MY OIL MILL MARKET EXPERIENCE...
I was keen on visiting the oil mill market in port-harcourt city, I really heard a lot about oil mill market even in history books. Knowing fully well that I am not the type of person who would just hear about something and leave it unexplored, I decided to check it out for myself! and this was my experience in oil mill market port-harcourt.

The first thing you must know about this unique market is that it is a very big and busy market... I know when I said that you must have thought "oh well all markets are busy" but I can assure you that this one is different. Its so busy because the goods that are sold are straight from the farm. The fresh and relatively affordable goods attract people in large numbers, the market opens only on Wednesdays so people rush to buy and sell supplies the traffic jam that this market causes, affects the road that connects Aba! to Rivers state. 'Eleme' road in particular stays blocked after the market closes. A certain market woman told me that the road stays blocked till mid night! Crazy right?
Honestly the market is big! I walked and walked in the market
pricing things and generally getting into the 'higgle haggle' spirit.
The sun was burning hot but I had no choice than to bear it because the market was very congested.

I was fascinated by the size and beautiful red color of the freshly harvested tomatoes and peppers it was all so exciting!

Fashion / Suit And Tie (the Syndrome) by dgamechanger: 2:58pm On Aug 07, 2013
Suit and tie (the syndrome)

I was in a bus once, travelling a long way from a remote village in the east of Nigeria when I looked outside the window and saw the picture of a man.

He was the councillor of that village and the words on the sign boldly read ”LET US JOIN HANDS AND DEVELOPE THIS TOWN”… Reading those words made me have a sense of hope in the man…but then my smile turned into a puzzled look when I noticed that the man had on a Suit and Tie…

I sat back, put my head on the headrest, closed my eyes, pressed play on my music player and began to think.
I thought of how my hope ebbed away when I saw what the man was wearing.
And then I wondered, how can a farmer ever farm effectively if he keeps worrying about the brand new leather shoes on his feet.
How can a guitarist play smoothly if he keeps worrying about his newly manicured fingernails?
How can a mother save her newborn aqw child from suffocating if she is too disgusted to use her mouth and suck the mucus out of her childs’ blocked nose?
And then I ask myself, how can a man see to the development of a remote village if his Suit and Tie confines him to a chair behind a desk, with a plaster of paris ceiling above his head, white walls around him, refined air from a split unit AC blowing him and a door in front of him that leads him home or straight to the bank.

How does development come when the people that are equipped to make it possible, cyphon the funds to maintain their suit and tie.
It is important to know that the people cannot be understood by someone who has spent his life feeding on the spoils of Urbanization.
Only a person who http://9jaspokesman./

What do they even take us for.i'm just 16, not even yet through with school, and yet our stupid government

wants us to get married to them old fools with pot bellies, who are not ashamed of sleeping with girls not even old enough to be there own daughters. Don't they even get to hear our own opinion?,what we think or say?....common we have right to freedom of speech.i just wonder if they can even hear themselves?.We don't have to wait for our mother's to speak up for us,we have voices of our own and i guess it's time for them to hear that voice. They say we are the future leaders of tomorrow, but yet all they do is aiding in the destruction of our future,we cannot sit back and let them do this to us.but come to think of it,if we allow these old fools take advantage of us,what http://9jateengossip..com

This it the message to the Nigerian youth...

we have been blinded and fooled by our leaders, being played like a game of chess by political leaders, we have sold our rights and voices. we don’t even know our rights in this country because its being dictated for us. the questions is, who are the Nigerian youths? what are there rights? all this i would explain in the next paragraph of my letter.

Some one asked me “whats the difference between the old versions of cars and the newer versions” and i replied “they are faster, smarter, modernized , well equipped, and more sleeker”. now that should be the definition of the youth!, we are faster than our fathers, we are well equipped than our fathers and sleeker. but the Nigerian youths are ignorant of there identity

Politics / Re: We Have All Be Played Says A Muslim Woman., by dgamechanger: 11:35am On Jul 10, 2013
u should understand there extremist, and different kind of muslims,...not all are d same,..d bokoharam is caused by the leaders and not the hausa people.....
Politics / We Have All Be Played Says A Muslim Woman., by dgamechanger: 9:56am On Jul 10, 2013
i went to my usual I.T class last week, the lecturer was teaching when he brought up a topic about bokoharam, and a college of mine(a Muslim woman) by the name Aisha she said "if you know the real story behind bokoharam you wouldnt blame them", saying it was a group used by a certain northern governor(forgotten his name) to rig and win an election, after the election they weren't given the settlement agreed on, then i asked angrily " what has this got to do with the killings of the Christians? was the governor a christian? why are the Christians the scape goat in this matter? if the northern governor cant control there people then what sort of leaders are they?" angrily i continued "why are they bombing only the churches and not the mosque? why are the killing most of the Christians and not the Muslims? what have the Christians done to deserve all this?". then she said "its not just a northern problem, its a national problem" i hurriedly interrupted and said "it has nothing to do with us, its your problem and your leaders should find a way to contain it".and that moment she looked at me, and said "do you think we northerners enjoy whats happening? that she has lost her whole family and shes scared of going back to her place in the north, that she now lives in fear, that why am i being so selfish? that the Hausa(northerners) hates whats happening and all they want is peace, then she started weeping and said that's the problem with Nigerians, we don't believe in one another, cant we see what the leaders are trying to do with us? "THEY ARE PLAYING US" She screamed, and said it again "WE HAVE ALL BEEN PLAYED BY OUR LEADERS" this has nothing to do with "RELIGION", THE HAUSA(Northerners) don't want war we want peace, we are scared, all this is all about "POWER", OUR LEADERS ARE SELFISH, all they think about is themselves and power, nothing else, we are not on there list, the don't care about us if the did, this killing of innocent people would have stopped, that's to show you the extent they are willing to go for power.
then i realized i was been biased, selfish,i felt used by our leaders, i realized the Muslims are no enemies to the Christians nor the Hausa to the igbos, our real enemy was our leader, miss Aisha made it clear to me that we are one, but the leaders are selfish, and the only way we can survive this menace is if we stand as one and say NO to our corrupt leaders.
lets re-unite i beg all of you, we are one and say no to power driven leaders. we exchanged contact. she was a good person who understood the meaning of Love AND UNIONISM.

i was a serious sex addict and now am doing everything humanly possible to reach out to people whom i was like. trust me is not easy to be clean of sex addiction but it requires lots of will, strength, believe and self discipline to be free, so i highly recommend to those whose finding it difficult to be clean of sex addiction, to start by taking a leap of faith and believe in themselves, there lots of book out there you can buy or download for free, it cost you nothing to try and hear what others have to say, i highly recommend this book by prince eagle ''Ten Ways To Avoid Sex''. it really helped me, i pray it could also help you too. you can find it on amazon, and please do tell me about you own book recommendation, thanks.
