Visitor visa
you need to know what to tackle now! You can't reapply based on assumption. Call or send paid mail that you received a blank page refusal decision letter, they will advise properly.

@sammiy seek Reconsideration now since there's Ommission. Your expense vs your disposable income might still be questioned in the next application.

Yes, i explained that i do my savings in dollars and that the dorm account was my savings.
someone suggested i should have ticked additional income but the savings is also from my salary.

if it's still from your salary only, that's not additional income. And If you are addressing the previous refusal, it's the ECO Ommission, because you are still reapplying under same capacity of income and circumstances. You must have been paying in your name? There's still explanations to that. If you are converting your left over disposable income into foreign currency. You can still explain better. How you achieve it needs explanations.

Let me let you know something on checkmate, Incase you aren't telling it all. If the Inflow in a month on your dorm account is above your salary disposable income conversion. You are still not telling the whole truth on the dorm account.

Did biometric on 18th May in Ikeja, Got refusal on 7th July, so confirming that post on if you did biometric earlier with no response yet then most likely you have good news coming.

Professionals please what is your counsel on this refusal, provided dorm account statement with about $5k and stated in cover letter that the dorm account is my savings. Access statement & payslips showed other allowance i get aside salary but it appears the ECO didnt take time to assess application

How were you able to save it overtime? Did you explain it?

Did you State you are also Self-employed or receive additional income from anything or why did you feel that dorm statement was wrongly Ommitted or why should they take it into consideration with your paid employment? Company Customer money? Because there's a hint of no believe. You only said you are employed and that's why only your salary was traced and only your salary account was being considered. You probably Ommitted something on your application that requires them reviewing the dorm account. If it's truely your personal account and you got it rightly, you can do better.

God bless you Giselle237 for your inputs.

Good day everyone, please my passport gots 4 names i.e Surname, first name and two middle names but my supporting documents only has 3 of these names I.e surname , first name and one of the middle name. Hope there won’t be any issue going forward or do I have to do an affidavits stating I’m the same person? Thanks.
list all of them as your other names on your application. As long as Your passport wasn't fraudulently obtained and you don't have contradicting immigration history, you should be fine. That's if you are saying the truth ooo because they have to be genuine and not third party arrangements due to verification sake

Good day Everyone,

My Uk Tourism Visa was refused, do find the refusal attached and please advised on how to fix this.

My brother in the UK was supposed to Sponsor this refused application but we had some Family misunderstanding during the period I was applying and so I decide to Sponsor myself.

We have now sort out our Family misunderstanding and he will be Sponsoring me on my new application. I am planning to Spend 10days during my tourism trip, 2 Days in Manchester to see my brother and stays at his place and 8 Days in London for Tourism and staying in an hotel.

My brother is willing to Sponsor me with £1550. I would also like to include an amount to the expense from my part.

Please guys my question is how much can I add from my side due to my Financial situation stated in the refusal attached?

Any other advice to fix this refusal, will be appreciated, thanks.

The ECO is a preacher of love and doesn't support fight and abandonment. You were avoiding your family both home and away for no concrete Reason (last sentence in the second point raised).

Keep the money coming from your pocket much lesser to the disposable income flagged previously (2month). My Advise. And address your previous refusal diligently since you have both reconciled and he's ready to show you family love and support to your travel through (how you Stated). They point out travel history when they weigh your ties and it's much not convincing, how you choose to demonstrate why visiting the UK other than other countries is much needed, as I know it's important to reunite with a long time seen family if that's tangible sha. Else another refusal with different grammar .

In addition, prove of relationship too is needed. E.g childhood and recent pictures together, birth certificates having your parents names if possible.

Thanks, but what of if the person I want to visit send me an invitation, what and what will I be needed for the travel because it seems like it will be easier and cheaper.
He/She will prove his or her circumstances in UK to convince he or she is capable of sponsoring and accommodating with necessary documents including recent bills and financial Evidence.

