When you and your criminal party Poverty Development Party explain what you used $2B for only then will you have any moral justification to question what PMB has done with $1B

Oh, that $2.3 billion?

They shared that with the likes of FFK, Fayose, Metuh, Dokpesi... they even spent some of spiritual prayers

In April 2018 it was reported that the Federal Executive Council approved $1bn for purchase of arms to tackle BOKO HARAM and other insurgents.

https://dailypost.ng/2018/04/04/buhari-approves-release-1bn-security-equipment-fight-boko-haram/

The National Economic Council equally approved $1 billion for the fight against Boko Haram same April 2018.

However, in December 2018, the Nigeria Army through its acting Spokesman complained that the money is yet to be released despite the approval.
http://saharareporters.com/2018/12/03/fg-yet-release-1bn-fight-boko-haram-–-army

We are rounding off June 2019, more than 14 months after approval yet NOTHING has been released to the Army/Military yet, miscreants, kidnappers, bandits, terrorists and insurgents have been having a field day in Nigeria.

Where is the $1bn as approved? Who is sitting on it?

PIX: US Army's Drone Vs Nigeria's Army Drone

1. The president did not approve any money and he can not approve any money until the money is appropriated and consented to by the National assembly.

Buhari Denies Approving U.S.$1 Bn for Arms Purchase

2. The fact that the Army deployed the drone in the picture you posted for that specific operation doesn't mean they don't have bigger and better drones.

3. Where is the sense and wisdom in comparing any drone in Nigeria with the drones in the US? Are we on the same level technologically or militarily?

Maybe Britain and other advanced countries should go and die because they don't have US type drones.

Can we as Nigerians be rational for once!!! Great move by the Federal government I hope they cancel it permanently how can you have 3 seaports in one state when there are other States like Cross River, Delta, Anambra and Rivers State that needs more improvements on their ports we are complaining of a papa gridlock and here we are trying to build new seaports in the same Lagos that is too congested how about moving to other parts of Nigeria must everything be centred in Lagos.. this is the injustice people are crying and talking about...

Your argument sounds very irrational, they already have many seaports in the same region you listed and businesses in that region are still not utilizing the ports so where is the sense and wisdom in building more ports and wasting money in that region?

Need and market forces decides where to site port, not personal feelings and tribal sentiments.

You can not dictate to private investors and their billions where and how to invest their money, they've don their homework, feasibility sturdies, market and profit analysis before sending down their money to invest and build.

So, you don't want a seaport in Badagry, but Ports in Ghana and Benin are already taking away business from us and the same APM terminals they just turned away in Badagry is building a new deep sea port in Ghana just a few miles down the road to compete with us in Nigeria

We should be dominating seaport business activities all over the West coast of Africa, but because of petty tribalism and shortsighted government policies, we are handing over our port money and businesses to neighboring countries.

Governments or public sentiments like yours can not and shouldn't be determining where and how private entities invest their money, turn them away and watch them go elsewhere to build and compete and take away business from you.

If they're cancelling this over its proximity to lekki they can build another deep seaport in Ondo. That governor has been asking for this project forever. Hopefully they get better deal after renegotiating contract. Where is the port master plan?

She sounds confused aren't same project under different names?

She sounds very very confused and her rational for counseling the project sounds very very films and anti investments and development.

This is a very very bad decision and they will lose in any court of law.

The private company and the promoter of the project is APM Terminals aka Maersk, one of the largest if not the largest port developers and operators in the world so saying affiliating this company with any inferior or substandard preliminary port work sounds very fishy.

This company build and operate the best port facilities in the world.

It is obvious that the NPA is carrying water bottle on behalf of other people and entities at the expense of genuine investments and the interest of Nigeria

Politics / Re: My Request To Inspect INEC Server Not Rejected, Atiku Tells Presidency by deomelo: 3:59pm On Jun 25, 2019
JosEast:
The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the February 23, 2019 election, Atiku Abubakar on Tuesday said the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal did not reject his request to check the INEC server as claimed by the Presidency.

Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Assistant on Media to President Muhammadu Buhari, in a statement on Monday had praised what he called a “landmark ruling” of the Tribunal, which “rejected” the request by Atiku and the PDP to have access to INEC server used for the 2019 presidential election.

But Atiku in a statement today by his Special Adviser on Media, Paul Ibe, argued that “What the honourable Tribunal said is that it is still at preliminary stages and the main case has not begun and that the matter of granting access to inspect the INEC server is not relevant to the preliminary stages. It is a matter to be adjudicated upon when the case proper is being heard.” Atiku said the celebration by the Presidency was therefore premature.

“Their giddiness has even blinded them to the eye witness testimony given to multiple media in interviews by staff of the Independent National Electoral Commission that there is indeed a server and that they actually submitted results and accreditation through it. “In their rush to claim a Pyrrhic victory, the Buhari administration missed out the fact that the 2019 budget has multiple line items for procurement, maintenance and service of the server they claimed does not exist. “Furthermore, the statement tried to spin the recent verdict on the election passed by the EU election observers.

For the avoidance of doubt, what the EU report said is that the 2019 elections had significant defects and fell short of expectations. It should be noted that one of the issues they raised is the attempt to muzzle not just the media, but more importantly, the judiciary. “In the light of this, we remind those who are gloating in their ignorance that ‘he who laughs last, laughs best’. “The last has not been heard of this matter and we eagerly anticipate the actual ruling of the Tribunal when the case proper begins,” he said.

They are in court to to determine the existence of a server that they the petitioners themselves can not prove it's existence or how it was accessed, how they retrieved results and the location of the server, digital or physical location, but they are trying to skip over their own main petition before the tribunal to determine the existence of the in the first place to give us access to the server that so far doesn't exist. It makes no sense.

Obviously, either they are confused, wasting our time or just some lawyers making up strategies and filling in the gap on the fly with zero sense of where they are actually heading while pocketing Atiku's money.

The tribunal rejected your foolish and premature demand, a demand that your mature and overpriced lawyers shouldn't have made.

He is welcome! Which nation was looking forward to the Ruling! It is Abubakar Atiku and friends who he said on www he will enrich - obviously at our expense - when he becomes President that looked forward to the Ruling. His strategy is obviously to keep the matter in court for as long as he can so he can remain in the public consciousness till a time as closely as possible to the next Presidential elections when he is sure to give the Presidency another shot. No plausible explanation is there to appeal a decision that says it would amount to making an order in space and in vain to order the inspection of a server whose existence and or use in the transmission of the results is already in contention in the suit. Indeed best to prove in the course of the trial by tested oral testimony its existence, its use in transmitting the results and tender same. Only then can the court properly order such inspection.
In any event, Election Petitions are of a special kind and know no such appeal. The Petitioner must await the judgment and comprise the ruling he disagrees with in his appeal.

You can not force INEC to show you any server because they've denied any kind of existence of a server, the burden is on AtiefkUlooser to show us the server that he retried his transmission info from and it's location.

Btw, the court right now is basically entertaining AthiefKulooser's rights to fair court proceedings, but at the end of the day, they will throw out his petition because electronic transmission of election results is illegal and whatever he retrieved from any illegal server is illegal and inadmissible in any court of law.

You can not secure any favorable judgment with illegal and illegally obtained rubbish with zero weight and consideration under the law

Nice one.. The law did not permit electronic transmission of results, but there was electronic collation of results in the last elections.. Inec is the cause of this confusion and they are trying to back out

The Electoral Bill which mandates the immediate transmission of voting results from polling units to collation centres is not yet operational, and as such, the transmitted result is invalid and any reliance place on it is null and void,’’ the lawyers maintained.

