Romance / Father Rapes And Infect 6 Years Old Daughter With STD by ebukaddon: 9:54am On Dec 10, 2015
Harrison Agu, a 35-year-old man, has been
arraigned before an Ikeja Chief Magistrates’ Court,
sitting in Lagos State, for allegedly defiling his six-
year-old daughter and infecting her with a
sexually transmitted disease in the process.
Agu, a father of three who resides with his family
at 23, Rotimi Omotosho Street, Isheri Osun,
Lagos, was charged with indecent treatment of a
minor, an offence that carries a seven-year
imprisonment if found guilty.
The police prosecutor in the case, Inspector
Simon Imhonwa , had told the court that the Agu
regularly raped his own daughter within the last
three years and that he started the shameful act
when his wife went for the mandatory National
Youth Service Corps scheme in 2013.
“The accused began the assault in 2013 when the
child’s mother was away for the compulsory one
year NYSC.
It was during this period that the child fell ill with
a serious infection in her genitals for the first
time.
Thereafter, the mother of the child observed that
the child’s genitals regularly produced a foul
smell with discharges.
The mother took the child to the hospital where it
was confirmed that she had been defiled and
infected with the disease.
The mother said her child told her that Agu
always asked her to remove her jeans and pants
and then he will put his hand in her ‘bum
bum’ (vagina) and if she refuses, he beats her,”
the prosecutor said.
He further told the court that police investigations
into the case revealed that the child had been
physically and emotionally abused since she was
aged 3.
However, the accused pleaded not guilty to the
charge and the Magistrate, Mrs Bola Osunsanmi,
admitted him to bail in the sum of N500,000,
and ordered that the file be forwarded to the
Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) for advice

bluntness and sincerity are the cornerstones of
most relationships. Talking candidly and honestly
about s.εx, passion, commitment, and one’s
aspirations for the future helps it grow into a long
lasting union.
However, there are some questions that a man
never wants to hear come out of his woman’s
mouth.
These are questions that are irrelevant in the
relationship yet women insist on asking them.

Tell me about your ex

As might be expected, the topic of the ex is
bound to come up at some point in the
relationship. It is okay to ask why they broke up
and whether they are still friends. This
conversation becomes dangerous when you start
obsessing over it and ask questions like ‘is she
hotter than me’ or ‘between me and her, who is
the better kisser’. When you constantly bring up
his ex, you come across as hopelessly insecure.

How many lovers have you had

Nothing positive can come out of this one.
Whatever he did in his past is between him and
his conscience. Questions about numbers only
beget more questions and create more insecurity.
It is none of your business how many women he
has slept with. The only thing you need to know
about his sexual past is whether he’s disease free.
‘How many women have you had s’εx with is
blond. What should bother you is, “Do you have
an STD”

I’m I the best you have ever had

It sounds sεxy and seductive when you ask, but
you only reek more of your insecurities. Chances
are, you are not the best he has ever had and
hearing him say that will demoralise you. Most
men won’t come right out and say it, so you end
up putting him in a difficult situation where he
has to lie because he wants you to feel confident
and beautiful on a daily basis.

Do you love me

If a man truly loves you, he will let you know.
Asking him this question puts him on the spot
and he will most likely lie to avoid hurting your
feelings or tell you the truth and hurt your
feelings. Either way, the outcome is undesirable.
Those three little words should not be forced out
of someone. Men do not always wear their
emotions on their sleeves but that doesn’t mean
he doesn’t love you.

Do you see a future with me.

This question is perfectly appropriate and even
important to ask after you have been dating for a
while. The timing makes all the difference.
Needless to say, there is a problem with asking
this question early on in the relationship. There
is a big chance that you will just scare him off if
you begin addressing the “serious” issues before
you are far enough into the relationship

Celebrities / 5 Things Nigeria Are Best Know For Around The World by ebukaddon: 2:33pm On Dec 08, 2015
that comes to mind when you hear ‘Nigeria’?
One in every five African is Nigerian; that is how
large and populated Nigeria is.
It is not just Africa’s most populous nation, but
also Africa’s most popular nation.
To some people in the west, every African is a
Nigerian, one can hardly fault them; Nigerians are
all around the globe, inscribing their names on
the map of every continent.
But what is the country most famous for across
the globe?