But has gotten to DMC
You are to own up to your decisions and it's results. If the refusal comes under no enough ties, which I'm not sure it will, then you can reapply. But if the Refusal says you withheld relevant information, that's ban. if you want to gamble it, it can cost you 10yrs ban and Appeal process which might not still be successful and you will have no choice than to wait 10yrs before you can convince them again you are not a potential immigrant. Weigh your options as you still have chances to avoid ban now. I know the application fee is much, but Appeal process cost more and uncertainty

Can anything be done please?
if decision hasn't been made yet, you might decide to withdraw your application before it's too late. My advise. Your immigration history is part of what they consider. Declaring it won't harm you, they have access to it and will check your change in circumstances with your new application. If you can forgo the application fee and put in new one. Please do that quickly

Thanks bro but can you please throw more light, what it will cost
1. Accommodation (hotel)
2. Flight (any of the above you mentioned) the one that is advisable
3. Should my budget be above 2.5 or 3m?
it all varies depending on the duration of your visit.

Accomodation: visit third party booking sites that accepts free cancelation and check prices for your travel dates. Book down the duration you intend spending. You have to book this down as proof of accomodation and it will be verified by the Decision Making Team. Preferably on free cancelation to be on safer side.

Flight: also visit third party booking sites and select your travel dates. It ranges from 300k-700k depending on your selected travel dates and available flights. It's not compulsory you book this down. But have clear rough budget idea on it.

Feeding....

At the end you will have a total idea of how much it will cost you. With that you might decide to adjust your travel dates and duration to suit your pocket. Know your travel expense before submitting your application as you can't amend anything after submitting.

Please what's the cost of traveling to UK
Depends on your income and travel budget. Everyone's case is different according to their situation. You might choose to sort the below differently.

1.Accomodation (UK Host or Hotel)
2. Flight (Direct or Stop in between)
3. Feeding+Funding Expenses while in the UK

Make sure your travel budget is much less than 2month disposable income because of Disposable Income ECO's if you don't have good travel history to convince in addition.

A lot has changed . I was single , school and no house . Now I own a house , have a good job and am married . I’m the one sponsoring me and my wife trip .
Be proactive. Tackle all possible refusal that may occur from your family circumstances, financial state, travel budget, proof of employment, and the lord will be with you.

Letter of refusal
I'm not an expert or know much. But you are having outstanding of almost £500 yet to be cleared. Clear it first. Your solicitor letter said you have an agreed payment plan, you didn't submit documents available to backup that claim.

You said you are self-employed, the business registration document submitted was only demonstrating your husband self-employment not you. So if your bank statement is having other deposit asides salary, you have automatically failed to show that it's from your self-employment or you are truly self-employed. The Business registration document is for a company and you are not part of the partners asides your husband.

And the income derived from the company too is not available for your husband alone, if you think you will submit the company statement of account. He's not the sole proprietor of the company.

There's no how you can use your husband company account statement, asides using his personal bank statement reflecting income from the company account showing the company name. Then he can demonstrate that they are available to him for his personal use. And please asides the Company Business registration, there are other documents to demonstrate that the business is active and trading to the point of application. E.g business trade Invoice, income Payment Receipts etc.

God bless you giselle237

The useless UKVS for flimsy reason refused my application. Despite earning Abt N14m per annum.

Provided all documents, employment records and bank statement.

The confirm all documents submitted and got a positive response yet the baggar said he/she is not convinced that i will return as some of the deposit in my account statements are inconsistent.

Account statement that i use for Salary alone.

some ECO state the date and amount received which might not have Salary remark whatsoever.

thank you I have a letter of permission sent to my mail by my employer replying to My request to extend my leave due to Nigeria being on the red flag of the UK and no flight was coming into or out of the UK to Nigeria and vice versa...it also addressed the fact that they understand I didn't intend to bring the virus over to Nigeria or to contact it in Nigeria....do they said they gave me till the middle of the year to resume back to work which is last year June...they also stated that I have used my 2021 annual leave like that....and that's it I didn't travel last year because I have used it...I will have another
leave ending of this year....
necessary documents backing it up and a cover letter addressing it properly will be better.

Dude you DO NOT NEED TO EXPLAIN WHY YOU SPENT 5 MONTHS! Make a regular application and submit.
when you applied, wasn't the Visa approved based on ties, wasn't Job employment part of it, now how were you able to stay off your employment for 5months? Is it a remotable Job or the applicant is no longer employed? How were you able to survive 5months in a foreign land in a situation that you don't have family there if it was stated. That's when doubts comes in.

so the conclusion now is that I should not bother to apply for UK visiting visa ?
you can apply, but explain what you did for the 5months or what made you stay other than what you stated in your entry form inside the cover letter you are submitting, else you might be refused because of that. Thier refusals is full of doubt doubt doubt.