Dr. Ajulo, who is the founder of Egalitarian Mission in Africa, said that the PDP candidate (Alhaji Atiku Abubakar) has embarked on a fruitless venture with the results he claimed he got from INEC server.

Ajulo asserted that the result is not admissible in law, adding that ‘’if President Muhammadu Buhari had signed the amended Electoral Act, which included electronic transmission of results, Atiku would have had a valid case against INEC, but as it is, he cannot even tender the results at the tribunal.”

He said that electronic transmission of result is not recognised by the Electoral Act and, therefore, the result Atiku claims he got from INEC server is “just a piece of paper.”

‘’He can’t use it at the tribunal because the law does not even recognize the transmission of result electronically. I want to believe that Atiku was not properly advised before approaching the tribunal to challenge the results of the election,” he said.

https://leadership.ng/2019/04/27/electronic-transmission-of-election-result-illegal-lawyers/

1. Electronic conduct and transmission of election results is still illegal in Nigeria so, Atiku's server results are illegal and inadmissible, they have zero weight and relevance under the law.

2. Even, accessing government servers to retrieve secured info is illegal to start with.

You said it all. Am still looking for one to proof to me where a server came to play. Voting was done manually. Thumbprinting on ballot papers was used. So am waiting to hear where a server was storing votes across the country simultaneously during the election.

All I hear is server. What server are we talking about here? Except the one containing the data of the electorates which definitely could not capture votes.

Or is someone telling me the ballot papers are electronic.

Atiku is dumber than dumb.

If INEC actually engaged in electronic transmission of results , it means they violated the electoral laws and the whole results and election must be thrown out in favor of new elections.

This is the best case scenario and best option option for Atiku because since his main issue is transmission of election results via a server which is illegal, the server shouldn't be the real issue, it should have been illegal transmission of election results.

.....but Atiku and his lawyers are either dumb and incompetent or they are just playing games and wasting our time.

Wait patiently. Time will tell and the world in large will hear if or not there is server(which can be used to proof a point .

Let me speak a very simple English for better understanding for the story I am about to tell you(benekruku).
As was told(a familiar story): there was a time when a lawyer just to proof a point, when to toilet and came back to courtroom with opened zip trouser(simple pretence). When it was his turn to make his submission to the court, the chief judge discovered that the lawyer's trousers zip was opened and made it know to the lawyer that he forgot to zip up his trousers. And the lawyer also made it know to the court that he did it consciously so to proof a point to the court.
You know the rest. He won the case.

This server's issue, let's wait an see the end.

This case is not and won't be about riddles and drama, it's going to be very basic, it's going to be a simple case of "Put up or shut up" for Atiku.

1. Atiku cannot base his case on mare allegation or by trying to bully INEC to produce the server that INEC can not produce or admit that they have and used in any fashion. The processor can not ask or force the accused to produce evidence to convict the same accused with, that burden is always on the prosecutor or the person making the accusation. The burden is on Atiku to back up his allegation with facts, not other people's den say den say.

2. Atiku and the PDP are the only parties with real or imaginary knowledge per the existence of any server so, at the end of the day, they have to reveal their source from how they reached the server to how they retrieved the content and of course, the digital address and physical location.

At the end of the day, this is what's going to happen, put up or shut up.

He needed turnout of about 75% in South East and South south to neutralize North East and North West votes but his people on ground could not deliver.

If he had relied more on generating excitement via online campaign and social media he would have squeezed out more voters but no road.

Now with the election, did the presiding officers show anyone what they were transmitting? I know the machine is called a card reader which is allowed by the law. Results were counted and collated manually and you guys want me to believe that after the collation, one PO will now enter a certain figure and transmit without any of the agents vetting it.

Exactly what they want you to believe.

The party agents from PDP walked out of the polling units for fresh air while the APC agents cooked up different numbers and transmitted the numbers to INEC's imaginary server and the APC quietly did the same thing in tens of thousands of polling units all over Nigeria

I don't think they see the silliness and holes in their illogical argument.