Oil – The number one thing Africa’s giant is most
famous for is petroleum. When you think oil, you
think Nigeria. Nigeria remains Africa’s largest oil
producer, though the country went from being
10th to 12th largest producer of oil in the world.
Oil plays a major role in the country’s economy,
accounting for about 70 percent of government
revenue and 95 percent of foreign exchange
income.

The city of Lagos – Renowned as Africa’s big
apple, Lagos is an economic focal point, an
industrial hub and a commercial powerhouse to
not just Nigerians, but to the world. The city of
Lagos is Nigeria’s most cosmopolitan city and a
melting pot of a variety of culture – African, Asian
and European – with a diverse and large number
of American, European, Asian, and Lebanese
expatriates who live in, and juggle businesses in
and out of the country.

Terrorism (Boko Haram) – Unfortunately, not
everything the country is known for is positive.
The prevalence of the terrorist sect Boko Haram
has placed the country at the centre of the
international media, making the country even
more famous than its oil. The result of search
engines when ‘Nigeria’ is typed is proof of this.
Whether the Nigerian people like it or not, the
name ‘Nigeria’ is now synonymous with
terrorism.

Corruption – Although corruption is a
widespread phenomenon that is not only peculiar
to just Nigeria, it is a pandemic in the country
that every elected leader has promised to
eradicate yet failed to. But with the current
administration, Nigerians have renewed hope for
a corrupt free state. President Buhari has given a
new definition to corruption, and vowed to
eradicate it. Hopefully at the end of his tenure,
corruption will seize to be on this list.

Entertainment – America has Hollywood, India
has Bollywood and Nigeria has Nollywood. The
Nigerian film industry has grown to become the
second largest in the world in terms of the
number of movies produced annually, placing it
ahead of Hollywood and behind Bollywood.
Nigerian actors and producers like Omotola
Jalade Ekeinde, and Kunle Afolayan have also
made their mark in the international scene. The
Nigerian music industry also pulls its weight in
the international scene, with quite a number of
international collaborations and recognition.

Phones / Re: Top 5 Myth / Lies Nigerians Believe About Mobile Phone...... by ebukaddon: 2:30pm On Dec 08, 2015
dekunleh:
You should not write when you don't know what to write, your first four points are true, so don't deceive people, you don't know anything about telecommunications.
1. Telecommunications radiation causes cancer, only that the one through phone is minimal, but don't sleep with your phone by your side
2. The same radiation can spark up fire in electromagnetic field which apply to the fuel station and generator,
3. The battery needs to be fully charged before higher consumption which is why it's needed before we start using here in Nigeria due to irregular voltage and power supply.

Advice, next time you want to educate people, be sure not to pass wrong information.
Thanks
no vex what kinda cancer
Phones / Re: Top 5 Myth / Lies Nigerians Believe About Mobile Phone...... by ebukaddon: 12:04pm On Dec 08, 2015
Khd95:
Is it also a myth that Mobile phones turned us into liarsgrin
that one na normal something
Phones / Top 5 Myth / Lies Nigerians Believe About Mobile Phone...... by ebukaddon: 7:56am On Dec 08, 2015
big lies Nigerians believe about mobile
phones

1. Mobile phone radiation can cause cancer
Some Nigerians still believe that the radiation
that emits when using a phone can cause
cancer. It is understandable that radiation from
our phones can make us a bit uneasy
especially when we put them to our heads or
sleep right next to them on our beds. However
scientific studies have shown that there's no
link between mobile phones and cancer.
Furthermore, mobile phones are ELF (Extreme
Low Frequency) devices. The low-powered radio
and microwave radiation they emit don’t not
have the right frequency or energy to ionise
molecules and change the body DNA structure.
So you no longer have to worry about bodily
contact with your mobile phones. You should
probably worry about other real dangers like
avoid touching your boiling ring while it's
connected to electricity.

2. You must charge your mobile phone for x
number of hours before first use
It’s 2015 and people still think it is
“manufacturer recommended” to charge their
phone to optimum level before first use.
Interesting to say that my dad coerced me into
buying this idea me when he bought me my
first ever mobile phone. While this myth holds
true for older phones powered by lead acid
batteries, it’s been rendered invalid since the
advent of lithium-ion batteries. You will find
lithium-ion batteries in virtually every
smartphone today. Lithium-ion batteries do not
need to be fully charged at any point in time,
nor is it desirable to do so. In fact, it is better
not to fully charge your phone because a high
voltage stresses the battery. Some
manufacturers even set the charge threshold
lower on purpose in order to prolong battery
life. So at this moment you can start locating
whoever sold this myth to you, and if possible,
meet his/her behaviour with a deserved
punitive action.

