Lanky, yes but look at that face and the features.

Buhari has always been a handsome man no doubt. However, his facial looks didn't rub off his heart one bit. He has a very ugly heart.

I suggest Amaechi and other ministers of Igbo descent tour Europe to familiarize themselves with our people over there, and give them the opportunity to celebrate them just like those ministry staff are doing.

Herdsmen are killing people
Boko Haram are slaughtering people
Niger Delta militants have turned Rivers into a mortuary
The economy has stagnated and hunger is killing people
Armed bandits everywhere
Inflation is high

But what some people would rather comment on is the few pushes and a torn shirt Ekweremadu suffered in Germany?

Ekweremadu who was a nobody until he found himself in the corridors of power in 1999 and has been there for 20 years enjoying himself

Abeg me we hear word!

Bush had a shoe thrown at him, nobody made noise

Jonathans convoy was stoned in the North, Buhari was stoned in Ogun

Why is there so much noise about Ekweremadu?

They even carefully avoided punching, kicking or slapping him o. Just small pushing here and there, tearing his clothes, and pelting him with eggs, and people want to roast IPOB for that

That man is Gilbert Nnaji. Enugu Career Politician. From LG chairman in 99 to house of rep in 2003 to Senate in 2007 - 2015 without sponsoring a single bill in the Senate, was never heard speaking on the floor and did virtually nothing for his constituents other than declaring a carnival in Nike when his wife in her 40s died. As we speak, he is warming up for the governorship seat in 2023.

If IPOB beat him up now, say in Austria, they will label them miscreants.

Nigeria will never be good again aswear.
I thought the Ekweremmadu saga was a cue for a serious revolution for all well meaning nigerians who have been impoverished by our corrupt politicians. But No, somehow IpOb is the villain, and same politicians are our heroes.
Truth is, if Nigerians, especially the northerners and westerners have been giving their politicians this kind of treatment, Nigeria would have been a heaven by now.
But it's only in the East, the land of the wise that you see people behave as rationally as this. Y'all have been castigating the IPOB, but has anyone really sat down and asked himself why they are agitating. If Nigeria was working, do you think Ipob would be agitating for a sovereign state?
The truth is: When Biafra gains her independence, it won't take more than 20 years before US and Europe will come and see what a developed country looks like.
If Ekweremmadu was not an Igboman, they would say it's tribalism. some useless groups would even have started issuing hateful statements and beating war drums. But lo, Ipob attacked their very own. That should have been a lesson, but no, there are more cows than humans here.
Sorry for this zoo called Nigeria.

The bolded isn't correct.

We too have been very accommodating of the political class just like other regions have been. It's the advent of IPOB that has changed the narrative in recent times.

You were expecting a former military head of state with a track record of intolerance to become a democrat at old age right?

It's unfortunate that many respected activists in Nigeria don't understand the principle of a lesser evil. If they did, they would never have supported buhari in the first place.

Just look where we are today.

He should've just concentrated on the SE political class. Many of them would've been retired after the 2019 election

Same IPOB followers supporting FAYOSE when he was a governor are now his enemy based on the comments on Ekweremadu, when NIGERIANS STUPIDLY support the BIG POLITICIANS without using their Common SENSE this is what u get,FAYOSE thought Nigerians abroad are like beggars and area boys you have at HOME where u give them sachet of garri, rice and beans because they have been terribly Impoverished and lost their sense of thinking, by the time this type of action is turned on all those thieves we call political leaders this country will change for better, EKWEREMADU EARNS 15MILLION MONTHLY, MULTIPLY IT BY TOTAL NUMBERS OF YEARS HE HAD SPENT IN THE SENATE AS DEPUTY SENATE PRESIDENT AND SEE HOW FAT IS BANK ACCOUNT IS,SAME APPLIES TO FAYOSE AFTER LOOTING EKITI STATE AS GOVERNOR, yet some senseless Nigerians without a kobo in their pockets who do not know where their next meal will come from will come and be supporting them

your overall comment is great, but the first line is not appropriate. Fayose was supported for being one of the lone voices that spoke out against buharis obvious misdeeds at a time many of his colleagues were trying to dine with Buhari. For that, he earned the support and respect of many and still enjoys such till date. It doesn't mean if he does or says something wrong, he should be tolerated.

