Acecards:Good score but I hope you know how massively competitive medicine is? From your jamb score you have a 36. Last year, an agg around 75+ should get you medicine and if we are to judge on that, you'll need work harder for post utme. If I were you, I'd switch to a relatively less competitive course like MedLab to further boost my chances. Just my own opinion though. |

icebird25: Okay, you will still need work hard for your post-utme for PolSci. All the best. |

nolanpatt33:Uhm for QS, English, Physics, Maths and one other subject which I dunno. He should really prepare hard like he is going for 'common entrance exam into heaven', not because of the course or school but because with a high post utme score, the better his chances. |

MorolayoVictor:Hmm, i'm no sir biko. Your post-utme subject combination will be English, Maths, Economics & Government, though little geography might be added. You have 32 already, for ecostat...i'd say an aggregate of 65 and above should get you in, i.e a post-utme score around 70. As per 2006 waec, you should be able to use that in uniben cuz I can remember someone during my clearance using a very old waec certificate. But anyway, whenever I see the guy, I'll ask him to be sure of the exact year of his own waec. |

nolanpatt33:Thats a 25 already, though QS is not so competitive, he will still need do really well in post-utme to be at a confidence level. |

slimmyjimmy:You will most likely write post-utme except the government comes again with their 'mumuness' No official cutoff as the school won't release any but you already have 34.5 from your jamb score which is really good for computer engineering. Kill post utme also and trust me, you're almost there already. |
Education / Re: 2018/2019 UNIBEN Admission Guide Thread. by Draie: 7:31pm On Mar 22, 2018 |
holuwharsheun4:Yea with a strong post-utme score. An agg of 64 got pharmacy last year but I wouldn't want you to depend on that. To be on a safe side, aim higher than that. I.e, say a post-utme score of 70 and above which will give you an aggregate of 65. If you can do more than that, with the fact that you're also from Delta, you stand a good chance for pharmacy. |

Yinkuzie:Judging on how high medicine was last year, to me a post-utme score around 82 upwards which will give you an aggregate of 75+ should do. Coupled with other factors stated in the previous page, you have an idea on if you should or not depending on your capabilities. |

zenbancrofti:For dentistry with 271 already, to me I'd suggest a post-utme score of 75 upwards should do. Though other things also matter like I stated up there. |
Education / Re: 2018/2019 UNIBEN Admission Guide Thread. by Draie: 7:12pm On Mar 21, 2018 |
Mizsuccess2018:My dept? Let's skip that for now. Normally post-utme exams should start towards ending of 2nd semester which used to be around June. But last set defied that by holding exams I think around September which was when school was on sessional break. So for this incoming set, we don't know yet how its gonna be but at least you now have an idea of the timeframe. |
Education / Re: 2018/2019 UNIBEN Admission Guide Thread. by Draie: 7:00pm On Mar 21, 2018 |
Most of y'all asking after your chances, know that there are other things involved apart from your jamb & post utme scores. 1) If you fall under the catchment area. 2) General performance of others who chose thesame course you're gunning for. 3) How competitive that course is. (number of aspirants going for it) |

DateMynd44:Hmm, I just have this feeling that exam might be shifted upfront a lil. That aside, for the tests you missed, you and your course rep should work together so he can take you to the lecturers you've missed their tests to explain your situation. Not a guarantee though. |