3. Using your mobile phone close to a fuel
pump can set off a fire
warning You may have seen the warning signs
at the filling station, fuel pumps or may have
heard it drop from someone’s lips. The worry
comes from the idea that a phone battery could
cause a spark when in close proximity with an
inflammable liquid. However, unless the
battery was inexplicably faulty, mobile batteries
do not spark so this won’t happen. If safety
boards were worried about batteries near the
pumps, what about that massive one sitting
under your car bonnet? The more likely cause
of petrol station fires come from a build up in
static electricity, often from the material from
the seat as you exit the car.

4. Mobile phones usage close to Generators
can set off a fire
Nigerians with their nonchalant attitude are
quite aversive to taking precautions. Under
normal circumstances you’d expect someone
who is on a mission to power on the generator
to be accompanied with a torchlight in case of
complete blackout. But that however does not
imply that a torchlight is safer to use than your
phone acting as a makeshift. Rather if a
torchlight is safe to use, so also is a phone
since both are powered by a battery. Someone
involved in a fire accident while trying to put
on the generator may have failed to take other
precautions, and not necessarily an error
borne out of having a phone while within the
proximity of the generator.

5. Mobile phones can ruin your relationship
Although there might be logical ground to think
that obsession with one's phone or spending
so much time on social media platforms can
have a negative impact on relationships.
Possibly to the extent of breakup. Be that as it
may, the thought appears to be subjective and
not necessarily a thing of certainty. Either or
both partners in a relationship could have
strong affinities for their phones and yet not
compromise on their feelings for each other to
necessitate a break up. And in instances where
such attitude has led to breakups, the same
does not apply to all relationship where either
or both partners are obsessed with their
phones. It’s a question of the maturity and
understanding between the partners. But on a
serious note, finding a balance between
maintaining your other commitments and of
tasks that keeps you constantly engaged with
your phone, may just be saving a relationship
from this breakup myth or reality breakup for
that matter.

Celebrities / 7 Types Of Phone Users Which Are You by ebukaddon: 10:56pm On Dec 02, 2015
there are different types of phone users based
on how they get a new phone and how the use
it. and these set of people are....

1. I see, I like, I buy!
These set of people just buy any phone,
anyhow, anytime, any amount. Based on "that's
what is trending now" or they just like the
phone when they saw it. Today iPhone 6,
tomorrow galaxy s6 edge, next tomorrow
Blackberry priv.

2. Annual Upgrade
These set of people have one particular brand
of phone they use. They just buy a new version
of it once its out. And use it till the next version
is out. Is this set of people you find on queue
waiting for sales to begin on the next version
"iphone" especially. I still don't see why I go
line up for days just because I wan buy the
latest iphone.

3. Bi-annual upgrade
These set of people don't buy latest flagships,
they buy flagships of 2 years old. For example,
when galaxy s5 came out, my friend bought s3,
now there is s6, he is using s4.

4. Team london used
These set of people don't buy new phones, they
prefer to buy refurbished phones or 2nd hand.
And most times they buy phones irregularly,
any time they enter market, they swap of sell
their current phone and buy another 2nd hand
phone. If you mention say you like their phone,
the next thing they go tell you is "you wan buy
am? Na for sale o!"

5. Phone Gift
These set of people don't even buy phones. The
phone they use were given to them as a gift,
and they would use that phone till the next
"phone Gift" arrives..and their phone dey
hardly lost or spoil...cos na gift so they go dey
carry the phone like egg. People that won their
phone in a contest also falls here

6. Heritage
These set of people don't also buy phones, they
collect ex-phones from their parents or uncle/
aunty. Also people that fall here are those who
just go home and pick any phone lying around
that no one is using, clean and use. Una know
yourself. You don dey eye your uncle s6 edge
Because say e be "annual upgrade" and s7 dey
launch February.

7. Maximum output
These set of people buy phone once, and use
the phone till it develops fault or get stolen or
just lost or it becomes completely unusable
before they consider buying another. Some of
them, you have to beg them.."Oga, you still dey
use this phone? This you phone don try na,
abeg buy new one"

ADD YOURS!!!
And where do you belong?
