Is this not contradictory? The headline says the girls were released by BH, while the body of the report says "It is not yet clear how the girls were rescued". Poor reporting!

"In summary to all I've said, I would implore fresh students coming in, to have a book to write down details of your results. Nobody told me this, but experience taught me in the hardest of way. Thank God it wasn't worse and I'm smiling over it today".

I was not only writing down my results, I was also doing the GPA and CGPA calculations myself.

your own better ... mine was similar, i thought i was going to graduate with distinction, but to my greatest surprise my CGPA was reduced from 3.72 to 3.43, not only myself but all my class members, a friend CGPA was reduced from 3.99 to 3.49, the guy wan faint, reason been that too much of students had distinctions and cant be allowed.

thought of getting a lawyer but when i remember many of my friends that passed out with pass nko, i sharply changed my mind. i thank God

How can a school, a department or lecturers reduce your CGPA just because they do not want too many students to graduate with distinction and you let it go just like that? Except you are not sure of your CGPA calculation. The worst that can happen is for the lectures to deliberately reduce your grade. For instance, where you are meant to be graded A, you are graded B or C which will eventually affect your CGPA. But for anyone to decide that a CGPA of 3.72 should be reduced to 3.43, it sounds strange.

These people are really learning fast from Nigerians, pull down the opponents at all cost. This reminds me of the series of verbal attacks, negative campaign adverts on TVs and radio all across the nation during the 2015 electioneering process.

The country is that bad right now.

I always advice whoever cares to listen to learn a skill.

Your suggestion that people should learn skills is in order. Pray that the country get better not worse. People still get jobs despite the situation of things in the country.

The last paragraph of this write-up which says "Whether he does so or not other governments that will come to power in the future in this country will not only get the necessary answers but they will also do the appropriate thing and bring them to justice. It is only a matter of time" is what interests me most and I pray for it to happen fast.

only in Nigeria do we celebrate mediocrity as achievement. someone above me is celebrating this as part of change. I weep for my country and her citizenry. change would have began with him if he used his official car and convoy with their normal waoo waoo waoo noise from owerri to kano. pass through Enugu -Onitcha road and Benue -Lokoja rd. By then we will really know the change has come. APC till 2050 ni, till infinity ko. Saraki has just been freed and these APC zombies still believe the change is here. na okada change de here now .mtchwww
I forgot that change also began with Buhsri by promising to sell our common property in presidential jets. those jets are owned by the whole Nigerians which means the president can't have access to them once he's no longer in office. so for Buhari to promise to sell them, I don't see any change there. change will begin with him once he returns his children to usman danfodio university to continue with their studies. until then, all na scam

I concur with everything you said here but your argument that the president should not sell the presidential jets because they are owned by the whole Nigerians is wrong. What is the extent of keeping 10 jets in the presidential fleet? If possible, they should sell 6 or 8.

Are you saying that Tinubu is not intolerant and will not crush anyone standing in his way
Shall we ask Engr. Funsho Williams who was brutally murdered in 2006 to make the elections in 2007 easy for Tinubu's surrpgate?

You are still missing the point. You brought in the issue of Tinubu in your first comment from the context of rotation of power within a family. That is what I reacted to. Most of our politicians are intolerant even the present occupant of Aso Rock. However, please do not make allegations when you have no evidence to back them. The killing of Funsho Williams is yet to be unraveled like many others. Most, if not all our politicians are greedy including Chief Bode George. So, I do not fall for such rant.

Just like the Jagabandit of Bourdillon was needed (past tense) to checkmate the excesses of the old thug, Ebola Owu in 2003-2007, Fayose is also needed to checkmate Bubu and our Asiwaju Asiwere.
However, we, the PEOPLE need to keep him (Fayose) in check so he does not become a MONSTER colonialist like Ogbeni Ojuyobo.

You are missing the point, I am not talking about his criticism or voicing against the federal government. I am talking about his all round intolerant attitude. Fayose will crush anyone that stands on his way. Go and check his records. Now to the issue of Tinubu fielding his family members in positions of power, I am not in support of such but when you think deeply you will realise that an average human being is selfish and has the tendency to behave like Tinubu. Take a look at the Sarakis. The father, Olusola Saraki was once a senate leader. Bukola Saraki was once a governor of Kwara, now a senate president. Gbemi was once a senator. She even contested for governorship and lost. All from one family. Obasanjo was a president while the daughter also served a commissioner and minister. Most former governors are today serving senators. The eldest son of Gov. Theodore Orji, Chinedu Orji is the majority leader of Abia state house of Assembly. The list goes on. Even outside of the shore of this country. The Bush family in America is a case in point. The Clintons are also going the same route. So, human beings are naturally wired to be self centred.

Seriously I smile anytime I read comments on this platform of people praising Gov. Fayose. Most of his praise singers do not know who he is truly. Fayose is deadlier than people think. Those who were around during his first tenure will attest to this.

I think I read somewhere in this report where the minister said "the Federal Executive Council (FEC) approved the concession of the stadia in 2012." So why blaming the present administration? For trying to implement the concession plan I guess? For me it is a good move sha. Experience has shown that our governments can not manage anything profitably.
