Ladies, makeup we all know enhances our beauty and it is mostly essential to our dressup routine almost every day. So I just thought I should share some tips with a few on how to make good use of the materials in your makeup kit and store them properly so as to avoid contaminating the materials and leaving your skin with acne and the likes.

The lipstick is one of the most commonly used tool and a lot of us are guilty of not cleaning this item properly. The clean lips hold so much bacteria that can not be seen with the eyes. Making use of the lipstick without cleaning can make this multiply fast and could leave you with irritation and mouth sore, that thing we mostly all conclude is a symptom of malaria which isn't always. So you clean your lipstick with a treated wipe after each use or with an isopropyl alcohol. This too is sold and all you need do is spray on the lipstick after use. The alcohol kills the germs. Note that it is a bad idea to share your lipstick with anyone.

Your mascara should be disposed off every three months. The eye shadow too should be kept clean. Never apply the eye shadow directly from the main content. This can contaminate the entire thing and later leave you with acne and the likes. So it is best to use a spatula to take some of the content into a pallete from where you can apply to your eyes.

The powder puff. Ladies we mostly are guilty of the wrong use of this item. We don't dispose it off or wash it. It is not meant to be used forever. The maximum duration of use should be two weeks. It costs a paltry 50 to 100 naira to replace. Keeping an old one for long can leave us with an unpleasant skin.

Our brushes too should be washed regularly with a mild shampoo and warm water. Don't wash with alcohol as this can damage the synthetic bristles.

The sharpeners and tweezers should be left in a berbicide solution to sterilize it after each use.

The rule is don't paint heavily, wash your makeup off every night before sleep. Scraping off your eyebrow only to redraw a new one with the eye pencil is a big blunder. Its even unhealthy. Exfoliate at least once in a week. Doing all these will reduce the incidences of unwanted spots and acne that are not genetically induced on the skin.

So much for this not-too-publicized city. If you mirror the image of Nigeria as it is on a map, you get a US where Enugu sits like the Los Angeles on the west coast (now east coast on our mirror image )
The city has the potential to compete economically with Lagos on the other end. The serenity, the cleanliness and the luxury apartments are nicee from the pictures.
This is one Nigerian city I would love to visit one day.
