Damn!

What a gut displayed by PUNCH.

History will remember you right for being the first media outfit to stand up against this tyranny and call it by it's name.

I hope Sun, Vanguard, Thisday, Leadership, Premium Times, Channels, AIT, and all media outfit will follow suit.

But as regards Sowore, he is on his own. He's a big fool being punished by Karma. He worked against GEJ for Buhari. Let him enjoy the saviour he heralded.

Now, you would wanna question why I can't get past 2015, it's simple. GEJ ran a government of vision with short, medium and long term visions backed by measurable policies.

I never benefitted from his govt nor do I have anyone who did but Nigeria was moving in the right direction. All indices were pointing positive.

But Sowore chose to amplify little pitfalls and made look gigantic. Let him enjoy.

On another note however, I really wanna understand the God or whatever GEJ is serving...

Dude moved from lecturing to Deputy Governor.

Something happened to the Governor, he became Governor.

Then he became Vice president.

Something happened to the president and he became president.

Now, all those who worked against him have tested a pill of their own..

Atiku
Saraki
Kwankwaso
Dino Melaye
Many of them.

Really, who is Goodluck Ebele Jonathan?

I used to have a colleague who said over 8 years ago that jonathans head was "very strong" if you understand what that means. That his enemies always end up in trouble.

we are waiting for tinubu's.

A J has a better reach than Ruiz. AJ ran around him and avoided close contact. Ruiz weight didn’t help him in that regards As well. He couldn’t close in quickly to use his fast punches. However , wilder has reach and speed.. The fight with AJ would be interesting if it falls through , though my money would be on wilder .

Any one who has watched both men closely without any sentiment would put his money on Wilder for sure.

My advice to AJ is: Avoid Fighting Wilder.

It is not by force to fight him.

saxywale1:

Wilder was fighting bums and jorneymen.

AJ was fighting professionals and world class boxers. He took a lot of risk in his careers. Those Belts dont come easy.

Wilder has knocked down everybody he has fought with including fury. Fury is the best at defense in the heavyweight division at the moment, but wilder knocked him down twice, and it took the grace of God for fury to stand up the second time.

None of the people AJ has fought has a punch as heavy as Wilder's. And landing those heavy punches on every individual he has fought is no fluke, it's strategy. You can be sure if they fight, he will land it on AJ and AJ will hit the canvass.

To be honest, if i were AJ, i will never fight wilder. my last busstop will be Fury.

Deontay Wilder is a beast.

Sad but true. The time is now . If we all don’t come together to fight for our freedom they will keep taking us one by one. This is Kidnapping and not arrest. What is about to befall Nigeria is going to be a hard one. I see it coming already. The world saw the video of the kidnap today. Broadcast live from Arise TV.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but w can never all come together its impossible. Our motivations differ. For some its tribe, for others its religion. Regardless of the situation in the land, many cannot see governance beyond those 2 things. And many of them are very educated.

We are not one people. And only those who are one can make progress.

Why would a man who knows he would leave power one day, either by law, force or natural causes be so determined to make a mess of his name.

I do not know how you evaluate issues, but the reason why people ask for resumes is to analyze success rates at previously attempted tasks from school and past employments. Based on previous performances, the prospective employer will be able to deduce if the person has been a serial performer or not. The better your resume, the most likely it would be that you will perform on the new Job.

However for the highest positions in states and federal level in Nigeria, people mount positions without any iota of evidence of past performance, but on stupid sentiments.

Its obvious a Tinubu or an Alao Akala, perhaps even an Adedibu might be able to convince you with that statement that you just made that they would be better presidents than Adesina.

Noru nwayo nwoke m.

If Ganduje pockets Dollars and Buhari decides not to convict am, Buhari will be impoverishing the people of Kano state the more because even more state funds will be embezzled for free.

Look at the brighter picture. The stolen wealth, you have no share in it. Only Kalu and his families do, so what is your fuss?

You are fighting to protect an armed robber who doesn't give you even a paltry sum.

We must do self-introspection and do away with this kind of politicians if we must project the SE forward

The realists are happy with this. Even if Buhari or EFCC is doing it to marginalize the igbos, it is the best form of marginalization. If our political office holders are thrown into prison for embezzlement while others from other regions are not, it is better for us. Our leaders will use our monies well for fear of being imprissoned after office. in a while we will be a much better people.

More of such "marginalizations".

The greatest threat to democracy in any society (advanced or developing) is tampering or obstruction of judicial processes. The America society is what it is today because of landmark judgements and excellent delineation of the judicial branch as absolutely independent from other branches of government. Nigeria still has a long way to go, but judgements like this, take the country one step closer.

Very apt.

Everything falls in place when the average citizen will get justice when he is wronged.

Nickisindigo:
so person wey no get job is expected to pay tax

No one is going to deduct tax from your account. The idea is to give the tax agencies access to every nigerian's account. When that happens, it becomes easier for these agencies to bring people into the tax net.

For example, LIRS can request that banks give them a list of customers who have a balance or (and) turnover of N5m in a 12 month period. When they get a list of these customers and their corresponding Tax Identification Numbers, they can now check through their own records to verify if they are all paying taxes. If they are not paying taxes, it becomes easy for the agency to track them. If they are paying but not in consonance with what their accounts are showing as income or potential income, they would be investigated.

So those with little transactions on their accounts like the unemployed or students will probably never be disturbed by the agencies because there accounts will hardly fall into accounts that would come under scrutiny.

Altogether, its not a bad idea. The only challenge there is the fact that most nigerians are not willing to pay tax and for good reason too.

Why would anyone want to pay tax only to have tax payers money lavished by people like Tinubu, Okezie Ikpeazu, Yahaya Bello and the likes?

So most nigerians are likely to start hoarding cash in their homes, and will use the banks minimally.

What I think the Senate should do is to make sure that the loans are used to execute developmental projects that have the capacity to impact our lives and also have the potential to raise revenue so that we can be able to quickly pay back.

How many years do you need to live in nigeria to know that less that less than 40% of that amount will actually be utilized in the real sense of the word?

what the government needs to do if they are truly willing to upgrade the infrastructure level is to get the lenders to build the infrastructures themselves. That way, no nigerian will have access to the funds. We shall only supervise to ensure that all the projects meet the specifications. Anything other than that is just wickedness on the part of the buhari and his henchmen.

See, support get levels. This buhari you people are supporting up and down the whole place has lived long enough, and if he dies today, he wouldn't have been shortchanged by God. If he continues on this path, you and i that will be here long after he has gone will be suffering needlessly for it.
