To start with, it depends on the following"

1. The kind of work you are doing
2. What you intend to do with the 50m
3. Your lifestyle

Someone else might say 10m is all he needs to start his own kind of business and live with his family in a rented mini flat.

Another might say he would buy a flat or build a house with 10/20m and do business with the remainder.

Mind you, business is not as easy as it seems. You might get in and make a fortune or loose it all.

My suggestion:

Either loose your job and continue with what fetched you the 50m and invest in landed properties so that you can have something to fall back on if anything goes wrong.

Or if you are not business inclined and you earn a good salary and you enjoy your work, set up a business and let trusted people manage it for you in addition to buying landed properties.

if u are, talking about scalpers, the major weakness for them are

1. spread on demo and live are totally different
2. requotes on demo and live are different
3. some brokers dont allow small take profit

^^ is u want to scalp, u hv to research 4 the brokers that allows that, Fxpro and all ECN and STP brokers allow that

Yes, it is a scalper EA and I agree with you that it might be a "Spread" or "Requote" issue. I use FXPro and they allow scalping. Guess i need to tweak it some more. The EA makes an average of 100 - 150pips per week on a demo account.

I have a situation here. I was working/tweaking a particular EA on a demo account. This EA happens to do remarkably well on demo account but not on live account. I would like to know if you have experienced anything like that before.

Unfortunately its not for everyone. In the beginning it might be tough, but by the time you get hold of it, it looks so easy.

Apart from the business aspect of trading, I have passion for trading which can only be fulfilled by manual trading.

I trade using both EA(demo for now) and manual. There is nothing as sweet as having your own strategy setup and seeing it materialise.

Believe it, there are EAs and Indicators that work, but people dont talk about them, they just sit tight and enjoy the profit. Still trying to perfect mine.

This is an airline (formerly Virgin Nigeria) operated by Nigerians, flown by Nigerians with Nigerian passengers(e.g Ministers, Governors, highly placed professionals and artist), and you say you can't fly.

Its nice to know that you can modify EAs to what you want.

I dont do programming but I tweak. People should stop condeming EAs just because it didnt work for them. You would be surprised that even the widely known FAPT that people now say doesnt work again works for some with a little tweaking.

Richard Branson was not frustrated out of Nigeria. He just wasn't really interested in taking the company to another level. He never had any investment in Nigeria, all the aircrafts were leased, never owned its own office. He was never ready to stay for long.

Emirates Airline come to Nigeria twice daily with their Big aircraft and they still want more slot because they know how to do the business the right way.

I belief Air Nigeria (Under Jimoh Ibrahim) will do well.

Air Nigeria(Virgin Nigeria) is one of the best airlines Nigeria has in terms of safety, customer service and maintenance. That is the only airline I enjoy flying.

This will be the third time of posting consecutively, lets see if this will be deleted as well.

Yes they do. I use more of scalping on their platform and I have withdrawn.

What negative stuff did you hear about Fxpro? I have been dealing with them for quite a long time and I have never had a major issue.

The issue is, even if you demo trade for 10yrs and you are unable to get a Trading Strategy that makes MORE PROFITS than LOSSES before going live, then get ready to loose money.
