Unemployment is at its lowest among blacks, women.
People are getting pay rises because of the biggest Tax cuts in American history.

ISIS has been diminished.
North Korea is now mellow and are ready to talk.
Democrats loathe this accomplishments so much that to slow him down, they have to invent a government shutdown because of something not related to the Budget bill in contention.
Democrats are putting illegal immigrants over US citizens because of votes.

Last year at my local assembly i ministered in a song i composed and lives were touched includin my pastor's wife. Fast forwardin this year i relocated and had to leave that assembly, i joined a new one but under the same mission. During one of our general program i heard my former pastor's wife organised a group in the church and they are working on an album. Now i saw that album today its been released and lo and behold my song was the main track word for word , the album was even named after the track. Till now she has not even called to tell me anything. I dont know if there is anything i can do to get something on the song. Woah! |

amarilo: Buhari and Jonathan wasn't the only candidate in that election. Even it was only two of them Jonathan is miles better than Buhari. At least we can use today Nigeria to compare Jonathan Nigeria. Corruption, insecurity, poor infrastructures goes for both Jonathan and PMB but hardship and mass poverty plus genocide goes to PMB alone. Oh Wow! So you are arguing over what's better, death by hanging or death by firing squad? Clap for yourself. 1 Like |

bezimo: It's because the typical 9ja born wives come to the US and see a system that favours women which is surprising to them, they take advantage of the system and begin to misbehave to their husband with the aim of divorcing him and taking his properties..but why because the average 9ja woman is money motivated and propelled by greed. The US born 9ja girls are used to the system and as such have a very low tendency to capitalize on the the system to deal with their husbands.
Like is best recommended..if you bring a 9ja born girl to be your wife in the States..make sure she signs a prenup...which protects the husband in the event she attempts to take advantage of the system to deal with the husband. Heavens forbid women have any rights. Dont they know that they were born to wait on men hand and foot? 1 Like |

kimbraa: Our society encourages laziness and it's not just the girls. You see a 30years old guy still living with his parents and eating his mother's food. I wouldnt necessarily call unemployment the result of laziness. In some cases it could be but definitely not in all cases. The american economy is just so robust that it produces opportunities for its citizens. The govt has created a strong and favorable business environment that encourages investments and allows businesses to thrive unlike your country that pursues horrendous economic policies (Godwin emiefiele are you hearing?) and does not guarantee property rights or have a strong legal system that will enforce business and contract law. This are the things that make or break countries but your leaders don't seem to understand that. 2 Likes |

What other options did the Nigerian people have at the ballot? It was between two poor candidates and they took the lesser of two evils so what are you whining about? If there is something you should be complaining about its he electoral system that entrenched two very corrupt parties in power and until there are electoral reforms Nigerians would be forced to pick between bad, worse, worst instead of good, better, best. This is what you should be concerned about instead pointing fingers at different tribes as if all individuals from the same tribe think alike and make the same choices. 4 Likes |

ArikeBooks: "Abiola was appalled by the insanely long queues that she saw at petrol stations as the masses struggled to obtain gasoline for their vehicles and to power their generators.
She stopped to watch the commotion.
She was puzzled by the irony of a fuel shortage in a country that produced and supplied fuel to other countries. She wondered how Nigeria could be a top-producing member of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), and yet was unable to make fuel available for its own citizens.
Abiola shook her head at the incongruity."

Our problem is that we dont have working refineries in the country. Until the govt sells those refineries and allows the likes of Exxon Mobil, shell and BP to build there own refineries then this will probably continue. We shouldn't have to pay for landing cost of oil in the first if we didn't have to import oil in the first place. Our problems in this country are indeed man made. 1 Like

Business / Re: PAN, NSE Plan $700m Youth Empowerment Scheme by davidif: 8:18pm On Jan 18, 2018 |
BrandSpurNG:
Hundreds of Nigerian youths are expected to benefit from a $700m empowerment initiative being put together by local vehicle assembler, PAN Nigeria Limited, with the support of the Nigerian Society of Engineers.
The scheme, Shade Tree Youth Empowerment Initiative, is designed to provide entrepreneurial skills to interested young people within the value chain of the automotive industry, according to a statement by the auto company.
It said, “The project will provide employment generation, wealth creation, modernization and standardization of practices and skills within the service arena of the automotive industry.”
Already, the scheme would be launched at the company’s factory in Kaduna on Wednesday (tomorrow) as part of its corporate social responsibility programme.
It quoted PAN Nigeria’s Managing Director, Mr. Ibrahim Boyi, as describing the project as an industry-specific initiative for the empowerment of Nigerian youth willing to become entrepreneurs in the automotive sector.
It named the President, Nigerian Society of Engineers, Mr. Otis Anyaeji, as the Chairman of the scheme’s Board of Trustees.
The statement also said that the prototype of the STYEI garage would be inaugurated by the Minister of Trade, Industry and Investment, Mr. Okechukwu Enelamah.
The initiative, it added, would be supported by the United Nations Development Programme through the country director as well as other development partners.
PAN Nigeria recently promised to support the President Muhammadu Buhari administration through the creation of jobs and other measures that could speed up the development of the nation’s economy.
The PAN Nigeria’s team led by Boyi gave the pledge during a visit to the Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo.
Osinbajo assured the team that the administration would always take a responsible decision that would promote and protect the local industries, including the automobile industry, indicating renewed government’s patronage of local products.
Source : https://brandspurng.com/pan-nse-plan-700m-youth-empowerment-scheme/ All this things will not be needed in the first place if the govt will simply liberalize all sectors in the economy and make Nigeria a highly conducive place for running a business. |

Having 'standards' is one of the reasons a lot of people are single, especially when the standards have to do with superficial things like who dey wear wig and who no dey wear wig.
See some people here praising the guy, if things were turned around and Genevieve said she cannot date men that have beards, some people would have jumped on her and taunted her about her single status Wait? You know people in their 20's with kids in secondary school already? Who is raising the men of this generation? |

Chairman INEC, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu and Members of the Commission to discuss issues relating the Electoral Process. The red card movement is a political movement founded by Former minister Oby Ezekwesili which her main objective is to stop the country's ruling party, the All Progressive Congress, APC as well as the main opposition party, the PDP.
While heralding the #RedCardMovement, she said; “Enough is enough,” through her Twitter handle @obyezeks.
“My political agenda is simple. I shall actively campaign against APC and PDP in the 2019 elections except in rare cases where they field new minds with a strong record of public interest.
“I shall actively campaign for the best candidates of all other parties in the elections.
“My individual effort to campaign against APC and PDP in the 2019 elections may not amount to much, but it is at least a definite expression of my personal conviction.
“My conviction is that it is time to end the tyranny of rulership of a wicked minority political elite class,” she wrote.
