FuglyGurl: Most comments here validate my thoughts in this post below. Seun is chasing shadows riding on Elon Musk's tweet to drive traffic to his Nairaland forum, which he has allowed his inept and bigoted mods to ruin for good. https://www.nairaland.com/7749631/time-build-social-app-nigeria |

Sequel to the flip flops of Twitter, the recent policies created by Elon Musk and the growing tech sector in Nigeria, I can't agree less with the views of this Twitter user in the link below. Thinking about this, @Seun Osewa's Nairaland came to mind. If there is any tech entrepreneur that stands th best chance to build a social app to compete with Twitter in Nigeria today, it is @Seun. I need not give reasons. However, does he know how much some of the type of hands he hires to moderate some of the forums kill his chances? Seun, if you are reading this, remove unprofessional and bigoted mods/employees from Nairaland and drop hiring such. If you intend to grow Nairaland to a global social platform or stand the chance to do something bigger, you need people that have the global mindset to support your vision. https://twitter.com/chude__/status/1675502886480953344?t=rrBR2PMao67T050dhUFXCA&s=19 1 Like

abc115: Americans when addressing the POTUS calls him Mr. President. I real am confused about this headline. What is wrong with that? Them man spoke like a globally exposed person, same way he would have addressed the president of any county. I don't know why he had to delete that even if it was to look good to pacify his accusers. |

Arrewa: You wicked extremist boy, this has been your habit and interest for all the years you have been on Nairaland. I wish you can make your identity known, even on Twitter you had to hide under one "Arewa Community" handle All what extremists like you care about is to find where humans have achieved some progress and development that is enviable and then plan to come and dominate and rule over the people with your backward extremist and non-progressive ideologies. Just look at the nonsense that is worrying you that you are fighting for on Twitter you shameless boy. Nigerians are suffering, you will never be found making any comment or intellectual contribution on how their lives can better. It is always bigotry and Islamic extremism that you hop from thread to thread harassing people about. You should be banned from Nairaland. 6 Likes |

Emperormartin: You spoke my mind spot on. Even the MOD, I don't know how old he was in 2006 when I joined Nairaland. The bigotry and distasteful partisanship begs for an alternative. Seun has no idea what it means loosing credibility for his over 2 decades investment to a good competition. 1 Like |

CondenseMilk: It makes even more profit when it is non-partisan. We know many media houses that have been boycotted for becoming boring and offensive tools serving the interest of politicians. |

Seun, you and your moderators appear to have taken a firm position to be a media stooge and an instrument of partisan politics. You keep giving selective endorsements to all sorts of unverified and unauthoritative opinions serving the interest of this incumbent government. The media is powerful, the beauty of it's power is it's bold stance for the truth, acting as the standard for social conscience. This power of course can be corrupted, but the real power then has been lost when it is corrupted to swerve to serve personal or partisan interests. You have the power to use your platform for what you care, but you can't stop it from loosing the power of it's credibility. Look at the topic you guys gave endorsement on the front page where there is ongoing Tribunal. https://www.nairaland.com/7743271/atiku-obi-lose-election-petition What type of irresponsible journalism is this?? Hide this post or let some APC hirelings curse as usual, but the truth stands and the repercussions and loss of your credibility can't be stopped. 2 Likes |

Enenim: This outcome is far too good for what I had feared may happen to that boy. I wasn't sure if he would see the end of the year alive. Most of his pranks could get him killed by terribly annoyed or terribly scared victims. The boy is heavily demon possessed. |

There is a major development plan crisis in Nigeria. Regulatory agencies are too corrupt and nepotic to do their jobs. Even when we eventually get the leadership of Nigeria in the right direction, all our cities will have to undergo a difficult redesign and painful demolishions if they must become 2nd or 1st world cities. 75 Likes 8 Shares |

Likoya: Why are you APC people always abusive. The guy you are accusing of working for the West is trying to have a descent conversation with you and you resort to being abusive. You always show yourselves even for matters that do not concern Nigeria just to pick sides with dictators and criminal leaders. 4 Likes |

Likoya: I'm surprised you APC people extend your fanatical love for bad and oppressive leader to even Russian/ Western rifts. You see life in pararell and automatically pick sides with any county that believes in dictatorship and criminality. Na wa! 2 Likes |

Felabrity: You see this stupid fellow, I ran just a little search on him and his information including bank details and his very poor life is all over the internet. His Nairaland profile name is Topclems and his posts here are full of hate and bigotry. I don't get how such a low life would be the one going about cyber bullying people when he isn't even smart enough to do it anonymously. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

Previous thread: https://www.nairaland.com/7738425/kabir-bala-okwo-shot-dead This guy masterminded burning alive the PDP women's leader during the last governorship election in Kogi State, remember? You will see clearly from the picture that he is wearing an APC uniform with Tinubu's insignia on it. He apparently fell out with the powers that be and got taken out. This is why Kogi people took the news with mixed feelings. Either way, he that kills with sword dies by the sword, but the bigger criminals that used and discarded him roam free today. Wisfem: Spot on! Selective punishment of political appointees like Emefiele and EFCC Chairman while letting the politicians that used them free? Removing subsidy and implementing policies that increase taxation and sarcrifices from the masses without cutting wasteful excesses, cost of governenance by public servants and corruption? How can corrupt politicians that have no will or intent to deal with these issues square and fair move Nigeria forward and people fall for their propaganda 2 Likes |

Opiop: Why do you pity Nigerians that fall prey to propaganda? It is true that politicians have weponized tribalism, religion, illiteracy and poverty so terribly, but I am shocked how the people's COMMON SENSE refused to work. Propaganda has an expiration date - when the suffering becomes so bad that the lies cannot hold anymore, usually the victims are the gullible that refused to learn from history and get COMMON SENSE. 1 Like |

A blind man finds a way to do the unthinkable to survive through hardwork and sheer determination. Some able bodied do-no-good idiots are in same Abuja stealing and using every opportunity they find to make life miserable for other Nigerians. Life indeed no balance at all. 1 Like |

gidgiddy: I agree that the architecture of security is largely wielded by the Federal government. But you know there are some governors that will not have this mess thrive in their states. I don't like Wike, but I've seen him control all arms of the government - legislative, judiciary and the law enforcement which is under the executive which are pretty much influenced by the Federal government. Meanwhile, to show you how weak the former Benue State governor was, the state is sorrounded by three other middle belt states - Taraba, Nassarawa and Kogi. How do these people get past these states to find Benue State people as easy targets? |
![]() |
Let's see if the new Benue State governor has any balls or ideas on how to stop this madness. Like Benue and Platue people are born and raised to be massacred at will without consequences. 2 Likes |

N3TRAL: Of course, because you copied it from a WhatsApp group. Plagiarism check ko. You can't be a practicing learned lawyer and be using "F" words and being abusive all over to drive your point. Is that how they taught you to prove your point as a lawyer?? People dread to engage the fact and issues based intelligence of 'real' lawyers my friend. |

N3TRAL: Even a half brained person can tell that you copied this information above from somewhere and I can argue with the reasoning of the writer. I also see the experience in his writing and the point he made. This regular "legal parlance" he explained is different from the impression created out of the news headline at the front page conversations by your abusive likes interpreting it as that the LP legal team were stupid, made a mockery of in the court room and chased away. Lol. Look at your own different style of reasoning and viewpoint in the next post you made right below this copy and paste. So empty and abuse. 1 Like |