Even true friends and family praise and reprimand themselves continuously.

I don’t understand how any sane citizen of Nigeria would condemn what happened to Ekweremadu. Some 1% of over 200millions decided to stand up to all these years of oppressions and y’all taking sides? Naija which way? Some people are even saying he’s an elder with children. Useless children that can not tell their parents to eat small small, stupid children wey no go follow una enter public transport, school here or even get treated here when sick.

Sowere no supporter, Charly boy no support, 2 face no support . Who is going to die for this nation that’s not going to die in vain? Any Yoruba man that talk about respect for the elders concerning this matter is a low life. It’s obvious we can never achieve a goal together in this country, if they (the politicians) know that we are together on this, just this one event! It can change many things but no. Stupid people are too divided to win the war.

What happened to Ekweremadu could happen to any of y’all politicians especially you Fayose.

A real Nigerian should be stoning any Nigeria politician at sight. Doesn’t matter if the stoner is IPOB or the person being stoned is Ekweremadu. And no they are not pigs or anything you have just called them. Y’all are the ones that’s shameless and vision less. It’s yall freaking politicians that has let y’all greed consume this nation. Now everyone is leaving this country because of y’all misrule. You people will kill one another for a position y’all know nothing about. Very shameless people. Fayose defending another politician is pathetic

nice one brother.

Every passing day, i get to see why it seems God is not answering prayers for a better country. Most nigerians are not ready or do not know what it takes to have a better country, and by consequence would destroy a better country if they had one.

As a father, if my children gather and beat me up, i will go and ask myself questions before condemning them.

i honestly dont understand it. Ekweremadu is from my state, and i am not a big fan of IPOB, but i am very pleased with the beating.

Almost all nigerian politicians deserve such treatment. You mount the position of leadership to enrich yourself leaving out the service you were elected to render and you expect people to worship you.

Just imagine what the likes of Jakande and the governors of his time achieved in 4 years with much smaller resources and compare it with the rubbish they are doing today, and you will actually realize that they all deserve to beaten by nigerians mercilessly.

Since we cant do it here in nigeria, because you will be arrested and locked up for almost a lifetime, let those abroad help us to do it.

What Ipob and other well meaning nigerians abroad should help us do is to plan for bubu and other leaders that show up in town, and give them the Ekweremadu Treatment.

Wicked people.

Is it right for an adulterer to bring an illegitimate child into the house of God for christening?

If you can answer this question correctly, then you will agree with me that many churches are leading their members to hell.

There is nothing wrong with it.

The illegitimate child was created by God. God cannot reject any of his creatures including the adulterer, not to talk of the innocent child.

My bother is the state of mind of the mother. If the baptism is for a show, then it's a pity. But if she is willing to live by the promises she made on that alter, which is to raise that child in the ways of Christ, with the help of the Godparents, then we rejoice.

For that to happen, she must have repented from her adulterous act, and with Jesus, old things have passed away.

The case is still very sketchy. Ike you said, except they have evidence that he's been selling them, the icpc is only trying to be funny.

Truth is that he is not selling them. He is my senator so I know that much. I'm sure he'll eventually distribute them, but my grouse with the man is the delay. People need those things to earn a living man. Why keep them for so long?

Probably to select loyal people. I heard the man helps though.

Why don't you go and start having sex on the street rather than the confines of your rooms so that the whole world can know you are real?

Some things are meant to be done in private or within confined spaces. It should be a choice to be xposed to them. Don't throw sexually indecent things at people's faces.
