Countdown to 9 PM and I'll do it. All it cost is 5h for the small bottle. I will go and get it on credit. My fam will pay for it when I'm gone.

The world is full of fake love. I know once the news circulates that I'm gone they will all act like they care. But I'll be happy that I'm in a better place then..
The truth is that if you go that way, you will never end up in a better place. First, you need to take some responsibility and not see family members as if they owe you anything when they fail to meet up with your expectation. Fight against all odds of life and breakthrough, family will come looking for you. We all have passed through this same faze, many moments that pressured us to give up. Many thoughts of taking our lives because of what we went through, but we resisted and never gave in, and today here we are still kicking and winning.

JaredH:
how many Americans and Chinese have you seen in your village ?
American and Chinese are in different interior places in Africa where there are resources, they are there extracting them and making use of them (repatriating them to their home soil) , this is because most times these Africans who are the land owners, fail to see, or are unable to extract these resources or opportunities that surround them. That does mean that these Americans or Chinese are coming to Africa because they are indigents or impoverished in their own land.

Romance / Re: Her First Child Is Mine And Not The Husband's by DonXavi(m): 8:03am On Aug 10, 2023
Dexy4yah:
I dated this lady for few years... doing our courtship we had unprotected sex.
I later relocated to another state because of my studies....that's how the relationship died.

She later got married

After about 13years of not hearing from each other....one day my phone rang and behold she was the one...she called to tell me a secret...she said her first child is mine and not her husband's.
That doing our courtship she took in, she tried to abort it but it didn't work out for her, she didn't tell me about it because she knew that i was not ready to father a child at that time.

It was at that moment that she met this guy who is now her husband...the guy hasten everything and got married to her...she made him believe that the pregnancy is his own whereas that's was not the true...the boy is 8years old now.
She said her conscience has been disturbing her that's why she opened up to me.

I told her never to let the husband know about it and let the child be the husband's own....let her just forget everything about me being the father of the child so that her marriage won't crumble.
She has a loving husband and she is blessed with three kids aside the boy.

But she made one comment that when the boy reach 22years she will tell him who his real father is....she insisted. But am against it, i told her not to try it because if she end up telling the boy about it there is every possibility that the husband will end up knowing about it and i wonder how he is going to react towards it.

(Women can keep secret sha)
Please i hope i did the right thing??

The bolded is what I find heard to comprehend. You said you last saw and heard from each other 13 years ago, but the boy you are alleging she said is your son is 8 years now. How possible is that?

Science Park High School in Newark, New Jersey, U.S., has recently recognized Achunike Okafor, a Nigerian graduate, for his exceptional academic accomplishments.

According to TapIntoNewark, an online newspaper, Okafor has achieved a remarkable feat by attaining an International Baccalaureate
diploma with a record-breaking 4.625 grade point average (GPA) at the school.

Okafor’s outstanding GPA not only surpasses those of his fellow 2,649 graduates in the Class of 2023 but also sets a new milestone for the entire Newark City public school district.

Such an achievement has garnered significant attention, resulting in over 40 scholarship offers from renowned institutions such as Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Duke, Princeton, Penn State, Stanford, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, University of Southern California, and Rutgers.

Expressing his gratitude, Okafor humbly acknowledged the privilege and responsibility that accompanies such an honor.

He stated, “I am grateful for the opportunities to attend such esteemed universities and to represent my family and community. I do not take lightly the privilege and responsibility to be among the few individuals selected for such honors.”

The 18-year-old prodigy has set his sights on Harvard University, where he plans to pursue a degree in neuroscience.

Okafor’s remarkable accomplishments extend beyond his academic success. Described by Science Park principal Darlene Gearhart as an extraordinary individual, he is known for his humility, drive, and industriousness.

“There’s absolutely nothing average about him. He’s humble, driven, and industrious. He has always been a great kid. He is always eager to learn,” Gearhart commended.

Superintendent of Schools Roger León acknowledged Okafor’s exceptional performance as a source of pride for Science Park High, the school district, and the Newark community.

“We are extremely proud of Achunike Okafor. His achievements are a testament to his perseverance, resilience, and dedication to excellence. We wish him continued success at Harvard and look forward to more accomplishments from him in the future,” stated León.

Not only is Achunike Okafor’s success a source of pride for his school and community, but it also brings immense joy to his family.

His father, Godfrey Okafor, emphasized the value they place on education in their household, stating, “We place a high premium on education in our home. Education, and continuing to learn in life, allows young people to provide for themselves and their families and build their future.”

As a high school math teacher himself, Mr. Okafor is proud that his son’s achievements reflect the importance they have placed on education.

In addition to his academic pursuits, Achunike Okafor has actively participated in various leadership roles and extracurricular activities at Science Park High School. He co-founded the Science Club, served as the vice-president of the Junior Student Council and the Stand & Deliver Club, and held the position of president in both the Future Educators Club and Black Student Union. Okafor also demonstrated his skills as the co-captain of the robotics team and served as the treasurer of the Environmental Club.

Achunike Okafor’s remarkable academic journey and his commitment to excellence have made a significant impact at Science Park High School and beyond. His achievements serve as an inspiration to students and educators alike, highlighting the power of determination, resilience, and a passion for learning.

Yoruba people are really showing themselves as hypocrites. The h.ate they have for Igbos is too much. Once anything concerns the Igbos, the way they'll always misinterpret it to suit their h.ateful narrative is just something out of this world. They blow everything Igbo out of proportion. They should know that Igbos do not bow for any man.

