Between quality and price, which one among it highly determine the demand for FMCG product.
The reasone why I am asking is because I notice emphasis on #100.00 as the maximum price for FMCG product we want to market from Karin001 and Blackie.
Hence, does that means FMCG product of #150.00 price will have low patronage compared to #100.00 price irrespective of its quality.
Expecting response.

@karin001, thank you for replying. I intend to start fruit juice company in september. I have the practical skills and three years experience from Chi in producing juice too. I want to produce and package the natural fruit juice in 50cl and supply to company staff canteens, local restaurants, school campuses at 125 naira. While they sell it at 150 and make 25 naira profit per unit sold. In term of quality, my fruit juice stand among the best because it is made from fresh fruit rather than concentrate.
My problem now is how do I penetrate my target markets as new producer and what sales model should I adopt too.

Why has CBN and heritage bank refuse to pay our transport allowance to us in the south west yet? Whereas the north has been paid by cash. This is tribalism playing out and we need to communicate it to media.

Fayose, when you keep throwing tantrums at someone and he/she keeps giving you the cold treatment,it simply means that person sees you as a noisemaker/a useless person. If I were you,I will shamefully move on to other things because the presidency doesn't seem to take you serious.

No serious person takes your words as gospel.

If you channel half of the time you use in challenging/seeking Buhari's attention into governing your state,I am cork sure Ekiti will be a better place.

Silly, shameless and uncouth governor.

Can this guy just keep mute and face his main duty as Governor of Ekiti and stop ranting like he is the new chairman of the dead party called PDP.

His ranting are not longer interesting like it use to be. Let him just change tactics.

When was the last time he commision good projects anf picture it for all to see in Ekiti, rather he keeps roaming the street of Ekiti and also attacking PMP at every corner.

Dont worry, PMP is cooking your pot of soup and you will eat it hot with cold Origin.

While for those that want to be violent on a faceless forum, you are wasting your time. You can not do me nothing.
I am just trying to pass a message that you may be facing challenges in your business but know that some don't even have the opportunity you have and they are doing great. Just try to move on and think of other avenue of raising fund. Jonathan is busy bayelsa elections. Youwin is over.

Why don't you ask your business mentors or successful young entreprenuer if any government give them grants?
Typically nigerians depending on government for everything and looking for excuse. I am sure nairaland owner didn't get any grant too and here we are using his forum website. Don't be lazy and think to save your business. Youwin is over.
Business / Re: Youwin Business Competition 2013 by dannB(m): 9:08am On Dec 05, 2015
All youwin3 awardee still expecting second tranche payment should shut up. Most of you are not ashamed, complaining your businesses is failing. Spoilt pampered business owner. If you can not run your business profitably with your first tranche payment, why do you deserve the second tranche payment. You know jonathan is no longer in power to come to your aid. Why don't you print your statement of account and discuss with the bank you have a relationship with. Except if your business has not been a making small profit, bank will turn down an existing business.
For your info, I started my manufacturing business with just 2 million loan from my bank manager to start my business. And the business has produce turnover of 70,000,000 naira per year and net profit of 10,000,000 naira in first year. How do I achieve that? Because it was bank loan I used as start up capital. I knew if I default, I automatically have a bad credit rating by banks in future. That makes serious and maximise the money.
Wake up and smell the coffee. Youwin is over and look for other ways to save your business if you are truly passionate about it. And stop lamenting like a spoilt child.
Business / Ignite Business Idea Concept Is Not Worth It by dannB(m): 8:29pm On Dec 01, 2015
Ignite business idea competition is not worth it at all. I don't know why first bank and the organizers are very stingy. Can you believe that the prize money for winners is 100,000 naira to start a business in Lagos? What kind of business can 100,000 naira start? It is even a loan and not a grant. What got me annoyed further is that I was mailed that I was shortlisted among winners to come for training in Ikoyi. They said there will be no refreshment and writing materials for us. Can you imagine? They think transport fare to go for the training to Ikoyi is cheap in lagos? How much is writing materials and refreshment that first bank and the organizers can not provide for the winners at the training? Infact they are a joke. They had better learn from youwin, tony elumelu foundation for start up, and others about how to conduct business plan competition. You treat contestant with full respect. Rubbish competition. I am ignoring there training invite. Not worth it.

Rubbish business idea competition. What business can 100,000 naira start in Lagos. You invite shortlisted applicant for training in Ikoyi, this friday and you still tell them that there is no refreshment and writing materials for them. You think transport fare to Ikoyi is cheap.
Organizers of Ignite Ideas had better learn from business idea competitions like tony elumelu foundation, youwin, etc. No wonder few nigerians showed interest in applying for ignite ideas. For your information, I am shortlisted but I will not come for the training cause your 100,000 loan is peanut. It can not start my business idea.
For God sake, it is even a loan and not a grant. Nonsense competition.

It is cotonou pineaple that is imported. Nigerian pineaple are grown in our local farm. Nigeria farmers come on this thread and letss share comments on this serious agriculture issue. We can't be importing cars from cotonou and also be importing pineaple from cotonou too? For how long will nigeria continue like this.

@eightsin, you are wrong sir. Cotonou pineaple is far sweeter than nigerian pineaple. Nigerian pineaple is only just richer in fibre. And in juice production, fibre is not necessarily needed since it is just the extracted liquid from the fruit used for processing.
