state. In a bulletin titled, “Clarion Call” which was signed by the Organized Labour union in the state and made available to The Nation in Minna, all civil servants were directed to sit at home and await further directives. The directive of strike action shows that the negotiations between the state government and organized labor failed. “The Niger State Council of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Union Congress (TUC) hereby directed all Niger State Civil Servant to proceed on an indefinite strike action from Monday 11th July, 2016 (midnight)”. According to the State NLC Chairman, Comrade Yahaya Idris Ndako, the Union has decided to embark on indefinite strike due to state government reluctance to reverse its decision of cutting workers’ salaries adding that there will be no form of protest. He however added that the Organized Labour will not allow anybody to intimidate them, “This time around no going back the strike is inevitable”. However, the State Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello has insisted that there is no salary cut of workers in the state adding that some mischief makers have misconstrued government good intention. The Nigeria Football Federation officials have settled for Frenchman Paul Le Guen as the next Super Eagles coach according to reports. A shortlist of three coaches on Friday: Le Guen, Salisu Yusuf and Tom Saintfiet but few days after have now chosen the Frenchman who will be introduced to the public on July 18 as per Punch’s Pius Ayinor. But while the Eagles manager is being confirmed according to expectations, the position of assistant coach has taken a new turn as the federation could seek an alternative person to work in place of Yusuf who had worked as one of the assistants to Sunday Oliseh. It is understood that as of Monday, the NFF was already in search of a coach to work as the Nigerian assistant to Le Guen. |

According to John C. Maxwell, the author of "The Difference Maker" He said and I quote, 'Great men are not known in the time of peace, its during d time of challenges and difficulty. How long are we going to keep wailing and blaming every govt that take over from d previous one. How long will we continue to play the blame game. I can still remember that it gets dark before dawn. I beg to ask, 'what solutions have we ourselves play to be the change we want in our lovely country Nigeria'? When are we going to take the bull by the horn and prefer solution to ourselves instead of pouring out blame to our leaders. We all know that no govt policy will favour everybody, let's continue the struggle and one day we will all sing in one accord of our great beloved country. 1 Like |

ugohemma: we all talk of our needs, d problem and even exaggerate them as if Nigeria is d only country with problems or we compare our father land with U.S.A. we as a nation must see d problem and also suggest solutions and not criticising nor wishing for secession. |