Politics / LP Leadership Tussle: NLC Disowns Lamidi Apapa by DonXavi(m): 1:53pm On May 18, 2023
The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has disowned the factional leader of the Labour party, Lamidi Apapa.

In a statement released by Chris Uyoh, Secretary of NLC Political Commission, the labour union condemned the action of Lamidi at the Presidential Election Tribunal on Wednesday, May 17, describing it as shameful. The union stated that it was unfortunate that Apapa, was ascribing to himself “a vague status as the Chairman of the Labour Party.”

“The conduct of Mr. Lamidi Apapa at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal today, 17th May 2023, has once again brought to the fore the desperation of certain elements in the political class to deploy all manner of subterfuge and criminality to divide and despoil the massive goodwill currently being enjoyed by the Labour Party all over Nigeria.

It is very unfortunate that Mr. Lamidi Apapa who continues to act lawlessly as an impostor ascribing to himself a vague status as the Chairman of the Labour Party and on the claims of representing the Nigeria Labour Congress, is clearly receiving protection from institutions of the state whose mandate is the preservation of law and order” he said

Ufot said the Labour Party which was founded by the NLC more than three decades ago, confers institutional membership on the NLC and the Trade Union Congress (TUC).

“Institutional representation of organised labour in the leadership of the Labour Party is at the behest of nomination by the leadership of the national labour centers, or from the affiliate unions or state councils of the NLC and TUC. As at today, the National Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG) and the Oyo State Council of the NLC which Mr. Apapa Lamidi claims affiliation to has completely disclaimed giving Mr. Lamidi Apapa any mandate to act on their behalf in the Labour Party in any capacity whatsoever thus disowning him.

The national leadership of the Congress then wonders who Mr. Lamidi Apapa is representing in the Labour Party” he said

The NLC said the dubious action by Mr. Lamidi Apapa and his cohorts has been sustained by interested political actors in Nigeria whose abiding wish is the death of the Labour Party.

“It is clear that Mr. Lamidi Apapa is a meddlesome interloper who is being used by reactionary forces to deny Nigerians the benefit of an alternative political thought and organisation geared towards genuine national redemption and transformation. The NLC Political Commission wishes to reiterate its earlier statement disowning the so-called factional leadership of the Labour Party led by Mr. Lamidi Apapa.

Any attempt to allow Mr. Lamidi Apapa to foist the show of shame he and his minions exhibited today at the sitting of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal would be strongly resisted by organised Labour.

We urge the Nigerian workers and people to retain its faith in our judiciary as the bastion of justice and the final refuge of the oppressed. We also call on all progressive Nigerians to remain vigilant as the court case by the Labour Party is considered by the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.

Organised Labour as the custodian of the ideology and values of the Labour Party of Nigeria will not sit back and watch conmen take advantage of our name and goodwill to sell the Labour Party to the highest bidder.”the statement in part read

With all this glaring and conspicuous evidence coming out and proving gross fraud and unimaginable irregularities in the presidential election, Tinubu must not be sworn in as president if Nigeria must remain a respected nation. Some few selfish individuals with their clique cannot foist an undesirable person as president to a population of over 200 million.

Romance / Re: Is Being Yoruba The Opposite Of Being Beautiful? by DonXavi(m): 7:58am On May 04, 2023
franchasofficia:
The truth is, beautiful and ugly people are found everywhere just as we have rich and poor in all tribes and races too, but the bitter truth is that due to genetic factors, some race or tribe are more physically endowed than others.

Can you compare the Chinese with Arabs when it comes to physical beauty? No. But still, we have beautiful people among Chinese but in generality, Arabs have far more good looking people than Chinese. Even among the Asians with almost similar gene, The Filipinos look far cuter than other Asians like Chinese. Same with Malaysians, etc.

So yes there are beautiful and handsome people in Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo, Efik, Ibibio, Fulani, Idoma, Bini, Ijaw, etc tribes but there seems to be far more handsome and beautiful looking people among the Igbos than other tribes, these things has to do with genetics, cultural practice, food, etc.

If you check the Igbos very well, they eat vegetables and leafy foods a lot, it forms majority of their diet, and couple with other genetic factors which could be the reason they produce more good looking people than other tribes.

If you check Yoruba food menu, they enjoy oily foods and plenty oil in their meal, coupled with meat. The result of this is that Yoruba women usually have fleshy buttocks because the excess fat from their oil rich diets gets stored around their bombom. Same cultural diet make Fulanis and Hausas very slim and slender with pretty cheeky face.

Dear pretty Miss op, don't let it disturb you, it is a natural human nature to engage in fallacy of hasty generalizations based on some facts. But I tell you, Yoruba men and other tribes men know this and that is part of the reason they try so much to marry an Igbo lady as a wife when they become financially successful, mostly to have good looking children.

If you check on Nairaland, due to the fact that majority of drug trafficking cases in Asia we read here ends up being Igbos, anytime you hear that someone was caught with drugs, the first thing you would assume is that the person must be Igbo. Same way, once we hear a drug trafficking case in Saudi Arabia, we conclude it must be a Yoruba Muslim or an Hausa-Fulani person, and when we hear a ritualist news, we first assume it happened in Ogun or Oyo state.

The world live by generation fallacies
grin grin grin grin grin Watch and see, this pure TRUTH you just stated here will be attacked by some people who hate the TRUTH and are always happy to wallow in lies even when they know the TRUTH.
