I doubt if you can even see below N5 .....anything is possible anyway.
My mind is telling me that people should look well in Zenith, monitor the price movement if you jumped in already and you're for short term, the suppliers might not yet be done..........pls note that I may be wrong.

Don't take any bet ON MY BIRTHDAY, today, the market may choose to celebrate me .... grin grin grin

My fear also. Plus i dont see any value add in Zenith getting bigger within the country. Strategically it wld make more value for zenith to expand into other African market both for diversification of its revenue base and also hedge on stiffer regulatory environment that Nigeria had became

This is worse than the rumor of FBNH venturing into the brothel of Polaris and Heritage.
Forget all the fanciful terms you will be hearing from our in-house Patrick Obahiagbon sounding analysts.

FBNH will be getting Polaris + Heritage almost for free.
Zenith will be dealing with smart guys who have grounds to negotiate.

Happy weekend.

Ovia started out as a clerk at Union Bank, formerly Barclays Bank in 1973. This was shortly after he finished his secondary school. He worked for 3 years as a bank clerk before moving to USA where he obtained his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree. Maybe it has been a lifelong ambition for Jim to one day takeover Union Bank.

The rumour that ZENITH may be about to acquire UNION bank is looking likely to be true. ...including that of a merger between FBNH, POLARIS(formerly skye) and HERITAGE bank.
...I am yet to confirm things though.

We wait to see if there'll be update from any of the banks involved. ...or maybe a denial before an acceptance like we saw with the marger of ACCESS and DIAMOND then. wink cheesy grin

It is well.

OGG, why will FBNH need to take poison to get healed?

Very good analysis. But indirectly they are loosing (time value for money). At least they have DY to cure the time factors...

The problem with your point here is that this 'money' (investment) need high frequency differential calculus every passing day to pin down it's Brownian value on the insipidly distorted value plane, which for now is gravitationally encumbered.... grin

Nigerian listed companies, the poorer the results the better the dividend, IT IS CALLED DIVIDEND TRAP.
Insiders buy plenty shares after poor q3 results when share price is heavily punished, later declare mouth watering dividend, then start to offload.
Forget about disclosure, If I am a board member and borrow Peterichy or Loco 500m as a friend to buy my company stock and we agree to share the loot later, will you ever hear about it? angry angry angry

Some years ago i saw fbnh at 2.97 and i was busy doing calculations upandan, feeling like a guru, thinking i am yet to exhaust all the formulas,na when the stock reach 9 some years later my eyes come clear.

CONCLUSION
Stop blaming village people for all ya matter.Even village people no dey use Almighty formula,na only common sense dem dey use grin

Don't remind me of this. I told my friend about THIS VERY THING YOU WROTE HERE JUST THREE DAYS BACK.
I read one very detailed opinion at that same time, the writer specifically said this was the best opportunity available. He specifically mentioned that this stock will make the bold very rich cos it was going to cross N10. However he gave the timeframe of three year. He did the kind of analysis OGG is a specialist in. I read that report three times in one night, then went straight ahead and SOLD ALL my FBNH and started random JIJO.
By the third year, this stock actually went past N10.
I made some gains in my JIJO, but my patient brokers were the winners here, just for sitting patiently and seeing me coming in and going out of several doors, THEIR patience paid them more than me..... grin grin grin

A point will be reached by this Corona Virus that even your cash will become useless. What is the value of cash if all producers of goods and services shut down. My people, let's use our white stuff beyond this evil virus.
Some people might be scheming all of us already.
How are we not sure there is an effective cure, but the evil men are not done with SHAKEOUT? grin

The vindictive fumigation brazenly expressed on our elders here yesterday, purportedly engineered by a money doubling inspired investment chameleon is unnecessary.
Who engages in a football competition without goal posts and a referee?
A review of how certain processes are carried out by either a bot here is necessary to mask the banalisation and eventual maladjustment of a very veritable orb of productive mental diffusion, a core light point of this forum.
Perhaps it is time to clinically microscope this bot, who knows if it recently got updated from WUHAN.
Let all gamblers relocate to a 'safe' betting site and save us the adrenaline spillage their familiar spirits are oozing out here.
If you don't hear from me after this post, check me @ BOT headquarters, I may likely be undergoing intensive questioning there.
